Great video! You probably already know this but they have a lot of "aides sociales" for students like the caf and bourses. I know it's hard to study and work in France but hang in there!
i feel like ive watch this so many times.Love that you started a bachelors .I plan on doing a year(starting in 2 months!) of being au pair and then become a student. I hope you're doing well girl! Its videos like this that has made me take the fucking plunge and i really appreciate it.
For your next Q&A can you go in depth about your school life? Like the classes you take and your schedule, so I can get an idea of what to be prepared for.
I know I’ve said this before but congrats on getting accepted at la Sorbonne. It’s awesome too all the info that you listed for us.
When you said that you’re not afraid of starting over, I smiled soooo much! And omg your French is sooo cuteeeeeee✨💖💖💖💖
It’s been 5 yrs, Jen!! Thank you for this video. You are aspirational. I wish the best for you and your goals. May you rest in God and trust His plans and be most fulfilled. ❤🎉

Hi, Jen. Thanks for making these videos. My husband and I went to Paris in March 2017 (and were going back this coming March!). It's such a beautiful city, and I've been planning how to move there in the next year or so. Your videos are super helpful in providing insights about what it's really like to move to Paris. Keep it up and good luck!
Saved for later! Thanks for keeping us up to date Jen :)
Hey girl, just organising my life and studying at campus langue- the pace is really slow. A lot of success for u ❤
189 ... my school supplies ( not even adding the books )cost more than that 😂 Jesus I wish I was there. I wish you luck and success in your studies and life in Paris.Ton français est parfait a mon avis.

i am 26 i wanna go to france in 2 years, i don’t know if i should take master or bachelor classes, i wanna make a career change, so i feel like i must choose bachelor courses and get a fresh start, but it is kinda scary for me
I admire your courage.
Bon courage.
Great video
Hi! I am student from India who would like to take up Master of Physics course in France. I speak good English (UK). Are the courses delivered in French only? If so, are textbooks or course materials in English available in the University? Are exams put in French language? Is it recommendable to join any French University if I don't know French?
So do you need to send your high school diploma if you are applying for a Master's or PhD???
Hi, I saw your UA-cam videos about how to get into a university in France and found it really insightful. I'm currently a final year student in my bachelors course from India and am planning to apply for a master's in science and health in Sorbonne University.
I wanted to ask about the language proficiency to apply for the institute. All of my coursework till now was done in English and I have zero knowledge about French. Since I'm planning to apply for the 2024 intake I think there is too little time to start preparing now. Can I show English proficiency test results like IELTS instead of French language proficiency?
It would be a great help if you could help me regarding this as I started panicking when I recently came to know about the French proficiency criteria.
Wonderful video :)Is there an opportunity to study archaeology?
Hi! I love your video I'm looking to apply to the Sorbonne Nouvelle and I know this is going to help me so much. What were the educational pre-requisites to get into the Sorbonne?
Is there a language pre-req for all degrees just doing a bachelors ?
Hey, when you applied for your programme what was the name of it and how many years you will be taking it? By this, I mean that when I searched for study programmes it was usually two years DUT programme or professional licence.. their system got me so confused. What should I search for when I'm opting for a normal Bachelor's Degree? Merci :)
Hello ! 60 credits is insane, especially taking them in French. Do you work part time or full time ?
thanks!

Jen Pinto ah ok ok, I understand now, thanks for taking the time to reply, then, are there any cheap ways to study French in Paris like to make that first step and get student visa before getting accepted in the uni?
Thank you!
Bonjour Jen,
I got accepted in
Inseec U. in Bordeaux and
IGR.IAE Rennes School of Management (Universite' de Rennes).
Can you give me some advice which one is better for a degree in MBA?
Why? Pros and Cons (anything from quality of education, to social life, or employment if you have heard anything about these schools)
Any info is very much appreciated because there isn't much info online
Merci! :)
As a French student i can definetly say that inseec is much better. CONGRADULATION !

I'm Sri Lankan and I want to study in France. (bachelor degree of travel and tourism) can I find it in sorbonne university and how much it will cost?
There is no travel & tourism course in public university but you can find it on private university la rochell & PSB
I want to do a gap year in Paris, but I'm worried about finding a job. I'm only 17 so I do not have a lot of work experience, do you have any recommendations for job searching? Thanks!
Jen Pinto wise advice, what kind of experience would you recommend to get ?
Thanks!
How do you get home insurance? Help!!
Jen Pinto thank you so much for your help.
Can you recommend good books that are in french
Just joining the conversation here. I don't know how good your french is, but you'll do much better if you opt for a book that you want to read the end of, whether it was actually written in french or english originally. It will help you keep going even when you don't understand every single word. Children books are also an option, the stories are simpler, but there is so much basic vocabulary in there that it's a great way to start and to feel proud of yourself (because hey, it might be for kids, but it's for FRENCH kids). I teach english to french people, and have had amazing results with Matilda by Roald Dahl. It's funny, you want to know what happens to Matilda, and there is a ton of vocabulary to learn. BDs are also an option... I can get you a list of books that most french people have read if you're interested
Tu parles très bien. Aucune raison de te sentir gênée. Bon courage pour tes études.
