- Visited Curaçao for the first time in September 2023. Such a beautiful place to see! Also, you don’t have to worry as much about hurricanes this time of year due to its location and surrounding islands (was told by my resort staff). People are very friendly, there is always something to see, something to do, something to eat, and beautiful waters to swim in. Temperatures were around 92-95° the week I visited but felt much warmer due to humidity. Be sure to stay hydrated and protected with sunscreen. Highly recommend checking out this gorgeous Dutch Caribbean island 🏝️🇨🇼

Really nice video. We were in Curacao last week on a cruise. We fell in love with it and would like to go back and stay in a resort. The one you stayed in looked really nice, would you stay there again or was there another one you saw while you were there that you would like to stay at?
I would definitely stay at Coral Estate again and recommend it. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the city but as long as you have a car it’s all good. Hope you have a wonderful time when you return back 😀

Did you even snorkel??? I’ll mention use Maps Me, download at the airport on their wifi, no wifi needed to get where you are going. You do need a navigator reading the directions. We used in 2019 so will see if it’s improved when we are back in October.
Come further to the east side of the island next time you are here! You missed the other half of the island with beaches, boat trips, lots more restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Made me laugh at the comment that the ice cream place reminded you of Baskin Robbins because there are a few of those on the island also.

Looks like you had a great time. You took some wonderful footage. That said, what a missed opportunity for an exceptional video. A real time vlog style narrated video is so much more dynamic. I would love to have heard your opinions, from the details of your late flights to all the your thoughts about your resort, the food , all of it. You seem to have a wonderful eye for content. I hope you consider trying a narrated vlog format. I think you would be a hit.
Rent a car and explore the whole island. This video gave a glimpse from downtown Willemstad to Westpunt but not further east. The whole island from one side to the other is about an hour or so drive. Nothing is too far away. I would recommend a sunset cruise with Bluefinn Charters, doing a TikiBoat rental, go to Punda Vibes Thursday nights, a guided bike ride with Wannabike. Explore Fort Beekenburg, Tugboat Beach and Directors Bay, Jan Thiel Beach, Mambo Beach are all in the same general area also.....so many things to see and do in Curacao. Hope you love it!

They accept dollars and will give you back dollars in change too, mostly anywhere we went. In September 2023, our economy sized car cost about $40 per day. Hope that helps and hope you have a wonderful time!
