Great conversation. I will like to add that perhaps the reason to why there are less people going into the ED in a 24hour span in the US as compared to the UK could be due to Urgent Care facilities. Most people prefer to go to urgent care as they are much faster and less people around plus you are not exposed to so many sicknesses and injuries. No one wants to wait 5hours at the ED when you can be seen in 30minutes at an Urgent Care.
I have never seen any African on social media platforms regret relocating to a Western country amidst all the complaints on social media about these countries.

I think Joyce used to work in the care home when she was in the UK. Because in the care home, you only progress to a manager as a nurse. Whereas there are tons of specialist courses for nurses in NHS.
I agree with you. I work in the NHS, and the options for career progression are massive. You just need to take time to understand the system and possible routes. I also love the fact that one can explore different specialties.
@antoinetteoma3433 What do you mean by general public? By the way, I see quite a lot of specialist nurses who aren't white. You just need to get into that system and take time to build yourself and gradually move up the ladder.
@@antoinetteoma3433depends which trust you work in. In our trust there are a lot of ANPs that are immigrants. I am currently taking up my health assessment course then will take my prescribing course after until I will complete the reqts for an ANP. All funded by our NHS.

Maryland is expensive because you are close neighbors to Washington DC. Food and clothes is tax free in New Jersey, (New York taxes on some specialty garments but in most cases tax free on clothing)Philadelphia Pennsylvania is tax free on clothes and food and so is Delaware
The only each I have with the UK for career progression is that you need to pass all those band 6, band 7 and to apply for ANP. My cousin made her way up to be deputy matron and found a GP in Colchester that will accept to finance her ANP course and for her to work at the same time. Yes , UK systems are good, but you will wait for so long with the banding system to get on the top.

My best friend who is American is trying every which way to extend her Visa so she can carry on living in the UK. wages are definitely higher, but there is no amount of money that can give you peace of mind. Especially if you have black suns. The fact that children have to practice gundrills in school is horrific to me no country where it’s a constitutional right for people to own arms is an anathema to me. for me, it’s fine to visit but never to stay. And there does seem to be a mass exodus a lot of white middle-class people, leaving America and a lot of black working-class people trying to relocate to African countries.
I love the state but my issue is the security. You can run away from knives but not gun shots just like what you said about your brother friend been killed. So this are the fears and raising kids, not know if they are safe in schools. Because of mass shooting of any kind. They almost took out Donald trump and he had security, so imagine a normal person. So yeah Uk has its own flaws but not has great as America 🇺🇸
Living in the US, Nanelle would have the benefit of being in the same country with a sizeable chunk of her birth family, as opposed to living in Northern Ireland with only her husband and their child(ren). Family is a huge draw to the States for her and I totally understand why she may desire to eventually live there. Both are great countries with amazing potentials as well as their own peculiar downsides. People can choose either, depending on what matters most to them.

@ijeomai3746 I am not here to argue with people. That is the national average. In the United States, most people with children have a 2 wage-earner household.

This is the comment right here. I will never understand comparing life in is vs uk. Everyone knows us is a better by far option. Even Australia is better than uk.
If she buy 2 bulk toilet roll, and one pillow, it will full her cart 😂😂
First thing she mentioned about one year down the line was Salary.. common stopppeet. Money without indepth analysis of the cost of run living in borh countries
Nice video.
Your guest sounded defensive though, as though she was trying to justify moving to the US, which I understand.
Nanelle you are so lovely and keep friends. Thank you for always updating us oooo
awww ❤️❤️❤️
I knew you both talked about it before she posted that video 🤣🤣
Sad your brother’s friend got shot, Nanelle make up your mind o🤣🤣
I'm sure you'll do what is best for you and your family.
Enjoyed watching this💙
I just watched news that snake just killed someone in Australia so Nanelle will definitely make the right choice as her entire family is still in USA for many years 10:00 without Ayt incident so we can’t tell what the person did to be shot once since it’s part of the exceptions
@@samuelfrempong2043 something is definitely pinching you and you must be very bitter to bring Australia here when this video is purely USA VS UK. For the records, how many snake deaths per year happens in Australia vs Gunshot/ mass shooting in the USA? And no you don't have to do anything to get shot by your neighbour but guess what?? You need to be playing with most snakes in Australia to get killed because Australia’s native snakes run when they see people and usually in very remote areas. So go cry some more!

something is obviously pinching you and I hope that thing goes away quickly so you can stop being bit ter. Where did I ask her to move to Australia? Why are you bringing Australia into the picture when this video is obviously about Uk vs USA?
But Incase you are losing touch with reality, remind me how many mass sho oting/g un violence in the usa yearly vs sna ke de ath in Australia yearly? Google might be helpful. Also here in Australia you probably will be trying to touch the sna ke before it bites you 90% of the time because they run away when they know someone is walking by,,, you probably also living close to a bush or very remote area to ever encounter one. But in the USA, your neighbour might just be having a bad day and shoot you, so no you don't need to do anything wrong to get sh ot in the US, even hospitals, malls, schools etc have experienced mass sho oting please what did they do? and yes there are sna kes in the USA TOO!
so please get help!

Please let Joyce know we're waiting for wedding content
Great conversation. I will like to add that perhaps the reason to why there are less people going into the ED in a 24hour span in the US as compared to the UK could be due to Urgent Care facilities. Most people prefer to go to urgent care as they are much faster and less people around plus you are not exposed to so many sicknesses and injuries. No one wants to wait 5hours at the ED when you can be seen in 30minutes at an Urgent Care.
I have never seen any African on social media platforms regret relocating to a Western country amidst all the complaints on social media about these countries.
Good one❤. Please find out about Health Care Assistance jobs for those that would like to move from UK to US. Thank you
Yes that amount of money can get you a very big house at a very decent neighborhood. It depends which states.
I can see you got natural Vit D. It's good for you. You must do it more often . You look good.
Nanelle don’t think twice, the USA it is.
Things are now expensive in UK
I have lived in America before. Currently living in UK. And l must say UK is a welfare country , hence the best.
I have lived in America for 10 years so far and trying to move to the UK next year, what’s your experiences been like as an American living there if you don’t mind sharing? I’m super excited to go see what UK living would look like 😅
Our police department sends notices almost every week on gun shots in particular areas where we shouldn't drive through or go closer...will visit when i visit maryland..Moving to america, you need two years to wait for paper work and two years to settle
My biggest fear of the USA 😢😢😢
Lovely n honest conversation ❤
I think Joyce used to work in the care home when she was in the UK. Because in the care home, you only progress to a manager as a nurse. Whereas there are tons of specialist courses for nurses in NHS.
Yes there are specialist roles in the NHS, But the slots are not readily available to the general public especially when one is an immigrant.
Nowadays you can even apply for a specialities and they are willing to train you on the job
I don't agree with her opinion regarding career progression in UK, am a doctor but have worked with nurses doing other things outside clinical nursing. I think your opinion are based on what you were doing in Uk or people you knew
I wonder why she said that. Maybe she worked in a care home
@victoriaagyeman1286 do you understand English? She clearly said she worked in A&E. Stop projecting your own experiences on strangers you see on the Internet, it's weird.
In as much Joyce was trying to be defensive she exhibited some form of ignorance how can you say career advancement in the NHS is all managerial. What happened to the numerous clinical nursing specialists roles and nurse practitioners? lol we all know USA tops in terms of wages but come on there other positives from the UK as well.
Maryland is expensive because you are close neighbors to Washington DC. Food and clothes is tax free in New Jersey, (New York taxes on some specialty garments but in most cases tax free on clothing)Philadelphia Pennsylvania is tax free on clothes and food and so is Delaware
Please regarding the shopping it’s everywhere so don’t imagine you can come back with £60 expecting a full basket. It’s getting harder and harder 🙏
You have alot benefit government helping cost of living, housing, children's getting free benefit here universal credit but they don't help much in America there.i will stay uk for now.
You are looking beautiful Nanelle
I like your friendship and the to vibe 🎉❤
She is lying, the houses are very expensive. Be honest my friend
No she’s not 😂😂😂 houses are not that expensive
Depends on how much you earn@@nurse_bellinda
Great job 👏
In the U.K., sometimes you can find yourself looking after over 10 patients if the ward is short staffed. Would this situation be illegal in USA?
A full cart is not 60 pounds anymore. More like 120 pounds
At which point did we think just because it english it has to change our natural way of conversation?? You cant compromise your convictions to someone's happiness in a compassionate way to keep them in the dark of the true intent stop faking yourself and to people
My UA-cam page is full of information on both Nclex questions and notes. Life in the USA in terms of pay is much higher than UK.
Nanelle, after getting your US Visa, is there anything you need to do or ger before travelling to the States?
Like travel insurance, etc
She didnt need a Visa cus shes a british citizen
@@Florella-Worldshe isn’t a Citizen yet.
And yes, it is important to get your travel insurance for any trip abroad, whether you are travelling with a visa or not.
I’ll be going to France on a Schengen visa in a couple of weeks, a valid travel insurance is a compulsory requirement for Schengen visa applications.
@@Rebel_Leader7she posted that she’s now a British citizen
@@Florella-World on UA-cam? I doubt it.
According to her UA-cam content, what Nanelle got last year was her Indefinite Leave to Remain which means she will be getting her British Citizenship this year.
It's her lovely son who now has British Citizenship and Passport because he was born here and once Nanelle got her ILR last year, she could register her baby as a UK Citizen straight.
Watch out for her own Citizenship videos in the coming months, she surely will be applying for and getting it soon.
@@Florella-WorldTakes more than a passport to become British. Her sprog is not British. His DNA will always state he is African. Not a drop of British blood in him.

Yeah but hospitals bills are more expensive just saying NHS no matter what thank you 😘🇬🇭
For me, it all depends on your reason for relocating! If you are relatively young and your goal is to earn as much money as you can. Then America is probably a better fit for you. but if you choose to settle down and have a family, especially if you have Blacksands run for your life and relocate to anywhere, but America, LOL

@@NanelleGriseldaHi Nanelle, please check the spelling of the title it’s spelling “smell” instead of “Still” ❤❤
@@Me-myself-and-Mai The title is correct. I think she purposely spelt “smell” in the title. “Do I smell regret?” is a phrase that is very popular in England so that’s why Nanelle put it there.
Many NHS trusts have a lot of advanced nurse practitioners, advanced critical care practitioners and anaesthesia associates so I am afraid I can't agree with the advancement point.
I’m sorry but I don’t agree with her and the nursing career progression . The uk have a lot of opportunities to progress as a nurse without being a manager . Speciality nursing in different fields/ conditions .
Thank you ladies, love your video always
Any opportunity in the UK or the US I'm in..😊
I moved from Canada 🇨🇦 to Usa 🇺🇸 . Usa persons might say thay the pay is more but you give back all the money back to housing.

As I always say, take everything you see on social media with a grain of salt. Good or bad, don't believe everything entirely, and don't disregard everything entirely.
Shootings happen all the time in London even though guns are illegal.
People just blow this guns in America out of proportion. And it’s ridiculously insane. All depends on the state u live at.
Is it $10/hr or $10/ month pay increase
Per month

All in all, I CANNOT live in America. Security is number one. I follow the American news media, and it’s not funny at all. London is home.
As someone who has lived in both the UK and US what I will say is in the UK you watch an unhealthy amount of news about the US. It's not perfect but it's also not the way it is in the media.
And the way more opportunities I have in the US makes a big difference compared to the UK. The US is 50 times the UK so I can assure you there are many safe areas.
Nanelle now that you have your passport do you see yourself moving to the usa?
She has an ILR for now, not a UK passport.
if the USA banned guns and had a welfare state with affordable educaton then that really would be the American dream. For now i value saftey more than money.
The American Dream is defined by Americans, and we do not want guns banned or a welfare state.
K-12 education is free.
But with welfare state comes higher taxes, lower wages…pros and cons.
Sorry nacelle, but your guest doesn't know what she is talking about.
Interview someone who is well travelled and has lived in both countries with over a decade experience.
Sorry but she sounds ignorant
I’m sorry, but no one could pay me to live in America, especially if Trump gets back in in the next election. I have family who have lived there for decades who are now trying to leave and come to the UK or even relocate back to Africa.
I need a job in UK please you help me
Stay in your own country. UK is full, under alot of pressure. Services struggling due to mass, uncontrolled immigration.
@@SonsofThunder1234😂
How much do Band 5 Nurses earn per year in UK?
Kindly google it
Last time was around 27 thousand pounds it's very little
I love the state but my issue is the security.
So which country is better? USA OR UK
It all depends on your goal in life. If money is the only motivation for you as an individual, then it is the USA.
Usa is better thank Uk

Living in the US, Nanelle would have the benefit of being in the same country with a sizeable chunk of her birth family, as opposed to living in Northern Ireland with only her husband and their child(ren).
Family is a huge draw to the States for her and I totally understand why she may desire to eventually live there.
Both are great countries with amazing potentials as well as their own peculiar downsides. People can choose either, depending on what matters most to them.
You should also ask
How much people
Pay for health insurance.
She may be getting a good deal because of where she works but you will be shocked when you find out how much people pay!
The national average for full coverage health insurance from a private corporation in the United States is $700 a month. If you are earning $5,500, it is not hard to pay.
A national average? For a single yes! For a family? Not!! Ww pay $1500 per month. With deductibles etc!
@ijeomai3746 I am not here to argue with people. That is the national average. In the United States, most people with children have a 2 wage-earner household.
Not sure who is arguing with you. You are making assumptions. You commented on my post. Does the average income apply to everyone? No! People need to understand how this works! Many take it for granted!
I grew up in England, worked for years, emigrated here 20 years ago .So this should not be ignored!
Best to you!
