After cutting, just make sure you put an antifungal powder on the area that has been sliced so that it will not rot. And sterilize your tools if you want a good chance of survival

I pull it out to check but the roots are completely fine and the chunk seems to be okay aswell. My question is, will it possible to spring new node or that propagation is already a goner? TIA

In the second method, what should be the water quality where leaves with roots are soaked to stimulate root growth before planting on soil?

Water when dry.always keep the soil moist, but not over watered.
