Hi! Thank you so much for your story! It really helped. I am 59 and was recently diagnosed with RA and I had the same symptoms you have had. It all started in my feet years ago not knowing it was RA. I work in the electrical field and work on concrete alot. So I thought it was just that. Feet sore after a long day at work. But recently I had problems with my hands and fingers. So I went the doctor nurse practioner and he did blood test and it came back positive for rheumatoid. Thank you so much for your story and to here mine!
You described your initial symptoms of RA perfectly ... Mine were identical - it felt like I'd done a strenuous workout the day before every morning when I woke up. It's inspiring to see you're tackling this illness head-on and giving hope and encouragement to others with the same diagnosis. I see this video is 6 years old, but I hope you're still doing very well. I look forward to watching more of your videos 💜🤍
Thanks for sharing, I've been diagnosed in September 2011, it's been tough but having support really helps... a lot of ppl don't understand the pain that comes wit flair ups 😞 I hope that one day Everyone can understand
I agree with you. Having a 'silent' illness is very tough. It is hard to educate people that you are truly sick sometimes even if you don't look like it. I hope you're doing well. :)
I am 25 years old and I was diagnosed with Polyarticular Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at age 11 and I am really sad because I have color in me and I am dreading a diagnosis of Lupus. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I have other disabilities like Cerebral Palsy and shunts and Osteonecrosis and Osteoarthritis.
Having Rheumatoid Arthritis was the end of he world for me and carrying it for another 4years was hell despite all the medication I was taking. But Dr Oyalo from UA-cam channel helped me with his herbal cure and now I am free nd negative. He too can do yours as well
It's heartbreaking to see young persons suffering with RA. I mean how can a young person *NOT* overdo anything? It's human nature to exert ourselves. Thank you for sharing your journey.
I was 7 years old when I got Rheumatoid arthritis over 21 year now with it hip replacement with further needing. had heart issues kidney issues liver issue. I fall over every day from joints giving out. I am so tierd daily but medication helps to a point but also makes other issues. it's a life long issue but I don't know anything else as I have had it all my life. good luck with your journey
+Simply Christi thanx mate I'm happy with life its just a bit different to others and the great medical system in Australia. due this winter for my ankel joint to be fused I'm looking forward to having normal feet again. I hope you are well and not in too much pain.
Donna My mother was the same, but nine years older than you, when she first suffered. She died just over a decade back at a ripe old age, but her hands, arms, feet and legs were constantly bandaged the last twenty or so years,, which, she said, helped with her balance issues.
Emerald Stacia Try CBD oil for pain relief...it's natural and you won't get 'high' as it doesn't contain the HTC ingredient, nor will you suffer side effects.
Honey your story breaks my heart! There is hope!! There is a product that has helped so many people!! email me at truehope4us@yahoo.com I promise you it is not some crazy snake oil & I'm not trying to sale you anything!
I am so happy that you test positive for the RH Factor. I have had ALL of the systems of RA since I was about twenty years old. I have never tested positive for the RA factor so they will not put me on a treatment plan. I have been in pain on a daily bases since I was about 27 years old. This is when the burning system started in me knees during a flair up. At this point both knees are bone on bone, but they will not replace my knees because I can not straighten either of my knees. I have arthritis in every joint of my body. I have degenerative arthritis in my knees and lower back. I am just so glad you tested positive and they listen to you. I do not want any other person to be my age( only 52) and have the body of a ninety year old. I think more channels like this need to be out there to inform the public that not on RA patients with test positive for the RA factor.
Thank you so very much for this! Ra is hell, it's a real life changer for me as a professional musician. But I'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel, thanks for putting a face on this struggle.
For RA, diet modification is vital to treat the root cause: "Leaky gut." Dietary modification: Remove ALL grains from the diet, remove grains, added sugar, dairy products, eggs, nightshade plants (tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, etc), nuts, especially peanuts and seeds (peanuts are seeds and not true nuts), caffeine, and alcohol. It is challenging but doable with great results.
@@aliciaangel9219 I was diagnosed recently. The doctor have prescribe some meds but still my joints have cracking noise and i am having pain in hands and legs. Sometimes i feel muscles are senseless.
Thank you for sharing your story. I just got my lab work back, and I have been diagnosed with RA. Waiting to meet with the rheumatologist. The pain is terrible, but I know now there are things I can do to help. Take care!
Thank you for talking about your RA. I should be sleeping right now but can't because of severe pain in my hand and shoulder, and it's soothing to hear stories of others who are dealing with it. I am on a cocktail of Plaquenil, Sulfasalzine, and Methotrexate. It seems I can go for a few weeks to a month with hardly any pain then I'll hit a couple week stretch where I am in immense pain in one joint or another (it moves to a different place every day). I'll take Prednisone once in a while but try hard not to do so, even though I wish I could just take it every day because it really does work magic! My first symptom was that my right ankle felt like it was sprained all the time but looking back I did have severe pain in other joints as well, just thought I was getting old (I'm now 57). Anyway thanks again and keep up the good fight.
Thanks for visiting! I am sorry you were having a rough night when you wrote this. I've been offline for a while. How are you feeling lately? Cocktail....I so wish that word meant a fun drink with an umbrella to all the RA patients out there, but it is unfortunately a new definition we have to get used to. Isn't it funny how once you find out what is going on you start realizing the symptoms you tried to talk yourself out of before? This has really taught me to listen to my body. Thanks for your comment!
I read these comments and ot brings tears to my eyes. My mum got ra last year and seeing her suffer is so so painful. Things that she is planning and has done. No dairy No meat No gluten Gentle exercise Warmth Ayuveda treatment.

Hi Christi, I’m 64 and was diagnosed with RA 10 years ago. My first symptoms were hand pain, foot pain and fatigue. I’m on Plaquenil as well and only an occasional pain medication. Cleaning up my diet has helped a lot for me. I was a sugar addict and that is one of the worst things for any autoimmune disease. I love warm epsom salt baths and meditation. Yoga has been helpful too but I have to improvize with many of the poses. Still movement is always good. I don’t have pain so much as general soreness like I’ve overdone a workout. But I do have a lot of stiffness. Thanks for your video and wishing you continued health! ❤️
I'm glad to see there are so many of us I was in HS when I was diagnosed and started my channel back in 2014, but am finally getting it up and running. I'm so happy to see so many more stories.
+Rheumi Warrior Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis WOW! I have looked at all of your stuff! Thanks for stopping by. Glad to share this journey with others who understand it as well! :)
After 15 years of fibromyalgia, and 8 years of "undifferentiated connective tissue disease" diagnosis, I finally had an RA diagnosis this year. I'm not finding that info online either so I'm glad I found your channel.
Thanks for finding me! I haven't been as active lately...more on that to come in new content soon I hope. I hope you're starting to feel better than that you're on targeted therapy for RA (I hope you are anyway). :)
Simply Christi I just found this vid. You did an amazing job and I hope that you are well! I have RA & Crohn's, the RA is comorbid but is actually the one that is out of remission...weird, huh? Lol I hope to see more vid updates! ☺Gby!
interesting points ,if anyone else is searching for do i have rheumatoid arthritis try Debuncar Arthritis Treatment Aid (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my colleague got amazing success with it.

I tried Prednisone and after 3 days on a 40 mg 12 day taper I went from being unable to move my hands to feelings sooo much better! I know long term that is not a permanent fix it is a short term med not to take regularly but to have relief is amazing. Thanks for responding!

OMG I have been looking for a group/community since being diagnosed September of 2011. I was 32at the time and luckily working for a Dr. , but still was having such a hard time finding someone that would understand what I was going through. I'm very thankful to find your page.
I was just diagnosed after covid, it only started with my knee, I went for an exray and they said am all good, but the pain keept on going unto it started to affect my toes, my hands. I ended up doing blood test and it came positive. But my body was starting to be very painful and it went straight to my heart. I am now taking medication from greenworld and it's helping me alot
Hi Christi, Thank you for sharing your story. It is sad to see people like you, who are so young that suffer from this goofy disease. I was diagnosed in 2012 and last year I applied for disability. I am 50, and just from the little you shared it is apparent to me that I had the disease for years before I received a diagnosis. By sharing your story I think you can help so many people to listen to their body and get a diagnosis. I believe an early diagnosis will increase a person's chances for constructively combating Rheumatoid Disease.
Jewels Weaver Thank you so much for commenting. That comment helps inspire me to keep sharing and hoping it reaches others. I do think that early detection is very critical but I also think that I am very lucky to not have advanced disease yet. How was it applying for disability? I've heard that it can be quite a struggle getting everything together. Thanks again for commenting and have a great weekend. :)

I just found your channel, and I'm glad I did. I was diagnosed when I was 21 similar symptoms as you had, I'm now 40 my fingers are all twisted/ slanted, my feet basically have no bone left in them, and now I'm on the verge of osteoporosis due to the prednisone, as for my Meds I'm on 25 tabs a day and an injection once a month, so it's great to find your channel, as it's good to see what others go through and only know what its like
+MrPninja I am so sorry to learn of your diagnosis journey and struggles. I am so thankful that we can all connect and get to a place where we feel we have a community of people. Have a good week! :)
Thank you so much for sharing. I was recently diagnosed with RA. I also live alone with my dog. Methotrexate was the first drug tried after prednisone. What a nightmare! I see my rheumatologist again after the first of the year and until then am focusing on healthy eating, gentle exercise, and continuing the prednisone. I've subscribed to you channel. So nice to know there are others who truly understand. Take care!
I would be one who would argue that you don't really live alone. ;) I do consider my doggies family members though. :) Thanks for your comments and for visiting. I hope to post more content soon.

Stopping by in 2021. Thanks for making this video. I have been living with rheumatoid arthritis for 17 years. I always use to crack my fingers as a kid, and they say that (myth) it could cause arthritis...well...

This is my story. I was only 42 year old when I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am now 47 years old. It all started to come into light. My left knee was bothering me so I decided to see my nurse -practioner. First they did an x-ray of my left knee and with those results it warranted a MRI of my left knee. Well the results said I had a torn meniscus in my left knee. So my nurse practioner sent to see an orthopedic doctor and he did the procedure that was back in March of 2010. I felt wonderful full function of my knee and no pain. But after 5 months after meniscus surgery, I thought my torn it again. But that was not the case. The left knee was becoming more painful. My nurse practioner did some blood work on me; she looked for lupus, Lyme diseases they were searching for. My nurse practioner sent me to see a Rheumatologist and with the bloodwork states that I have an autoimmune disease called rheumatoid arthritis. I was shocked that I had this. I knew on my mother side of the family had RA, MS, and arthritis of the joints finding out I had to do research on RA. Putting pieces together of my past medical history, when I was a teenager my blood vessels in my eyes would rupture for no apparent reason at that time. Years later diagnosed with pleurisy. No doctor had connected the dots with past diagnosis i have had. In Fast forward, I have had 6 orthopedic surgeries of what RA has done to my body. I will need a left knee replacement soon. I have gone through biologics and RA medication methotrexate, Enbrel, rutixan, remicade, xeljanz, Plaquenil, sulfasalazine. And right now I am on Orencia. I have now a nodule on right hand pinky finger. My hands and feet and constantly swollen. Every morning my fingers are stiff and swollen. It is taking me longer to do things that I normally did. I am very fatigued on a daily basis. Right now I am taking pain medicine but I might have to take a higher dose or something stronger than what I am taking. Every day is a struggle.
Ruth Pohl My suggestion on pain relief? Try steer clear of the opiate range of painkillers. They, as you can imagine, are highly addictive. I'm extremely fortunate, in that I quit them after three weeks without being weaned off them and suffered no side effects. My doctor was furious, but as I pointed out, they did little for the actual pain...I just didn't give a damn about the pain, because I was out of my face high.
Hi, Im 19 and I've just been diagnosed with RA and carpel tunnel. Having a couple surgeries for the CT within the next few months but will deal with RA for the rest of my life. So hard to find people who know how im feeling or anyone anywhere close to my age with the condition. So nice to have another young person understand how i feel :)
Hi. First of all, thanks for saying I'm young! Hahaha. I know how you feel. It is very difficult to explain people especially when you're younger and most of the people your age haven't encountered any health issues yet. I too experienced CT. I'll likely be making a video about it soon...How were your surgeries? Did you have both done?

Thanks share you story on RA. I was also diagnose of RA after took my blood test in the clinic. I was complaining ankle pain on and off. My hubby thought is symptom of gout. So doctor cannot simply give medicine without getting the blood test. I was very sad diagnose of RA when doctor confirmed to me on 23-3-19. Doctor advise to do more often on the exercise. Let the joint really work out. Till now I’m still follow up things what should I take for food then..due to my research till now 5 things cannot take for food then 1. Diary product 2. Liquor 3. Meat 4. Wheat products 5. Coffee. So many things could not take for the food. I’m lucky because I’m half vegan no meat and Muslim no liquor but still taking fish which is good for RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis). I add my supplement in vitamins also like vitamin C, evening pilgrim rose, fish capsule omega 3 and garlic too.. For now my ankle relieve a bit better then last time.. feel so frustrated coz I cannot eat anymore my chocolate then. That few days really myself like up and down due to the pain in ankle, hopefully it’s work for me. I do my morning walk everyday for at least 45 min in my condo. Yoga is my bed time therapy before going to sleep. So far my ankle pain is reducing then. RA is to avoid the inflammation in the body. So the foods especially fruits and veggies are the healing food for inflammation. I’m trying to bring my weight down also at the age of 52 now. I know not easy to loose weight.. avoid night seed veggies to like potato, capsicum, tomato which can create more inflammation to the joint in the body. Hope it’s really work then..
I'm 23, and was diagnosed at 22. Since then I've gone down hill to the point where I'm practically home bound. I am now a fall risk, I'm using a wheelchair, I'm always in pain. I was one of the rare people that had it start in my organs. My heart and my GI and liver. The all over pain. I'm on plaquenil and another medication. Anti inflammatory stuff doesn't work, nothing works.
Oh man. I am so sorry to hear this. I have heard that RA can impact the organs as well as the joints. That would be very very painful. What are your favorite mood lifters lately?
I have just read and very grateful. I'm much older than yourself but after months of joint pain (usually improved during the day) my feet were worst and as you described. Then last week, I had a massive flare and my hands are severely affected, as are my arms, shoulders and neck. Daily tasks now very difficult and my extreme fatigue much worse. We are still in the time of pandemic and here in UK doctors are not working normally. It may be very hard to get tests etc. Worrying, as I can no longer work as a carer plus I know prompt start of medication is important. Tomorrow (first normal working day after Easter 2021, I will attempt to obtain a video chat with my doctor, but don't hold out much hope. Even patients with cancer symptoms are not being seen and deaths are happening as a result. Its a scandal.
The NHS has always been pretty slow. I think pre covid the number of preventable deaths due to waiting times and so on were around 40k people a year if i remember correctly from a thinktank
Hi there, i was diagnosed w/RA 3 yrs ago, but i believe i had it much longer, anyway i also have been researching all kinds of ways to make the horrific pain go away, and i came in contact w/so many other people suffering from RA, and their advice is give up dairy!! I gave up dairy, the 1st week i was feeling better!!!!! You do not need dairy in your diet or red meat, look into it. Good luck to you!!
+tjgaters Thanks for the tip! I agree. I cut out most dairy about 1.5 years ago. A bit of ice cream and cheese here and there but for the most part its all out of my kitchen! Thanks for the advice. :)
Thanks 4 the birthday message, that's very sweet of u!! I did celebrate last night, I didn't take all my pills so I could drink afew vodka and Pepsi's!!! Very naughty I know!! U only turn 30 once right. I am feeling the pain abit today but I'll get over it!! Thanks again for replying it's nice to have someone to talk to and gets the problems we both face. Take care Thanks again 😀
I can so relate to your story, especially the getting out of bed and feel like you were walking on rocks... mine were rocks made of sharp glass.... listening to the meds - I could have gone and gotten the same ones from my cabinet. It wasn't until I was nearly at the end that I realized you had not found the same product I had! Some of my fingers are still out of shape, but the swelling has decreased - some of the other fingers had started but have gone back to normal size. I am now off all my prescription medications, except one for heartburn (GERD) - and take only one herbal pill a day - all natural :)
Christi, I've just subscribed. I can't see a date for this video so don't know how long ago it was posted. I'm in the UK and also have RA in many joints. Its currently hitting my life hard, I've already lost a job I'd had. 8 years and loved so much as I was just unable to do it with RA and the medication.Thankfully I have a supportive husband,my friends have already gone their own way now when they realized RA doesn't go away like a bad cold.,Loved your video, hope there are more:) thumbs up!!
Jules H Hi there! I am so sorry to hear of your trials. I sure hope that your support system continues to keep you lifted in all the ways they possibly can. Please let me know if there are specific types of videos you'd like to see. I'm working on juggling a new work and personal life with this channel so more advice on what would be helpful to you is always helpful to me. :) Thank you so much for subscribing. Have a great rest of the week!
Your video just popped up on RA and I wanted to ask you if you’ve ever tried plexus gut health products and Ease? My husband had arthritis to where he couldn’t walk more than a couple blocks with me before he had to turn around. Now because of this product, he has been able to walk 3 to 5 miles a day no pain and has a lot more energy. Inflammation in the gut and the excess Candida yeast that we have plays a big part in the arthritis. There are a lot of products out there, and my husband tried so many of them- but nothing worked like this! It’s holistic, plant-based natural, non-GMO and I would love to send you some samples or more information!
Hi Chisty, thank you for doing this vid. I have RA and am on a drug protocol of Methotrexate/plaquenil/sulfasalazine/folic acid. I felt no relief for the first 3 months. The depression, weight gain, and inablility to dress myself, do the everyday activities was brutal to say the least! Since February of this year, I have been on an Elimination diet and for the first time I am having real relief! I am working out again ( not the way I once did, but I love the feeling of movement)..have lost 30 lbs, pain is 90% gone, depression has lifted, and all my blood markers read like someone in remission! I am stunned by the change. My next hope is to lessen the drugs I am on slowly..and then perhaps off of them entirely. I am not anti-drug, but I must realize that the drugs are so bad for me holistically. I am 54 years old and must take care to be here for my family. I hope this finds you well. I will keep an eye on your channel. Thanks again!
Debbie Dailey Thank you very much for sharing your story, Debbie. It's always nice to hear from another who is going through what you are. I'm also glad to hear that you're doing so well with your health, diet and excise. I am about to embark on a 28-day challenge utilizing Arbonne products to kick-start my weight loss again. I can't seem to get over my current hump and get it started. I'm looking forward to working out more and improving my health with this challenge and continuing it from there. I'm hoping to post another video soon. Thank you for subscribing and checking in!

Bgirl291, I can't comment on your post but I wanted to let you know I see it. It is very frustrating on some days and odd how it takes it's own form for each of us. I've had those frightening experiences as well. It makes sense now when people talk about being afraid of their own bodies. I hope you feel better soon as well. Merry Christmas!
Simply Christi Bgirl291, I'm so glad to hear you found some relief. I've used a few of my as needed prednisone these last few days myself. I agree that it's not a great long-term solution but it is so very nice to get that pick-me-up when you need it most.
+Simply Christi I followed the program and the effects are remarkable already…I have been drug-free for 3 weeks now and planning on taking it longer, when I see my rheumatologist and discuss the possibility. check their site..it may help you for sure.. go here ==> rheumatoidarthritisnew.tumblr.com
Hey Christi thanks for replying. One idea for an RA update is the joint(s) you have RA in, not about them particularly but how you've learned to adapt.. How that particular area of RA has affected your day to day living and how you've managed to cope with it, what tools, gadgets (if any) you've found that help you cope/manage and lessen any struggles. Basically how you've managed to adapt, work around the problems RA cause. Also, one other that just came to mind ... How do friends cope? Do they see you or treat you differently as you're not able to keep to arrangements made if fatigue kicks in, are they accepting of this? Have any friends drifted away because of it? Even though you still have a close support network, do you ever have tmes you still feel really lonely, just wishing you could have your life back the way it was, not the way it is now? How has having RA taught you to manage with all the changes? Have a great weekend coming, and i sincerely hope yours is as pain free as posssible. I'd hug but it may hurt one of us lol
+Jules H Thanks for the ideas! I love them all! I will add them to my list for sure! I'll accept internet hugs any day with no risk to either of us. :) Have a great long weekend.
Hello, I was diagnosed with RA when I was 42. Today at 63 I get flare up. Yoga had helped me a great deal. Just now recognizing triggers dairy. It is hard on you but you are right. There are many things you can do without medicine. I teach and by the end of the year had been really hard days. The time off and lifestyle of teaching has saved my life... i appreciate your information. Rest and soft stretched, and paying attention to myself, being more gentle with myself and not driving yourself into the ground with a schedule that about kills you is vitL to a better life..

You were fortunate to have medical professionals that actually believed you. I knew what was happening to me because I have a long family history of RA. Yet, nobody would test me for it. When I started having pain and stiffness, I was told "you're fat lose weight." On the rare occasion I could get them to do any test at all it was an ESR test which would be great if that were actually a diagnostic test for RA and if everyone in my family didn't have ESR negative RA. My fingers are so screwed up I can't straighten them out, it's to the point ley people can see it and I would go to doctors and show them my hands and they would say "what's wrong with them?" I'd point out that my fingers wouldn't straighten out and the ends were curving and they would say, oh, that's normal. I would tell them about my feet and they would say, you're probably diabetic, and test me for diabetes. To this day I don't have diabetes. At one time I convinced them to do x-rays of my hands and my back, they said there were no abnormalities found. I said, I've had scoliosis since I was eight years old so if there were no abnormalities found you're looking at the wrong x-rays. They told me I had a bad attitude and to seek mental health help.
It is a very frustrating illness. My main issues started first in my hands which no one realizes how important your hands are until you can't use them. I also have pain in my foot shoulder and knee. Then for 6 months at a time I am fine...oddly. The days that are bad are frightening. I hope I return to remission again.
+Bgirl291 I have something that may help. It did for me. It's all natural and I have been pain free for 2 months now without any drugs. If you are interested in more info. let me know. You can email me at admin@mbcginc.com
I actually just cried yesterday.. i could barely grip the pen to fill out my lab sheet. .. it dawned on me that i never appreciated the value of my hands.
I am so glad I found your video today. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis yesterday, I am waiting to find out whether it is osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. I have stiff joints in my fingers that lock up on me and they hurt a lot. Anyway, I am kinda scared cause I do not know what to expect after the final diagnosis and am not sure if I can continue with my job. I work in the retail industry unloading trucks and unpacking boxes. Any advice on what to expect?
+Amanda Benge Amanda, I am so sorry I haven't checked this until now. I hope you have some answers by now. I'd love to hear how things are going. It is very scary to be at the beginning of it. I remember wondering the same things...can I still do my job? Can I still drive? Will I be able to take care of children? There is so much that this impacts that it's only natural to be concerned. I do hope you check back in. I'd love to hear how things are going. We can go from where you are at today on what to expect next. Sound like a deal?
I'm so glad you find relief with the plaquenel.. I am on methotrexate and every four weeks, Remicade. I wish I didn't have to put these poisons into me but without them I am completely imobile. I'd like to try the Otezla someday down the road but I was just off of Remicade and mtx for 8 months due to some illnesses and a surgery and I was in MISERY and don't want to even chance feeling like that again right now. Thank you for sharing your story
amy griffin Thank you for sharing your journey. I am continually amazed at how different each of our diseases are. No wonder it is so hard to find a cure!!! I'm very happy that there are more treatment options out there so that if something fails we have options to try. It wasn't always that way. I agree with putting stuff in our bodies. It's either that or be down for the count. Thanks again for sharing! :)
exactly, I think of it this way.. Some of this junk may knock 10 years off my life but if I can't pick up my grandbabies someday or drive or walk without being in agony (if at ALL,) what kind of life is that? I actually have Psoriatic Arth which is similar but with added skin and nail problems. When the meds are working, I'm fine.. when I can not have them or they are not working, that's when I get both problems, pain and skin/nail issues. One Remicade treatment last month and I am already back in action though :) The fatigue, as you know never goes away though. Our bodies are in a constant battle.
Hi Christi, How are you now? I want to share my experience.. I got RA when I was only 14 year old.. I am 27 now... I got cured by methotrexate.. Sulfasazine.. Folic tablets and regular exercise.. After that I suffered again at the age of 19 and 22.. I learnt that whenever I was following bad food habits and not doing exercise.. I got RA again.. Now I am doing well.. I do regular exercise.. I am not taking any medicine and following balanced diet. Sometimes it aches in my left hip.. Then I start taking calcium tablets.. It gets cured.. I go for routine checkup to my RA doctor every 6 months... I hope it will help other arthritis patients.. Thank you.
Hello, first off, thank you so much for sharing your story! I just found out that I might have RA. I tested positive for Sjögren's anti-ss-b during routine bloodwork, waiting until Feb. 2016 to meet with a specialist, and a lot of the symptoms you mentioned are familiar. My joints pop all the time, Im weak after waking up, standing for any length of time absolutely kills me, and the weather aggrivates my joints, and swelling is kind of a daily deal. Hearing your story is very inspiring because this is a scary thing to deal with on your own. What sort of test did your rheumatologist preform on you? I'm not sure what to expect.
+Rachel Lopez Happy Thanksgiving, Rachel! I hope you have a good holiday. I am sorry to hear that you're going through this. While I don't like anyone to be diagnosed it is so wonderful that we have each other. At my first rheumatology appointment I spent about an hour with the PA getting every joint assessed. He checked for swelling, mobility and movement. They want to chart how many joints and where the joints are that are part of the disease. Then I had about 16 tubes of blood drawn (not kidding)...don't be scared of that though. They wanted a more complete view of what exactly was going on. I then had an opportunity to ask a lot of questions and we went from there. I hope you get some relief until February. That seems like a long time to wait. :( Until then..stay strong and try to enjoy the holidays; remember to take the breaks you need!! Hugs. Christi
Thanks! Just last night my middle and ring figer were so swollen I could hardly move them. I've been staying active and though I have pain it helps me cope more than laying in bed with pain. I feel like I'm earning it somehow lol February feels like a lifetime right now, but I will keep what you said in mind. Thank you for the reply I feel more confident about the appointment now! I'll keep you updated!

Simply Christi ...how are you today....please share your words as your way of defining RA has given a very positive response in my body and feel as if I have no pain.
Inflamatory arthritis and connective tissue disease , was misdignosed for twn years as just having chrinic fatuige syndrome for ten years, Pain and fatuge is horrendous at times, hope you doing better now, btw i think your beautiful :)
Maybe we're pain sisters!! How are they feeling now? We should come up with an emoji for RA or something. I would love to be able to put that in the comments here as a sign of power among the masses. Thanks for coming by.

I am only 30. I have been struggling for years with joint pain off and on. This past year, I was tested by my doctor, and found out that I have high inflammation, but a negative rheumatoid factor. With my symptoms, the doctor referred me to a rheumatologist who diagnosed me with seronegative RA. I tried Plaquenil but I have a very sensitive gastrointestinal system and couldn’t tolerate it. I am now on Sulfasalazine which has worked for me, though lately I have had to go off due to bronchitis. I am trying to get back on it right now, though it’s taking a bit to kick back in. It’s the middle of the night where I am, and a storm system is moving in tonight- I am aching in my joints right now, and trying to get comfortable so I can get back to sleep. I also take Meloxicam, but find it’s problematic since I also take Excedrin regularly for migraines, and you can’t take the two together. People who don’t have this have no idea of the difficulty it is to be in this much pain. I appreciate your video because it sounds a lot like my story.
You should watch this - if what he says is true then people are being made to suffer for years so others can get rich ua-cam.com/video/yZCtntss4Fk/v-deo.html

Hi Chisti, I was looking at videos for Protandim and your video came up. It sounds like you have RA under control but I am looking at Protandim as I read of people who experience complete remission of RA as well as many other conditions. I thought I share.
so long do you get batter? does it deteriorate ? The factor does down? if not, suggest you to use Canadian licensed natural ARTHRON 5 for it. The synthetic medicine can not help at all.
Have you tried eating anti-inflammatory foods. Or vegan diet? Dr. Goldner with goodbye lupus.. I also have RA. And I don't take any medication but eat a plant base diet. And I'm doing so much better..
+Thomas Nighbor You are welcome. You can always private message me or she can if you guys have any other questions you don't want to post here. Best of luck!
I'm glad you've experienced some relief. I've found that a vegan diet has been amazing at eliminating all of my RA pain and I highly recommend it as medications only cover up symptoms and have possible negative side-effects, not to mention are expensive. There are many awesome lectures here on youtube about plant-based diets and how it can eliminate arthritis.
+Jenny Jenny Hi! I think diet is so critical to how you feel. I continue to experiment with different diet variations to try to get to the correct balance for myself. :)
Maximiliano M Yes definitely get rid of wheat. I have Ra and Celiac and since my diagnosis and changing my diet- I feel much better. The medication was kicking my ass so I stopped it and so far so good. I have some pain here and there but I'm getting by. :-)
Hey , can you please help answering me if those symptoms are common in this disease 2 - both knees pain the lift more than the right (started 4 years ago) - both shoulders lift more then the right one ( started 2 years ago) Both pols lift more then the right one ( 2 months ago ) Sometimes i have really cold fingers 2 in the morning after 15 min they are back to normal and i can move them again Next week i have to see the doctor but i really cant wait to see what is going on with my body ...
I have my appointment booked with a ra specialist tomorrow. I'm 17 and it all started with pain in my knees and jaw. Now I'm starting to feel pain in the bottom of my feet, ankles , wrists and finger. I hope you're doing well. Years of me being diagnosed with tendinitis and tmj but no meds working. Hope I find what a wrong with me!
Very helpful Christi...my Dr. just said I have severe arthritis in my neck and shoulders..no meds...she just wants me to do physical therapy..what kind of dr should I see. I’m in a lot of pain...tks
Hi Christi, I really like your video. You are so optimistic. Hope I can become as strong as you are. My symptoms are multijoints pain and cracking, swallowing in both thumbs. My bloodwork (RF) is intermediate, and CRP is negative. I myself am suspecting RA. However, my family doctor said it didn't look like RA and didn't refer me to a rheumatologist. I am so frustrated and worrying about the delay of treatment...Wish you all the best.
Wendy Ni Thanks for commenting, Wendy. Only you can fight the hardest for yourself. Delaying treatment is never a good idea with this disease or many other autoimmune diseases. I would recommend that you seek another opinion. Also check with your insurance company. Some require a referral from a family doctor and some don't. It's very important that you fight to figure out what is going on. I sure hope you find someone to get on board with your journey very soon. Hugs!
Simply Christi Great to hear from you, Christi. I never thought I will be replied by a stranger before. You make me feel I am not alone. I immigrated to Canada one years ago. I worked as a cardiologist for seven years in my home country. The ironic thing is that I can treat others but cannot treat myself....So frustrated. I am planning to apply for nursing program here in Canada, but maybe I should change my mind. Maybe I should re-think abut my lifestyle, like you. Haha, what am I talking about? I even haven't been diagnosed yet although I highly suspect it. Anyway, please take care of yourself! You are not alone!
Wendy Ni Do not quit looking at nursing as a background. There are so many roles you can fulfill just by having your nursing degree. After you get done and get through clinical you can really find a role that will suit your needs and your lifestyle as you need it to. I would also use your condition once you find out what is truly going on as part of your application essay. Let them know what's going on but let them know that it will not stop you from being successful. :) That's my advice anyway. Have a good day!
I would like to go to the root of the problem and work from there. it's good you found relief. I truly belief what you eat makes a big difference. for example, sugar, bread, pasta, rice are terrible for ppl. who hv. RA. I myself am reeducating myself on what to eat and not to eat. some progress is better then no progress but what I really want is complete health.
I would like to point out that Rheumatoid Arthritis is an autoimmune disease just like Psoriatic arthritis and Stills disease. So to expect for a miracle cure it’s not going to happen.
Hello Christi, i loved your video and i love your channel in general. I also have RA diagnosis and i agre with you that i sense lack of personal RA stories on UA-cam or maybe i am just unable to find them. It is great to see a RA face and to hear your story. Im lookig forward to any of your other RA videos :) Hugs :) Urša
Urša´n RA Thank you so much for commenting! I have been crazy busy with life (update coming soon) the last few months but I'm getting back on track. I hope to have another quick video coming this week then establishing a more regular posting schedule. Thanks again! See you soon! Hugs!
Hey, at the age of 18 I have been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Soon the joint pain started. They gave me a medicine that both tackles abdominal as well as joint inflammations. It worked for a little bit but 2 months ago I got another inflammation. Haven’t been able to walk properly since then. The specialist told me that my knees, spine and right hand are inflamed. They gave me prednisone and upt my daily intake of my standard medication. They want to treat me in a different more specialized hospital but my new appointment is at the end of February. That’s also the time I am able to see the other specialist They referred me to. Does anyone have tips how I can get thru this time? I can’t barely walk. Can’t see my friends because literally everything requires walking or moving. It’s a hell to get to school... 😕
I just came across your story. Mine was and is alot different. My diagnosis came when I was 26 yo and didn't have medical and it's onset was a matter of hours from walking and moving perfectly fine to being pretty much bedridden and not walking. Now I'm 62 yo so as you probably know many of the drugs used commonly now never existed back then, but I was put on indomethacin an anti-inflammatory nsd that worked to suppressed the worst of the inflammation but my kidneys and liver functions started acting up.so I was removed from that. Now I'm on inflexamib (spelling?) an immuno-supressent about 4 years ago which brought my numbers back into range. But the damage has been done and continues to writ; 3 hip replacements left one twice, total neck fusion w/two titanium rods (that was a tough 6 hour procedure), left mid-foot fusion twice, left ankle fusion, both wrists fusion left one has a rod the right one a plate, and now my lumbar is failing badly to the point my right leg collapses on me without warning. The after affects from the operations; constant severe headaches and numb hands from the neck fusion and because my foot and ankle don't flex my tibia fractures spontaneously. i don't enjoy life anymore, it is full of pain and sleepless nights. I don't understand why this happened, it is a catastrophic failure.
Randy Johnson Thank you for your comment. Your story deeply saddens me and I know there is nothing I can offer to make anything feel any better. I do know this...I know that because of you and the millions of sufferers who have navigated this journey before me I was able to know enough about what was happening to me to know it wasn't right. You saved me. All of you did. I still have flare-ups and pain but you have saved me from many many struggles. I'm not sure if that helps anything at all but I think its important for you to know that there are those of us out there who fully recognize that without long-time suffering could we ever be where we are medically with RA today. So, in the simplest way; THANK YOU. Thank you for saving me, for commenting and for reaching out. I'm thinking of you...
May God Bless you dear lady. My goodness, You've been through so much! I'm 51 and been diagnosed with Soriatic Arthritis and already have mild pain in nearly all of my joints. I don't know what is in my future and although I have little faith in my rheumatologist, I guess I'll try going back and see what else he has to offer. I hope you find some comfort and relief soon.

Have you ever tried Plexus? There are some amazing stories of people getting off medications and no longer being bound by the debilitating effects of RA. I would love to be able to help you!
I got my diagnosis in 2015 but before that I was experiencing Charlie horse spasms and burning in my arms and hands then started sweating a lot even under being in the ac had times when I loss hair in different places on the scalp.
People that don’t have RA really don’t understand the level of pain that it causes , I was diagnosed at 17 (3years ago) and we are still trying to find a medicine that fits me best for relief .i went through pain for about a year until I decided to go to the doctor so if you guys have any tips on how to relief pain . Please comment and let me know
HI Alexandra. I am sorry I am so late in responding. I hope you've found some things to help your pain. I personally use (as always, check with your doctor on anything you try) Advil, heat and restorative yoga. These three things help me so very much.
Have you tried to look into Paddison Program? It is all natural, founded by Clint Paddison, person who actually has RA but pulled himself from acute condition with diet and exercise and shares his experience with the whole world. It is an amazing program where thousands of RA patients share their experience. I suggest you really do.

I took nutraceuticals for three months during which time the pain from my rheumatoid arthritis decreased until it was completely gone. It has not returned. Apparently, my rheumatoid arthritis was a response to my becoming infected with a bacteria called mycoplasma. It appears that the nutraceuticals work to kill the bacteria, which in turn stopped my rheumatoid arthritis response and resultant pain. For me, this is what happened and how I handled it.
Survival Product Reviews That is very interesting. I am certain that we have very little information on what truly causes these things and how they get helped. Thanks for sharing!
My relatives had arthritis there are some things can be tried ..doctors have different kinds of meds depending on the progression of arthritis I get some osteo etc ...but I hit by cars twice etc and got some nerve problems I have experimented with a myriad of things from supplements to diet etc 🙃 which I may share if enough interest on my channel if requested I have studied diseases for many decades and a lot of people refer me messenger etc I never replace docs I also let people know what docs recommend and the pros and cons of everything!I once also was a male nurse
thank you for your helping video ( sorry for my English ), but I want ask about the pains that I have is it will disappear if I start the medical treatment ? or the medical will just stop the Disease progression؟؟
+dandan dndnah Some medications do one or the other. I have one medication that stops the disease process from progressing. The other medication I have helps lessen the inflammation and the pain. Hopefully your doctor can help you find the right mix. :)
Ann Shaffer Ann! That makes my heart smile so much. I am very sorry to hear about your new diagnosis but know that you are not alone! I'd be happy to keep in contact should you need support or any other information on what I've gone through. I hope you're doing better and that you have a good weekend. :)
Thanks, Christi! Since being diagnosed I think i have pretty rapidly come to terms with it. I have a good rheumatologist (which is essential) and he got really aggressive with my RA. He infused me the second time in his office which made me feel much better and and gave me renewed hope within hours, then put me on Prednisone and Methotrexate, and i am doing very well. Hardly any pain and no side effects. I am hopeful, but taking it one day at a time. Thanks for responding. You have a good day!
Last year I was diagnosed with RA The meds that I take work sometimes and sometimes they don't the pain I experienced throughout the week have me really considering the I V infusion. Sometime I am still in disbelief that I have this do your RA symptoms attack your throat area? Particularly the bone in your throat ?
Hi there. I am sorry to hear your at the point you're considering another therapy, however making sure to stay on top of the disease is the best way to limit the destruction to the joints. My symptoms don't attack that particular area. Isn't it weird how it attacks all of us differently? Thanks for your comment. Hope you get feeling better soon!
I can't seem to get a doctor to take me seriously when I tell them everything that goes wrong with me.. I just had a Flare Up this weekend and I Literally COULDN'T walk.. my hips were I so much pain I couldn't get 1 leg to move in front of other.. I had this happen 2 times in last 6 months and I go to ER and they give me a pain shot & BIG dose of cortisone and then after about 2 days I am able to walk yet I still HAVE tons of pain and stiffness in every joint my wrist were even swollen and bruised like I had broke them. But I didn't, nobody believes me and It makes it so hard, my husband just feels so mad because no health care person takes it seriously.. and I have really good insurance I beg them to run more tests every time.. it's like when I read a RA symptoms checklist I have Everything on there yet blood work comes back normal..
Castleberry5 Ugh...that does sound frustrating! I'm so glad your hubby is supportive and going to bat for you. I hope you keep pushing until someone gives you answers and pays attention. If we don't fight for ourselves not many others will fight for us. Hugs to you!
hi my name is ana i am 25 and been suffering with RA for the past 10 years but it an everyday fight to make my self stronger what do you do to go on everyday and not loss your self ?
+Ana Bernal Hi Ana. Gosh, I feel so inexperienced to give you advice as someone who hasn't suffered as long as you have. :( My best advice is to focus on what is good. A pet, a family member, a friend, the beauty of the nature outside or maybe a hobby that doesn't make you feel like poo....anything you can think of that DOES make you smile...that DOES make your heart feel better....focus on those things. I enjoyed a leadership training that asks you to draw a pie with slices. Figure out what roles you see yourself in your life...I have self, wife, doggie mom, family member, volunteer and beginning photographer. Decide which percentage of the pie each of those roles should have then try to schedule your life and time around those things. Sure, we have to work to get money, but you'll notice that it's not one of my primary roles. That simply means I'm choosing to focus more on the other slices of the pie that add value, happiness and joy in my life. Give it a try...draw your pie and I hope you'll let me know how it goes. Hugs!
Thank u for sharing I appreciate it I been waiting for something r somebody to show how there dealing with this I have Rhymatoid arthritis been on Humeria n methotrexate n it’s been bout 2/12 months I am doing better to wear I can walk n do have to many total break downs to wear I cannot walk to bathroom without walker I have less but recently I was shopping with my daughter n I went into dressing rm with her I decided to do a few wall push up n injured my arm girl let me tell u it felt the next day like my arm was broken so I thought I shared that too take care of yourself no your body what it can do n can’t don’t do to much eat healthy no trigger foods until my Inflamation is down I cannot do no kind of exercise my dr say for a min
Hi Christi I'm in the same boat as you in regards RA [and nearly the same timeframe] .I to was on Plac Tabs but after 6months started to develop really bad cramps which led to excruciating stomach pain--- suffice to say as soon as my RA Doctor found out I was off the Placs and a month later back to norm except the RA. My RA has slowly spread from fingers to wrists with most discomfort being in the mornings - I usually just pop a anti inflam and move on- I know the problems still there and I am going to see the Doctor in regards to the next step in RA drugs - hopefully something easy on the gut and I am looking/toying at getting rid of the gluten and dairy from my diet to see what effect that might have , someone has also mentioned to drop meat as well -------- not going to happen.Stuart
+Stu cumins Haha...Stuart, I completely understand about the meat. That made me laugh. One thing I might suggest is going on a month long diet challenge so you can find your true triggers. I think they're different for everyone. Hope you found some good news at your last appointment!!

+Dmc19 I am so sorry to hear of your pain. I wish you all the best. :)
+Simply Christi thanx mate I'm happy with life its just a bit different to others and the great medical system in Australia. due this winter for my ankel joint to be fused I'm looking forward to having normal feet again. I hope you are well and not in too much pain.

My mother was the same, but nine years older than you, when she first suffered.
She died just over a decade back at a ripe old age, but her hands, arms, feet and legs were constantly bandaged the last twenty or so years,, which, she said, helped with her balance issues.

Try CBD oil for pain relief...it's natural and you won't get 'high' as it doesn't contain the HTC ingredient, nor will you suffer side effects.
Honey your story breaks my heart!
There is hope!!
There is a product that has helped so many people!!

Thank you Lisa. I hope you're living in the light now. I'm sorry for replying so late!
How did you get to the light at the end of the tunnel
Thank you for this. I was just diagnosed with RA today so this is helpful info.
I am sorry to hear this and I'm sorry it took me so long to respond. How are you doing these days?
@@SimplyChristi also could you write us your treatment? Did you do anything to fight with autoimune disease?
What is you status now? Could you please tell me about the intensity of pain worsening?
I’ve been having more pain recently so might have to adjust treatment. How are you?
@@aliciaangel9219 I was diagnosed recently. The doctor have prescribe some meds but still my joints have cracking noise and i am having pain in hands and legs. Sometimes i feel muscles are senseless.
Thank you for sharing your story. I just got my lab work back, and I have been diagnosed with RA. Waiting to meet with the rheumatologist. The pain is terrible, but I know now there are things I can do to help. Take care!
How r you now???

My daughter was diagnosed today. ..pizza give some good herbs to take.
☺Gby!

Having Rheumatoid Arthritis was the end of he world for me and carrying it for another 4years was hell despite all the medication I was taking. But Dr Oyalo from UA-cam channel helped me with his herbal cure and now I am free nd negative. He too can do yours as well

Christi thanks. We are blessed with this and don't have another choice. Life is battle. Overall I'm ok I hope and you are. All the best!

Thank you Maria. Apologies for the late reply.
Hey Maria how r u

Thank you SO MUCH for this. This is a very powerful testimony. I know you will inspire many of us.
Thank you and my sincerest apologies for such a late reply.

I always use to crack my fingers as a kid, and they say that (myth) it could cause arthritis...well...
now after 5 years, please update your health status because I am suffering from same symptoms

This is my story. I was only 42 year old when I was
diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am now 47 years old. It all started to
come into light. My left knee was bothering me so I decided to see my nurse -practioner.
First they did an x-ray of my left knee and with those results it warranted a
MRI of my left knee. Well the results said I had a torn meniscus in my left
knee. So my nurse practioner sent to see an orthopedic doctor and he did the
procedure that was back in March of 2010. I felt wonderful full function of my
knee and no pain. But after 5 months after meniscus surgery, I thought my torn
it again. But that was not the case. The left knee was becoming more painful.
My nurse practioner did some blood work on me; she looked for lupus, Lyme diseases
they were searching for. My nurse practioner sent me to see a Rheumatologist
and with the bloodwork states that I have an autoimmune disease called rheumatoid
arthritis. I was shocked that I had this. I knew on my mother side of the
family had RA, MS, and arthritis of the joints finding out I had to do research
on RA. Putting pieces together of my past medical history, when I was a
teenager my blood vessels in my eyes would rupture for no apparent reason at
that time. Years later diagnosed with pleurisy. No doctor had connected the dots with past diagnosis i have had.
In Fast forward, I
have had 6 orthopedic surgeries of what RA has done to my body. I will need a
left knee replacement soon. I have gone through biologics and RA medication methotrexate, Enbrel,
rutixan, remicade, xeljanz, Plaquenil, sulfasalazine. And right now I am on
Orencia. I have now a nodule on right hand pinky finger. My hands and feet and
constantly swollen. Every morning my fingers are stiff and swollen. It is
taking me longer to do things that I normally did. I am very fatigued on a
daily basis. Right now I am taking pain medicine but I might have
to take a higher dose or something stronger than what I am taking. Every day is
a struggle.
Thank you for sharing. Oh man, I am so sorry for all you've been through. How are things now?
my mum is exactly going through in this condition.. & I'm totally blank... pls suggest where should I go for medical consultancy..

My suggestion on pain relief?
Try steer clear of the opiate range of painkillers.
They, as you can imagine, are highly addictive.
I'm extremely fortunate, in that I quit them after three weeks without being weaned off them and suffered no side effects.
My doctor was furious, but as I pointed out, they did little for the actual pain...I just didn't give a damn about the pain, because I was out of my face high.
hye i am genna..i have been suffering with RA for the past five years.. I can relate to you.. Your videos are surely a motivation!
+Genna Stasia Hi Genna! Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for subscribing. Any ideas of what other videos you'd like to see?

Hi Ana. I hope you're feeling better now.
Thank you,I was diagnosed then i was 23 years old and now i am 39...I have the pain of all body joins :(. But we all must be strong
Arianna how is your RA now ?
Take care
Thanks again 😀
Lucie Evans No problem! I know how you feel. Alcohol is really becoming a choice and consequence lesson for me. Hope you got over it soon. :)
Thank you for sharing this, it was very useful! And what a face! You are gorgeous.
Thank you for very much for very brief fast and informative video

+Simply Christi
I followed the program and the effects are remarkable already…I have been drug-free for 3 weeks now and planning on taking it longer, when I see my rheumatologist and discuss the possibility. check their site..it may help you for sure..

I am sorry Maybelle. I hope you're feeling better these days.
Same is happening with me. I am sent to a psychiatrist instead of getting treated for the disease and I am pregnant as well.
Thank you so much for sharing this!

I just posted my rheumatoid arthritis story! My Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Story
Thank you Robert. I hope you're doing well.
I have the same issues with my feet. It drives me crazy at times. I've had RA since 2007. I'm RH negative in my lab work.

Hi Chisti, I was looking at videos for Protandim and your video came up. It sounds like you have RA under control but I am looking at Protandim as I read of people who experience complete remission of RA as well as many other conditions. I thought I share.
I have arthritis & just started vlogging abt it. So, I just wanted to say I appreciate your video :) Have a great day! ~Jess~
Thank you Jess. I hope you're doing well.
so long do you get batter? does it deteriorate ? The factor does down? if not, suggest you to use Canadian licensed natural ARTHRON 5 for it. The synthetic medicine can not help at all.
Have you tried eating anti-inflammatory foods. Or vegan diet?
Dr. Goldner with goodbye lupus..
I also have RA. And I don't take any medication but eat a plant base diet. And I'm doing so much better..
my girlfriend was diagnosed and I am trying to educate myself, thanks for posting your story.....
+Thomas Nighbor You are welcome. You can always private message me or she can if you guys have any other questions you don't want to post here. Best of luck!
Good for you!! What a wonderful person! ❤
All the best in that journey for you! I pray you get 100% relief
That's awesome. I have some early RA symptoms (no diagnosis) and have been Vegan for a year or so. I still eat wheat. Should I eliminate that?
Maximiliano M my doctor recommended me to. be gluten free. I fo it but it's not so easy
Maximiliano M Yes definitely get rid of wheat. I have Ra and Celiac and since my diagnosis and changing my diet- I feel much better. The medication was kicking my ass so I stopped it and so far so good. I have some pain here and there but I'm getting by. :-)
Hey , can you please help answering me if those symptoms are common in this disease 2

- both shoulders lift more then the right one ( started 2 years ago)
Both pols lift more then the right one ( 2 months ago )

Next week i have to see the doctor but i really cant wait to see what is going on with my body ...
Hi. Sorry I was offline for a while. How did your doctor appointment go? Did you find any answers?
Thank you. I feel like you do, but have been put through the ringer but cannot get a positive. You are so lucky. :)
Thanks for commenting. How are things now?
It feels like the end of life for me . Tired of being tired. Tired of hurting.
I hope you're feeling better now Serenna.
Very helpful Christi...my Dr. just said I have severe arthritis in my neck and shoulders..no meds...she just wants me to do physical therapy..what kind of dr should I see. I’m in a lot of pain...tks
Lessie Davis Is you have the option, seek a Rheumatologist. Most specialists require a referral from your primary doctor. Good luck!
Thank for sharing your problem with use I have RA from 2011 also some time It give me pain in my arm and fingers iam 63 your old
Hi Christi, I really like your video.
Have a good day!
hello Wendy Ni, how is your health now ? still have joints pain ?
Has Mobic caused any side-effects for you? Weight gain, headache, stomach pain?
What a wonderful video thank you so much for sharing.
Yolanda Menendez
The only way you'll find complete relief is to convince your autoimmune system to stop attacking itself. Lol.
I would like to point out that Rheumatoid Arthritis is an autoimmune disease just like Psoriatic arthritis and Stills disease.
So to expect for a miracle cure it’s not going to happen.
I am trying to get a diagnosis for all my joint pain and muscle fatigue. Does anyone else get random bruises on their knuckles?
Hello Christi, i loved your video and i love your channel in general. I also have RA diagnosis and i agre with you that i sense lack of personal RA stories on UA-cam or maybe i am just unable to find them. It is great to see a RA face and to hear your story. Im lookig forward to any of your other RA videos :)
Hugs :)

Urša´n RA Thank you so much for commenting! I have been crazy busy with life (update coming soon) the last few months but I'm getting back on track. I hope to have another quick video coming this week then establishing a more regular posting schedule. Thanks again! See you soon! Hugs!
What was elevated in your blood work if you don’t mind me asking?
Thanks for sharing, I've learn some points.
Thank you for sharing. RMS
Oh Dawn. :( I'm so sorry I saw this so late. How are you doing these days? I sure hope you're feeling better.
Hi Chris, can you make a new video about the status of your RA? Are you under total remission right now?
I can. I know this request is 2 years old and I'm sorry for that. Would an update video still help you?

When my RA was at its worst. I said it felt as if I was walking on broken glass..
That is awful. I hope you're doing better now.
By any chance did you get vaccinated 1-2 years before having symptoms?
Thanx for sharing! I needed that!

All the best for you.
I was diagnosed 15 years ago. Been hell. I'm 50 now...long story but too lazy to tell it.
Thanks to dr. Oziegbe for curing my dad of R.A
thank you for your helping video ( sorry for my English ), but
I want ask about the pains that I have is it will disappear if I start the medical treatment ? or the medical will just stop the Disease progression؟؟
+dandan dndnah Some medications do one or the other. I have one medication that stops the disease process from progressing. The other medication I have helps lessen the inflammation and the pain. Hopefully your doctor can help you find the right mix. :)
Thanks for sharing. I am newly diagnoses with RA and felt the same as you. Although I can find information, i wanted a "face." Thanks for being here.
Thanks to dr. Oziegbe for curing my dad of R.A
I can't seem to get a doctor to take me seriously when I tell them everything that goes wrong with me..
Hugs!
Ana, read Gods word and trust in him.
Thank YOU for being here. I hope you're doing better now.
Stu cumins what happened with the dairy and gluton?
try kyani product.search fisrt, thisproduct work for me.
WoooW you miss 😍😍 i was jus staring at you

Hi Lisa. I am so sorry for the late response. Did you ever try methotrexate? I haven't had that medication yet.
