@JCSell traveling for a good ride is always on the table. I'll keep that in mind! I've only ever ridden the Conotton trail and the Western Reserve Greenway trail as far as Ohio goes

Nice video. I like the style and commentary. My only suggestion, and it’s more of a preference because I’m sitting in my arm chair while you do the hard work lol is to not film in portrait mode. Prefer landscape. But I accept the work you need to do with filming while cycling so I’m not complaining. I saw you with Mat Ryder too. Nice work.

We just finished riding from DC to Pittsburgh on October 15th. It looks like you were either before or after us as our last 2 days were rainy and cold.
@BikingBeyondBoundaries yes it took us 7 days, and the weather was great on the C&O. We ran into the same headwind when we left Cumberland. That was a hard day with the climb and headwinds.
Sorry to hear you missed it. You do it every year? That's awesome. I definitely want to do it again, especially in this direction. I thought it was way more fun than going from Pittsburgh to Cumberland.
@@BikingBeyondBoundaries I’m from the area, but moved South 30 years ago. I started coming back a few years ago in the fall, usually September, to ride the GAP and C&O. That usually cures my homesickness in the fall. I’ve done Cumberland to PGH on a recumbent trike and that climb was tough but fun. I actually did the exact itinerary, including lodging, that you did. I may try doing it from DC next year on 2 wheels.

My gloves are from www.handupco.com/ and they're awesome. Super comfortable and I love their designs. For my cycling gear, my bibs are from aerotechdesigns.com/ and I can't recommend them enough. Super comfortable and I can ride for hours in them. They have a big and tall section. My jersey's are from fatladattheback.com/ and they're decent, but I'm probably going to soon splurge for some from aerotech since I'm so happy with their bibs.
