You don't see Nolan trying to have a pushup contest with Batman or Denis Villeneuve Villeneuve trying to fight every critic do you? Good directors like Tarantino can actually explain their creative choices instead of getting all defensive about it.

It’s ridiculous because I’ve seen people hate on him but it’s called constructive criticism, but someone praising his movies, is called fanboy.
Snyder is parodying himself in a Late Show, I love it.

This parody direction honestly explains SO much about the majority of his characters' inhuman dialogue delivery... the only possible explanation is that he literally told them to "act hungry", and they tilted off the face of the planet. George Lucas-tier actor direction.

The Synder cut was a masterpiece! I can’t believe they tried to push him out! He’s a genius and brings a darker side to cliché hero movies made for teenagers. His cut was complex and dark and a work of art. 🇺🇸

@sunbro of astora - That's what I've been saying. The villains of the movie are such a blatant stand-in for Neo-Nazis/white supremacists. They literally call themselves "the Pure Ones" and indoctrinate a young, angry owl into their group by preying on his weaknesses and insecurities. If the movie were released today, I think everyone would get it. Even the people who seemingly didn't pay attention to the messages in his other movies, considering this was his least subtle.

Honestly for a second there I liked Jon Baptiste. But no, he had to have that stupid grin even at the end of being a zombie. He's talented and probably a much better person than I am.
