I ran re2 and re3 at almost max settings perfectly at 60 fps but am getting frequent stutters in this game. do you think this is due to 8gb ram? I will upgrade to 16 very soon anyway.
Yes this game for me consumes about 10+ GB of Ram in total so its possible that its because of that. Also make sure you run Ram in Dual Channel mode always as that is free FPS boost for system. 16 GB from looks of what modern games are demanding is going to be bare minimum soon! So don't doubt upgrading that and make sure when playing RE4 remake you set textures to just enough that it never come close to max Vram limit. That way you will avoid most of the stutters..
Switch off the Shadow cache in RE2 and RE3. When I switch off it, in RE2, I get perfectly stable 60 fps on RTX 2060 at 70% of 4K.
CPU is too weak for that GPU.
Yeah upgrade of complete PC other than GPU is due this year. I upgraded my GPU back then and now it's other parts turn. Still this CPU proved a beast to me for my requirements and I will let the king rest now 😄
Mine too, the graphics don't affect my fps it just stutters and stays around 45 for all settings

I don't recommend getting it pirated. We should always pay for services we get but since you don't have money right now all you can do is wait for a sale.. A demo version is available for free on steam though but it's just chapter 1 Village section. Good luck
Steam unlock is a great place to get free games. I use it all the time, I just use it as a test demo to see if I can run it properly and if I will enjoy the game before I actually buy it. The demos in games doesn't really show all the feature to enjoy with so I just use that. But you can also just play games but it does take forever to download if you don't have a e cord.

Thank you that shadow cashe setting you mentioned really helped, now I'm getting aroudn 60FPS on my RTX 2070 Super at 3440x1440 with FidelityFX at Quality mode, man I wish the game had DLSS tho since it tends to look and perform way better on Nvidia cards
I have an idea for a better looking and better FPS combo for this game as something is wrong with FSR for sure. I am working on it. Will update with a video if I found something

Assuming you haven't finished the game yet, you should lookup the DLSS mod. If you do, then when you're on the Nexus page for it, check the comments n read the pinned one.

For me it's well and good but to show people what to expect from their hardware it's a bit old. Also due to recent bad ports trend I must say that we need some overpowered PCs. Sad but reality..
