- Missouri Western safeties Jack Long and Shane Simpson have a fan for life in Teresa Gall. That's after the two teammates saved her grandson, 17-month old Liam Snook, from being locked inside a car in the August heat.

Excellent story -- and kudos to the two outstanding young men/safeties who decided to go check "it" out and get involved in being a part of the solution, instead of catching it all on their cellphones and posting it online later... of course, later for the bystander this time would've been a tragedy-to-be.

What most people dont realize their heroism was in sensing something was wrong, and going back to help a woman in need. Anyone would have helped once they knew the baby was in trouble, its the fact that they stopped when they saw someone in need of help.
