    No body can handle my opinion. They can shut me down in the groups but cant stop me here on UA-cam and i know it irks that nerve. If you want honest truth and answers this is the channel for you. I don’t sugar coat anything. Ill tell the good bad and the ugly about things. And i don’t allow companies to push me around and say what they want me to say. I have turned down so many companies because they wanted me to say a script that they wrote and also wanted to edit-my videos. That is a NO go here at RedNeckGarage UA-cam channel!

    That’s a very fair review , surprisingly a clutch kit does help everything, even the lower engagement the machine still has so much torque it will still leave out just as hard but you can crawl a lot better and the engine brake will work better to . Good job.

      Thank you. Told tall i keep it real and honest. I believe with the clutch kit it lowers RPM but also the spring keeps it shifting longer and smoother. I would love to try one just to compare you know.

    Wish i could have made it down with mine. I got the clutching, cloaking, and 32s that change the 950 alot for the better. But sounds like u got cut short on the trip anx my finger may have got cut short on the mower blades. Will def have to keep watch on ur trips to see if any are close to WV.

    Love my 950, looks and all. That being said it's the only one I've ever ridden. I agree that the seat belts suck and also the turning radius is horrible. I enjoy your videos, keep em coming. In Canada here they do come factory with mirrors.

      We set the shocks per manual they were out. And for the top clickers we ended up taking them counter clockwise until they wouldnt turn no more and then 4 clicks clockwise removed all sway bars and the ride was so much better.

    Okay Steve Im gonnna throw you a bone....I am a 950 owner. Had I known what i just ran into a few days ago I likely would have opted for a polaris. I really like the 950 and really like the price. It runs good and is comfortable. BUT and this is a HUGE BUT....when I was riding my area's steep rocky and rough terrain I found out that the engine braking is extremely lacking. It seems to be a problem across the 950 line and not just mine (the 963 cc engine - dry clutched). It will disengage at certain rpm range and thus causes you to have to use your regular braking WAY more than you should have to. I was told it is a design issue inside the primary and clutching may not remedy it. With that said...when you are traversing steep and rocky terrain with large articulation and you are descending...having to press the brake and rev the motor at same time to get it back to engine braking properly SUCKS!!!! and In my honest opinion..DANGEROUS! I am trying to figure out a fix but right now unsure if there is one...SO for those that ride these types of trails....BE AWARE OF THIS! CVTECH should know better! After riding a polaris Trail S 1000 on these same trails it performed way better in this area...I am posting this to arm people with this information and thinking about this issue before plopping the money down...Your 800 I think comes with a wet clutch( maybe semi wet but different than the 950) and is likely way better in this type of riding...and YES seat belts stick and SUCK!! HARNESSES FOR SURE! AND...I love the room in these machine due to the outswept doors BUT again, they are vulnerable to scratching and damage when you are riding deep articulated trails...trust me on that ...have a few good gouges now...

    • @R.N.GPerformance
      @R.N.GPerformance  3 роки тому

      You are absolutely right about the engine brake it absolutely SUCKS ! We were riding the same type of terrain and yes very annoying and very dangerous. And when it free wheels it will all of a sudden snatch and grab and could throw you down a hill. My 800 clutch is amazing and very smooth. Engine brake is right there every time and will decent you down a hill at a nice slow speed with out touching the brakes very smooth CFMOTO should put the wet clutch in all the machines. Its not the best ride but if you add good shocks like i did on mine im sure the ride is much more enjoyable. I love how plush mine is and rides so good. I think i was a little too comfortable and rode too hard because of it resulting in a diff issue lol. Thank you for your feedback

      @@R.N.GPerformance So Steve take a watch on this video to see the trails we ride..camera really doesnt do it justice for the steepness but you may can see...and there are many areas that have rock drops and roots and its tough but really fun...so you can see where engine braking is IMPORTANT!!!! especially when its wet...and we are wet A LOT! here in Washington state...ua-cam.com/video/nHxTs941sww/v-deo.html

      The disengage is now , just hit the throttle, that’s any belt drive that doesn’t have centrifugal clutch but if you install the clutch kit and
      Reclocking the secondary to B3 , it does everything better , Engine breaking is good as anything on the market and I have 30 inch tires on mine and it better on every way over stock setup with 27inch .

    Lol. Even if you dump a bucket of water on the air intake it would not get into the machine. It's built so the water runs out underneath. You have to take it off to see how it works. But water cannot get in there.

      @@R.N.GPerformance no it will not bro. There are drains that the water runs out of at the bottom of the cones. You would have to take it off to see it. But if water gets in there it's not gonna go very far down there and it hits a place where it drains out on to the ground. Glad you stayed with cfmoto. I know you have worked on your machine so much they become part of the family. Lol

    • @zforce950driver9
      @zforce950driver9 3 роки тому

      The z950 is a cheap version of the yxz? That’s weird, I
      It’s not even similar any way , it’s actually the first side by side they made that’s actually they actually made from scratch without any copious anything, all the previous 1000, 800s and 500 are a copy of the Polaris, the 950 is a great machine , stock vs stock, it’s by far the best handling, best power to the ground , most roomy , I have rode 80 miles in a day as was very comfortable, you can our group has 30 inch , 32 inch and one running 34 inch ties, all have had zero issues , I got over 1600 miles now on mine .

    • @R.N.GPerformance
      @R.N.GPerformance  3 роки тому +1

      It does kinds look real similar to the YXZ tho. Like really similar. I personally think stock for stock the suspension is still stiff just like the other models. The 950 has quite a few blind spots up front. And i don’t like how the rain water shoots inside at you right passed the windshield. The 950 has allot of work that needs to be done to be a good desirable machine. Its not really faster i watched 2 800 machines keep up with it neck to neck and the 950 guy was in sport mode the one 800 was all stock and the other had a tune clutch kit and 28 inch tires. I don’t like the 950 and never will unless they fix some of the flaws. The throttle pedal needs fixed we had issues with them all week long and 1 was fixed under the recall still acted up. One didn’t want to start out in a trail. And the check engine light come on at 10 miles and flickered the whole week. It just simply needs some work weather anyone wants to admit it or not it does. Lol.

      @@R.N.GPerformance your opinion is just that , you dont hava nay real experice with one , i got 1600 miles a a year and ride with the mainstreet crew often , and our views and how the machine performs are a lot different but we been riding them and have that experience you dont have ., 950 is machine , first of a new design , the 800 is defiinetly a china clone of a rzr .They all have flaws , 800 has tons itself you have proven that , you have don a ton trying to fox them.

    • @R.N.GPerformance

      @@zforce950driver9 they all have issues no doubt about that. Ive only had rear diff issues no other issues. Other then obvious things such as shocks etc but all stock shocks on all machines suck to a certain point. I spent allot of time with 950 machines. My opinion is solely on stock 950 machines you guys machines aren’t stock by any stretch. Have bigger tires clutch kits etc etc. same with my 800 when you add things it only gets better from there i can do things faster and smoother then a stock 800-1000 can. I have to say you can’t stack up the rzr 800 with CFMOTO 800 2 different machines the CFMOTO has a vtwin the rzr dont. Rzr has 52 HP and is a really slow machine it more stacks up closer to the cf 500 trail. CFMOTO has 62hp and is a much much faster more capable machine stock vs stock and i must say the rzr 800 is an ugly machine Atleast the cf is more sleek design. I would pick the CFMOTO over the 2 any day of the week. The 950 isn’t a completely different design they used the same engine as the z1000 same transmission same rear and front differential as all ZForce models made after 2017. I talked with CFMOTO and they confirmed it for me the 950 isn’t faster and don’t have more HP or torque then the 1000 model they said it has the same clutching and everything. I got my information straight from the horses mouth and to confirm even further i went to parts diagram and looked up part numbers. Just stating facts my friend. I love my 800 it does everything i need it to do and will go anywhere any other machines will go with out issues that is if i can keep rear differential in tact but i have a plan for that lol. My next machine will be Kawasaki because as of right now CFMOTO just ain’t putting out anything better. Now i do know they are working on a whole new design and i will be holding out for that in hopes it’s something decent. It’s supposed to have a bigger better engine and over all a whole new design. And i am on the list to be the first one to get one of them. So lets hope CFMOTO steps up their game. Cant beat the machines right now at their price point damn good machines honestly cant complain at all.
