Funny enough, the fact that MEE6 went from ~$90 to ~$900 in just a short time, for a service that could be replicated by literally anything else, really goes to show how they ARE indeed worse than EA. Now I do think EA is incredibly scummy and generally awful for releasing endless expensive expansion packs on The Sims 4, but at *least* EA released all these DLCs one by one for many years; and it's not like they released DLC and then started taking features away from the original game itself, because you still got to play the base game! So when MEE6, a DISCORD BOT, not only inflates their prices outrageously, but then ALSO TAKES FEATURES AWAY FROM THE BASIC BOT, it is as though they are deliberately trying to get shit on. WTF? Even funnier still is that EA doesn't ban people from playing TS4 for criticizing their game or company. Wow. Innovation.
Mee6's security must be garbage if you bypassed the ban! 😅
The nerve to slap the “Most Popular” label on that option makes it so much worse.
I can legit hire a discord bot developer and get my own bot done with those $1000 LOL
I spent two years off Discord.
I come back to _thys??_
Mee6 have no higher level functioning.
Poor grandma
i wouldn't even risk all that money for a bot on a platform which irrationally changes its mind on things and ignores its community.
Largest Discord bot does an NFT rugpull, Discord does nothing. Really love how in bed the two are. Really makes me feel like Discord cares about its users almost as much as Mee6 devs do.
huh? name one app on earth who cares even a very bit about their users

"Imagine spending $1000 on a Discord" meanwhile someone named "GaroShadowScale" aka furry EA executive used to have a patreon subcription that costs 1,000 USD a month, but he took it down because people found out about it, but he still has 500 USD subcription which isn't any better 💀
I can't believe mee6 is speedrunning his own bankrupt

They just loosing a lot of popularity. Legit removed this bot cuz of this stunt. But sum servers actually pays for mee6 is crazy
@@fewkeyfewkey5414 yeah, the mee6 perks are so basic that you can just see a tutorial of how to make a bot and make it yourself, not to mention there are thousands of bots that can do the same

this is why you use sapphire

At this rate we have to get discord to remove them from the whole thing
id buy an steam deck and games for it over an comically overpriced lifetime subscription for an discord bot.

I have always considered MEE6 my nemesis. For years I have hated this thing and now... Yeah... Pain and suffering.
Better than the time verbalase spend 50k on a shipping animation though

at least that guy is rich and 50k is almost nothing to him, it's also his own money and we're watching his animation for free so you lose 0$, but mee6? do i really need to link this same video
This is literally the perfect time for someone to make the exact same bot, charge like $80 for life time, and include all the addons in it. They will make so much money.
7:12 Are you a gooner NTTS🤨🤨🤨
They don't want you to buy Lifetime. That's the point. They lose money on it. They want you to buy the subscriptions instead.

Well you're not stupid enough to do either, i hope.
Worst part is, many of these mee6 bot features that they charge $1000 for used to be completely free.

Alternate explanation:
* People were considering it when it was $90
* It goes to $1,000 and said people feel like they missed out.
* You litterally just told them "It's $90 again, but probably won't stay this way for long."
...they mave have just gotten you to do marketing for them.
why is bro banned on the main account

I wonder why

"I bought a Discord bot"
They are charging you 60 godamned euros for changing the bot’s name when you can simply do that in discord
For a thousand dollars you can open 240 CS2 Kilowatt cases, gambling is worth more than a discord bot
For a thousand dollars, you can buy 2% of a music video of you being chased by a demon in a lustful way
Seeing all this makes me happy that I got mee6 back in 2019 when it was still pretty much free
big brain idea invest that 1000 and accumulate enough money to buy mee6 and then lower the prices
if i would put a price this big, it's probably because i put it as a joke and don't really want people to have that feature
imagine MEE6 staff/owner watching this and says : Ooo
😂
ignoring grandma calls from the hospital was wild 💀
The bag or the grave
I'm a software engineering and I guess $1000 for lifetime subscription is somewhat fair because comparing it to a downloadable software is like comparing apple to cars, cause company built it once then you need your own hardware to run it but hosting an online service at scale really hurts the wallet, for estimations check how much companies spend on cloud infrastructure.
