Only good thing in uk is that you can try a side hustle which can bring in alot to back you up. Salary only is not enough with the cost of living hopefully 2024 the government can work on reducing some taxes coz ot consumes almost all the salary

It varies from trust to trust, within 6 months- 18 months. If you pick up extra shifts you will be fine

For most trusts, when you are done with your preceptorship then you get an automatic band 6
