If your student visa has expired and you are applying for French language course is it possible that I will get the visa?
I registered in an institute Campus LANGUES and I am Syrian and I live in Syria. Will the French embassy accept this institute and give me a student visa?
After finishing language school, would it be easy to apply for Universities to take up Bachelor’s ? Without needing to go back to my home country? will they Extend my Visa ?
Salut, does the visa for attending a language school give you the legal right to have a part time job in france, or would one have to already have funds saved to live in france while being a student?
You can actually work 60% of your time! Student visa allows you to work during your studies. It makes 964 hours in a year. Although I don't know how easy to find job in France at the moment because of pandemic. Good luck!
Hey I'm From Bangladesh
I came to Czech Republic for study with long term schengen visa . Can I study french language in France and how can I get study permit?
Is there any option for me?
@@Francization this is vls-ts visa or vls-t visa? that is, can I obtain a French residency through this visa?
THANKS FOR THE RIGHT INFO. QUESTION: AFTER COMPLETING FRENCH LANGUAGE, CAN WE EXTEND THIS STUDY VISA OR CAN WE GET ADMISSION IN FRENCH UNIVERSITY FOR MASTER DEGREE WITHOUT COMING BACK TO OWN COUNTRY. PLEASE ANSWER
HAVE U FIGURED IT OUT?
I am applying for the student visa with a french language diploma. Could you please confirm do I need a private health insurance? Because the University information said I can apply for social security once I get the visa which will cover my insurance. But in many different videos in youtube, they mention about taking a private health insurance before applying for a visa. I am a bit confused!
Hi Maruf,
Let me give you some clarification.
You will need a health insurance before getting visa. Get whatever you find cheapest in your country. It doesn't really matter what it is if it has a coverage of your medical emergency in France for the period you need for the visa. This is just part of your visa process. (I remind you that this is only required if the French embassy requires it when applying to visa. This can be different for different countries.)
When you get your long term visa, you can get enrolled to the social security system in France and obtain a social security number. This will give you medical support.
You can then, additionally get complementary insurance that is called "Mutuelle" for the rest of the medical fees that is not paid by social security service.
Mutuelle is giving by your company if you work for a company. It is your legal right and you can ask it from your employer. You can also subscribe it as an individual for 80-100€ per month depends on the coverage.
Hope this information cleared your questions,
Mustafa
@@Francization Thank you Mustafa for your reply and explanation. As I am applying from Norway, in the online application portal, they didn't ask for health insurance. So, maybe I will go with all the documents they wanted to submit in the French embassy here. If they want health insurance even after that, maybe I can take one online.

After getting a long-term student visa to study French in a language school, am I eligible to apply for the rent subsidy program? Thanks a lot!
Yes, after you have attended a 3 month program, you will then be able to get the rent subsidy after enrolling in another program.
Hey Franciazation! Thank you so much for your help! I just tried to pre-enroll to Campus Langues and they replied with this:
"Since the 31st of January 2021, Etudes en France & Campus France will only be approving applications and student visas for schools that are within the Label Qualité FLE network.
Our school does not have the "Qualité FLE" label."
The other 2 schools you mentioned are on the list.
Thought this might be helpful to others looking to get a Long-term Visa.
Which schools are authorised?
did you ever figure this out? what did they say?
Yeah exactly. Am so happy I have the schools like 5 of them I will try to apply. This the best information
🎉
You mentioned the French language course at La Sorbonne is 2,350 Euros for "12-weeks" but the long term student visa is for ONE-YEAR stay in France, right?
Hi Yanni, the minimum requirement for a long-term student visa is 12 weeks of education. As an answer to your question, yes you will get a visa that allows you to stay in France for a year. Long-term means that it will be for a year and extendable.
If you want to extend your stay and get a residence permit as a student. You will have to continue your education either as a student in a language school or in a university depends on your degree and intention. And yes they check your attendance and grades when you apply for a residence permit.
@@Francization Thank you so much. How many times can I renew the long term visa before I can apply for a residence permit? Greatly appreciate your response! I love studying and improving my French.
@@yannip2083 would like to know too. Have you got this info?
@@Botafoguense89 Not yet. Please let me know if you find out.

Hi Francization, I talked with Sarobbone admission stuff and they said an embassy will not give me long stay student visa until I apply for more than 6 months courses, and they said an embassy will give 3 months of visa for the course which you said?
You have to apply for 6 months or more yes. Then yr embassy would likely approve yr visa for 6-8mths of étudiant visa stay in France. They would not approve a 6mths to a year of student visa if you only have applied for 3 mths of classes…
Broooo I need an answer asap
04:10 "This foundation is part of Sorbonne University" is FALSE. The CCFS is a private learning institution, whereas the universities in Paris-Sorbonne are public higher education institutions. CCFS is no different to Alliance Francaise.
Thank you for correcting!
Probably I wanted to tell its relation with Sorbonne in the history and now. Full information can be reached in the link below:
