I lost a wallet in New Orleans in 1990. It was returned from the NOPD In 2010. The cash was gone but all the cards were there. The NOPD has always been slow.☹️

This is purposeful. If you take longer to respond to reports the complainant is more likely to give up and not file it resulting in artificially low crime rates. You must file reports any and every time you are a victim of a crime in these cities
That is not ok, that would make criminals in that area seem very competent in taking advantage of the situation on the terrain.
Well it's not as if the police are gonna solve any crimes, but ok!

A business owner told me that a guy pulled out a gun on him. So the business then shot at the guy. I asked did he call police “he said yes”. When the police arrived a officer told him do what you have to do to protect yourself but stop calling for any & everything. lol

That’s because there are people of other races and people that actually sponsor the politicians. They take care of the people that take care of them and they don’t want to defund the police. We can’t dislike them, disrespect them, not “snitch” to them but want fast responses🥴. Maybe some of those mass amount of rappers can apply to the department.
This is horrible I am gm of a restaurant one employee got robbed and they never showed up or called either and other times I've had customers tell me call the police they won't come till tomorrow and I'll be gone by than so they know this and they gonna still keep doing it over and over till they change how they run the district
I question my self rhetorically, if people start to shoot every criminal, and then call the police and say "I was being robbed in Y location, but no worries, I have already kill him, you can come collect the body when you have time, I'm going away...." will the police still take so much time? Or to protect criminals they will be fast?

The police in New Orleans are down for the hood. They know sometimes their boyz gotta get some act right out of their babies mamas. You can't lock up your boyz for that.
