Did they lay asphalt directly on the ground without crushed stone base?
The subbase was a very well compacted combination of recycled concrete blend and soil.

There are many variables that determine the cost of a building. Very generally between $100.00 - $150.00/sf.

At that size building, this would not be a cost effective type of construction.
