This man held up the wwe and world championships with his legitimate real life best friend to end wrestlemania 20. After all of this happened to him. That's still one of the coolest moments in wrestling to me.
My favorite shoot interview. A lot of them consist of old timers screaming and being bitter towards others in the business for 2+ hours. However, Eddie doesn’t do that here. Instead, he takes accountability for his actions inside and outside the ring. Even though he voices some of his frustrations over certain things, he doesn’t harp on it too much. When talking about being called a “vanilla midget”, he acknowledges that some of that was true (even though he had a charisma just look at his run w/ Art Barr for example and wasn’t really given a fair shot in WCW). Also, he’s very gracious over the things that have happened to him. He enjoys telling his stories and comes across as a genuine person throughout the interview. RIP Eddie 🇲🇽🇺🇸
Am I the only one who loved Eddie in WCW? He was vanilla as a face, but I loved him as a greasy haired heel. I don't know why everyone says he didn't get a fair shake there. He didn't win the World Heavyweight Title, but back then _everyone_ wasn't basically entitled to at least one world championship like today. Well, Russo era aside. Regardless of all that, I was there for his entire run, and I thought it was awesome as it was happening. I don't get the dissatisfaction over the fact that it wasn't, y'know, totally perfect. It was still awesome.
When I was a kid in the early 2000's I saw Eddie at a Carl's Jr in Fresno Ca. The WWE was in town for a show and he was just trying to get some lunch when a huge crowd formed. He was kind and gracious with everyone taking time to sign autographs and take pictures. I had always admired him as a wrestler but that day I became a lifelong fan, RIP Eddie.
Watching this, you can see just why everybody who knew him, loved him. Real chill and down to earth guy, fun to talk with. Obviously he's probably even better than what we see here, as it's not a "personal" relationship, but man just from these almost 2 hours alone you can see how special he was. Absolute legend. Gone WAY TOO EARLY. Should still be around now in some capacity, RIP.
Me too. This is one of the most emotional shoot interviews from RF Video. Too bad Eddie didn't do another shoot interview for RF Video. RIP Eddie Guerrero. 😢
Its sad and insane that he only lived 4 more years after this. It seemed like Eddie was around a lot much longer after this. Its a testament to how incredible of a performer he was and how big of an impact he had. RIP Eddie Gurrero🙏🏼
This is a great interview. I love Eddie's honesty , yet respects others in explaining situations. Man, I can only imagine on what his interviews would be like today, he seemed so wise then with years past he would have alot to say. RIP EDDIE
He speaks of Vickie as soon to be his ex wife. This was when Vickie got fed up with his drinking and drug abuse, and asked for a divorce. But then Eddie kicked out all of his addictions, got sober and then got back with Vickie. He remained sober till his death. So much respect for him. I love you, Eddie! RIP!
Well educated, humble and carries himself like a modest man. Would have never expected him to be this way outside the ring right? BENDITO SEA LA SANTA LUCHA! THANK GOD FOR WRESTLING! 4:51 THIS IS ART.
Watching him here and on TV is like two different people. I get that he was playing a character, but he sounds so timid and a little shy here. To be able to flip a switch and become a hated wrestling persona is a talent that doesn't come around too often. Add that on top of all the stories of Eddie being selfless and doing so much for other people, it's a shame he got taken away so soon.
Wrestlemania 20 which was one of the best events in wwe history. Had the best moment in WWE history aswell when eddie walked to the ring to hug Benoit. Right after Benoit Won the World Heavyweight in the triple threat match against Triple H & Shawn Michael's. Right at the center of the ring with confetti falling. That's when Benoit brought his kids into the ring. Anyway that's a moment for those of us who experienced it at the moment. As younger kids will probably never know about it
I love Eddie & his family, will forever be one of my top five all time wrestlers and appreciate the heck out of what he did for well really the whole family did for pro wrestling. As a big fan Thank you to the Guerrero's and especially eddie and R.I.P to eddie Chavo Sr and their father Gory Guerrero.
Eddie Guerrero is 1 of the most Humane and down to Earth Pro. Wrestlers I've gotten to known. He really became a shining example of Randy Savage's iconic "the Cream always rises to the top" line. His sincerity and charisma are 2 things I highly respect about Eddie, and I know his Legacy will outlive a lot of us. "A man dies when he is forgotten" - Dr. Hiriluk
I don't know why, but this feels like watching the wrestling equivalent to the Kurt Cobain WatchMojo 1993 interview video. They kinda have the same mannerisms and aoft spoken nature. Maybe it's just a "born in 1967" thing 😂
LOL! Mainly it’s because Rob Feinstein (this interviewer) was doing the majority of shoots during this time period (2001-2002). Thankfully there are a lot better interviewers now!
The more time that passes the more we all miss Eddie and the more we all realize that he's the most entertaining wrestler we have seen, nobody has come close since and nobody ever will.
Wow no wonder Dominik mullet hairstyle with that stupid mustache looks familiar, I almost forgot Eddie looked like this in his WCW days and early 2000s in WWE
Rob Feinstein was always such a terrible interviewer lol. Immediately after Eddie explains that Chyna was hard to work with, Rob asks him if the rumors of her being hard to work with were true.
“Vince is a professional, he’s a businessman 100%. I got nothing to say bad about the man.” I could see the trepidation in eddie’s eyes when he said that. 😂
@cvv, Your interviews are the best available right now. I hope years from now, we can look back at your current interviews and really get insight on the true person beyond the wrestler/superstar as we see in this interview.

Very well said. He's also extremely humble. 💯
Rest in peace Eddie Guerrero. One of the best wrestler's to ever step in a wrestling ring.

Getting to know this Eddie. Makes me appreciate the Eddie in the ring. #LWO por vida!

After this interview took place.. eddie make his return to wwe. Became world heavyweight champion and got his redemption with the fans and his family

Eddie along with guys like Angle, HBK, etc...could do it all. Wrestling ability, athleticism, acting skills, got over as a heel and a babyface
I would of loved to see an extended fued between HBK and Eddie.
Man Rest In Peace 😢

Transparency And Accountability 💯
I miss Eddie. One of the true greats. I've been a fan since I first saw him in ecw. Him an dean. Some of the absolute best matches ever wrestled
Who are you to doubt the influence of El Dandy
Lmao I was thinking the same thing when Eddie mentioned him
He's a jam up guy!
Dandy super leyenda!
Bret hart acknoledge him
I miss Eddie, he was one of a kind. There are many imitators but they couldn't lace his boots.
This is GOLD
Hell yea!! 🙌
Back in the day wrestling interviews were like an interrogation. Now they are like conversations.

He's so well spoken. Dom rocking his haircut, thanks for posting.
Funny his wrestling character had him talking like an east la cholo but the real guy is nothing like that.
Was just gonna mention that. I really thought Eddie had a Chicano/Mexican accent.
Was uploaded ago 3 days ago...wish it was shot 3 days ago 😢
He’s dead get over it

Alright. Plan on watching this straight through beginning to end now.
Basically 24 years ago this interview took place. Wow.
22 years since it was recorded in 2002
Eddie guerrero is top 3 all time forever. Benoit is also on that list. Hbk is numero three-o incase u were wondering.
Kurt Angle
Talented in the ring yea but Benoit didn’t have any charisma or mic skills. Don’t praise a child-woman murderer
I will also add Bret Hart and Randy Savage in top 10
The best shoot period praise be to God ❤
He did end up going back to wwe and he did fucking great
Wow no wonder Dominik mullet hairstyle with that stupid mustache looks familiar, I almost forgot Eddie looked like this in his WCW days and early 2000s in WWE
