    Nice detail with the on-screen pointers and slideshows. Are you sure you don’t have a broadcast media background?

    What tires and size are those? They fit and look great

      Hi Thomas, Thank you for your inquiry! We are running the BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 | LT265/60R18. These tires are one-centimeter larger (in overall diameter) than the original stock tires which, in actuality, is only 5 mm taller. They have an "E" Load Rating, which is as high as you can obtain for this particular vehicle. They are "somewhat" noisy, I suppose, but really not that bad - at all. That having been said, I am thoroughly pleased with their overall performance and would NOT consider changing them. Why? When you find something that is working for you, run with it! Thanks again~

    What is the rational behind putting the spare wheel on the back of the LR3? Did you put an extra fuel tank in its place?

    • @overlanditaly
      @overlanditaly  5 місяців тому

      Hi Mark,
      "Yes" sir. The original spare tire was an emergency donut tire, while the new spare is full-size. We also added an ARB "Long Ranger" fuel tank, all of which we will be covering in Part 5. Stay Tuned~!

    What make and model of the rear view mirror did you install? Are you still using it and happy with it?

      I am using a "G-Series Frameless Rear View Replacement Mirror Monitor with 7.2" Display" which I purchased in 2021 from RVS or "Rear View Safety" and have been very pleased with their products as they continue to perform without any issues 4-years running.

    This cars are known as a trouble maker because are not reliable , to be more specific both engines 3.0 v6 diesel and 2.7 hawe a weak spot the crankshaft usualy blew up around 100.000 km so if you want to keep this car for a longer time I sugest you to swap the original crankshaft with a forged one, I know for what this car ofers it s cheep , a better alternative is wv touareg or jeep grand Cherokee vith 2.7 mercedes engine both cars are very reliable

      The video(s) aren’t about the choice of vehicle, but rather the manner in which it has been built-out for overlanding. The “weak spot” to which you are referring was a manufacturing error in some of the vehicles produced, not a design flaw by the engineers of the engine.
