As @davewfilms and I almost finalized our 2-week travel in Japan, we decided it was time for us to stay in a village to take in the slow pace of the Japanese way of living.
I found a local guesthouse situated in some of the most scenic farmlands surrounded by the tranquil settlements in Biei. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, we were grateful to be able to see and explore some of the less-visited areas and villages of Japan. We headed to Shirogane Blue Pond which is a stunning sight due to its otherworldly blue color! Its deep blue colour owes it to natural minerals dissolved in the water.

ABOUT ME:
In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveller and UA-cam creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveller, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on UA-cam, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.

Thank you for showing us some of the best tourist spots in Japan. Try visit Shikoku where there’s more nature and less tourists. The best places in Japan are those have yet been mentioned in your guide book. I walked the Shikoku pilgrim trail every year for the last two, covered 47 out of the 88 temples. And you’ll discover you haven’t seen the most beautiful village in Japan yet.

I was interested to hear, that the next videos are going to be from Taiwan - I have just this week finished producing a CD album for a group from Taiwan. The group is called "A Moving Sound", you'll find them on UA-cam with a couple of albums I did for them in the last 3 years. - Now, through your videos, I'll be able to see a bit of their country.
I also explored your projected tour to Afghanistan, but my travels this year will take me to the USA and to Austria and the dates clash with your tour, alas.
Hello Diz! I am always so glad to read your comment, as always! Yes, the blue lake is so famous I also didnt realize that it was on Hokkaido island. I will only have 2 or max 3 videos from Taiwan (short series) but it would be scooter riding videos 😂 Hopefully you'll still find it interesting.
