I see you also have a loop outside top left of the door, I wonder what it is for

That loop is typically there to hold the outer door flap back if a camper wishes to roll it up to get it out of the way.

They bought a cheap Ozark Trail tent they are very known to fail and not good in weather conditions they are junk Walmart brand tents they are not a very good recommendation Eureka Spitfire
