  • Step inside a forgotten piece of Italy’s industrial past as we explore an abandoned silk mill, untouched since the 1950s. Once a thriving hub of craftsmanship, this mill was part of a booming silk industry that clothed royalty and the wealthy elite. But behind the elegance of silk lies a hidden story of hardship.
In this video, we uncover the eerie remnants of the mill's operations, from rusting machinery to decaying workstations, and delve into its haunting history. Did children as young as eight once toil here, their hands guiding the delicate threads of luxury? What caused this mill to suddenly fall silent?
Join us as we navigate through time, piecing together the mill’s story and revealing the secrets it holds. From the faded grandeur of its architecture to the chilling silence within, this exploration promises an unforgettable glimpse into a bygone era.

@boringpolitician I have seen pictures of the building still standing.
I guess a mix of it all really and no care. It's so strange it isn't knocked down and re reused.

@@E_UNIT - The calendar said 2008, so it's not THAT long ago! That's why I thought this was a newer and more sudden something that happened.

@boringpolitician yeah okay I see what you mean I wonder if any disasters hit around 2008. The mill was definitely last used in the 1950s
