This started happening after a certain patch. There is no solution to this problem but it is mitigatable. Just don't press any keyboard or mouse button until the Nucleus COOP has loaded both instances. It might take more than 3 tries to get it working but once it works it works. We still play the game co op so I can tell you it works till date

hello, I was wondering if you already did the modding on Throne and liberty. Really need some fps boost on my old gpu :( I'm running on rtx 3060

I don't have that game but let me tell you the way. If you are on steam then just go to the game in Library and right click on it. This will have an option to manage and open the game install location. This folder is the exact folder where the executable file is. It does not necessarily need to be in a dx12 folder and this is why you were having trouble! Let me know if you need more help. Also you can google the game exe file location and you will find one guide atleast that tells you where the main game file is. You just need to paste other files in same location!

@@cyisacatnip375 When confused paste in both. It won't harm anything as they are extras and just ignored by game when not utilised. This is a rule of thumb so you can use this in other games too for this mod atleast

@@cyisacatnip375 I haven't as I don't own the game but if you are struggling with FPS then install MSI afterburner and monitor the stats when playing game. For example if VRam is getting filled then you will have lots of stuttering and this is when you should reduce texture settings in game. This is a good start. DLSS ultra performance, texture reduction both help with vram. Also try low settings and see if that raises above your fps requirements. If yes then gradually change every single setting and have a look at fps. Some settings like shadows don't improve much but are GPU intense so turing those bit down can help tremendously!

It's just for the patch to do its things. Generally signatures are needed to verify the source only but installations are locked behind UAC which is user account control asking for permission. So nothing serious can be done as long as we don't allow it. I have been using it for a while and many others around the globe and I haven't heard of anything going wrong. Be comfortable and leave it disabled 🤌

In which game you are trying and which GPU you have?

Yes the Ram is also low to begin with. Let me tell you if you upgrade the Ram then you will not only have more ram benifits but your CPU will also benifit from Dual channel ram which is basically free bandwidth upgrade for laptop. Also please if you could (if you are going to keep laptop for atleast 3 to 4 more years) consider upgrading to 32 GB ram as Ram is cheaper and more ram is even cheaper than you think. I mean 32 GB will not cost you double of 16 GB but few more bucks. Also increasing the resale value for you. I am asking for it because I am seeing more games going north of 16 GB and your discrete GPU also gets benefit by increased Ram pool. But before you do also look at my other video where I talk about .oving game to SSD and increasing virtual memory size. This can help with those stutters. Also closing as many apps you can does help a little too

Seems like I may need to upgrade after all, will consider going straight to 32GB, as you recommended, as I do plan to keep my current laptop for a while still. I was considering upgrading to SSD, as well, too. Just need to save up first, as both upgrades are a bit pricey for me at the moment, haha. Once again, thank you for the help!

Ha ha for sure windows 10 is more stable to date but believe me there is just more optimization than going back. Your setup might be facing something or your programs may be consuming more vram in windows 11 and this game is really sensitive to it. Yes this should work for any game that has DLSS 3

Frames for fullupdate to 5 or 10 for more smoothness and poolsize to 4096.

@@DorkHole-v1e This version has another universal mod that if used even in newer games then it guarantee nearly 90 percent of time it will work. Also the game needs to support DLSS3 in the first place to begin with..

Yeah I have not seen it personally where DLSS is defeated by FSR. DLSS does reign supreme for me at least.

It could be due to the fact that every one knows 2.25 is better and only few think it is worth trying 1.75X mode. For me it's tech comparison and a point where if we could fool our eyes with 1.75X only then why waste additional power on 2.25X. I believe there are people who have this thought process and for those I made those comparisons..

@@Indie1Up_Tech_Gaming True, but one of the reasons might be that UA-camrs are usually showing this DLDSR feature in 4090 video cards and they just don't even bother and care that the audience have lower end video cards and their games might not run as good in 2.25x but in 1.75x they can afford to enable, so audience also have a reason and interest if 1.75x is worth for their user case.

I personally don't make handlers but why do you want me to make one when there is already one that works out there. Facing some kind of trouble with the current one?

For the 2000 series and 3000 series only. Although there is a DLSS mod for 1650 too but I haven't tried it personally so I cannot comment on it. But its worth looking into it.

No never mod games for online play. Bans are unforgiving. You may try lossless scaling frame generation although these add latency and are detrimental to fast paced games where accuracy is key.

@@PokeDazePS3 There are two locations where the game .exe file is located (File with which you launch the game). Place the mod files in both the folders and it will work.

@@DanDanDan-c2w the redistributables are in 32 bit also. You need to install those too even if your OS is 64 bit. I cannot confirm this would be the issue but yes begin from here. Also check other videos covering the exact issue or forums. I have not received this error personally so I will be of little help here.

@@Darkknight9035 Yes you can write random numbers too. It's just that memory is addressed in 2 to the power of bits because of 0 and 1 as final binary calculations and that results in an even number of bits. This then converted to bytes and so on. Also 1 GB is 1024 MB and since we have space in GBs so most of these weird looking numbers are actually numeric multipliers of 1024MB. Don't worry you can use any number as you want as these sizes are in MB and doesn't affect anything in a negative way if used in non traditional way 😅

@@Darkknight9035 Depends. The higher the size more space gets allotted for textures to stream in and hence this reduces those texture pops but if this allotted space is not available then this has adverse effects. This is why compressed textures are ok rather than a stuttery gameplay. Also choose a low value where you don't notice compression. This is key in determining how you want the compromise to go in your favor.

@@LaibaLaibaeman For this go to the instance where you don't want to use a controller. Here just go to settings and then enable the controller and disable it again. You need to do this even when the game says the controller is disabled already. Don't know why but you need to do this every time you launch your games this way

This happens when you try to use mouse and click something when game instances are loading. Let them load and then try playing the game. Second crash occurs when you try to minimize the game after it's launched. Do everything you need to before launching the game.. Lastly a random crash occurs or wifi disconnect occurs rendering the second instance to close in between. This is random and cannot be addressed by us. This bug came after a patch and needs to be seen by developer team. If this happen then just try again and again. After few tries it will work for sure..

@@McRaydaD00kmonster sure let me know how it goes. Also there is a mod for frame generation too if you are using nvidia 2000 series or 3000 series GPU. Do try that out as it increases gameplay ability substantially! That video is on my channel too.

@@Luminous_420 If this is happening which has happened to me too then this is the work of firewall. You need to disable the firewall or add access for Borderlands. In my case even if I add access for Borderlands it didn't work for me so I just disabled my AVG firewall when I played. Also sometimes even after doing this step it won't connect. The reason being if we just go to lan settings and put the connection to lan and press the ESC button on the keyboard the settings get reverted to default. There you must make sure this doesn't happen and use the mouse cursor to just go to the main menu options and then select play game. This thing only happens when on the main screen and trying to change the connection. Lastly some times it just doesn't connect for some weird reason and we just try to connect instances from both side. Do it like this 1) try to connect instance two to instance number one and it won't work. 2) now do the opposite of step 1. This will also not work 3) repeat step 1. This should magically work now. I really don't know why it behaves like this but it works for us that way. Also if nothing works out then just relaunch the whole thing from scratch. Begin with closing all games and nucleus and relaunch Nucleus and repeat all steps. It should work! May you see the grace of split screen with your friend 😇

@@Luminous_420 In my case when you launch the game first instance gets online and then at the moment second instance loads completely first one goes offline somewhere in process. This is why it's advisable for instance 2 to connect with the instance 1. I have another video in which you launch the instances with the help of the sandboxie app. This one might work for you. I don't remember doing that for Borderlands 3 but I did that for tiny Tina wonderlands. It's the same process with which you can play for Borderlands 3 too. My friend and I used to play with that only it's a bit tough to launch and play..

@@Indie1Up_Tech_GamingHey man great video, sadly I’m having the same issue with being able to connect over lan, I’ve turned the firewall off and tried connecting to player 2 but I get search failed or continuous loading. Anything else you can advise doing? Is it possible the handler is out dated?

@@Samv769 There is no such mod for nvidia GPUs. But if you have a Variable Refresh Rate panel and with HDMI connection nvidia natively supports Gsync on it via Gsync compatible. Other than that nothing for nvidia sadly..

@@Samv769 You can modify its range with this software but make sure to check for screen blanking issues. If you observe those then increase the minimum range and check again. Try by decreasing the minimum range by 10 Hz and if it didn't worked for like even 80 then it won't work for 70 too..

You don't replace then just paste the files. Normally there is yet another folder with these files and exe file of main game too. Yes two exe files of the game but in different folder. Now which one launches the game cannot be just found with our limited means but to be safe we can paste at both the places. Just go ahead and without replacing try it by just pasting as is and see if it works. Or try forums or reddit for this game as I personally don't have it..

@@regime1879 Well in that case try lossless scaling app. It's a few bucks on steam but it's universal and works pretty great. I also have a video on it. It's dated now as the app has been updated after that to include 3x frame generation too! Do check it out for like 2 hours it's free anyway on steam as you can refund it if you don't like it!

@@mostafaa.elkareem9802 With 4050 it's just easy to manage in game but with 3050 you just need to make a few more efforts. That's it, quality remains the same and there is one more app if in case mods don't work. It's called Lossless scaling app on steam for a few dollars. It's ridiculously useful for its price and works on every game even older ones!

@@mostafaa.elkareem9802 These mods will work and maybe in future they will be made even easier. For example the latest version of mods even reduce ghosting normally found in original version of frame generation. So basically we are getting perfected version for our older cards! So you will be good for many years to come AND these are not fake 😅

@@TheOneMatt91 there are multiple options in this app now since it's updated multiple times after this video. Some reasons could be you are using performance mode of frame generation and that does not consist of blur reduction patches. There are several modes like DXGI WCG and their own performance and drop-down options which you need to check which particular combination works the best for you. You also must not be using an older software that is not aware of frame generated frames! This could be really bad. Also 30 FPS itself can be blamed here. One more thing is that you can disable motion blur or such options in-game that could interfere with frame generation at lower FPS numbers. Let me know if I could be of any further help.

@@nosswel778 you are using multiple monitors? If not then it's not known to me. You can try to visit settings of nucleus co OP and there is a setting that changes scaling of DPI. Also make sure you have 100 percent scaling on desktop settings and not 125 or 150. This mess up things sometimes. Otherwise it sounds like a rare issue to me.. May be a bit more description can open further investigations..

@@themasteredcta Once patched you can launch it from steam. Only when there are multiple .exe files present in a certain game in a different folder and when steam tries to launch a different file than what we patched, this is when steam launching won't work. Other than that you should always try to launch from steam as usual.

@@themasteredcta If you didn't notice an improvement in motion smoothness then it could be due to fact you were already having close to your monitor Hz limit FPS. Check that otherwise the feature may not be working. It works like wonder and I cannot describe or do justice to that in a youtube video!

@@Indie1Up_Tech_Gaming Well, you were right. The game was already running at 75Hz, which is the maximum my monitor allows. I'm starting to think that probably the problem is that I only have 16GB of RAM.

@@themasteredcta Yeah 16 GB ram has starting to become basic entry level and 24 to 32 GB are recommended ones now. How times have changed..
