  • This is how I do guide wraps. This is not the end all way. You may have a better idea, if you do share it with me. Hopefully this will help other new rod builders get started. Any ideas and suggestions will be appreciated. Just remember, that if your trying, your going to get better. Always have fun and don't make it a job!

you probably dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my girlfriend during the lockdown =)

What type wrapper do you use?

It is an American Tackle from Mudhole. I have the Alps upgraded chuck that getbitoutdoors sells. Don't upgrade the standard plastic chuck to there aluminum one, not worth it. You could just buy the Alps version with the chuck from getbit. The base is all the same, only the thread carriage is different. My thread carriage was bought through a facebook site, its ok.

@@jermeeuropa9986 Al Engling makes the thread carriage. You can find him on Face Book.

@@jonramos2161 I did got one this year and also a few yellow orings for my standard stands and a large yellow oring for the Alps chuck and some yellow 3D printed knobs for my stands as well. I haven't done much rods with the carriage yet but I do like it tho!
