Nice little list, I can’t wait to see what all you actually do bring home! I like you have a list but it’s usually changing up until the store opens and I come home with things I didn’t expect to lol
I enjoyed seeing what you have your eye on for RSD. I have a huge blind spot with 90s to early 2000s music so I learned a little here. Take care my friend.
Great video, I am super excited for RSD, it's one of my favorite holiday's, thanks for showing me some options, right now the only thing I am for certain picking up is the Gorillaz "Cracker Island" exclusive, I dig that record, thanks again for sharing, have a great RSD I hope you get everything you are after!
Killer video Chance! Wow I’m shocked that no one seems to be after the Malfunkshun release, especially grunge and Pearl Jam fans! It’s easily the album I’m the most excited about, the introduction of Landrew and his Love Rock which continued with Mother Love Bone!! I can’t wait to get it on vinyl!! 👍🤘🤘
I'm gonna try to pick up both the Stones albums and the two Dirty Heads records. Like you Chase, I'll probably end up with more. I will try to get in line early this year. Take care.
The numbers are starting to worry me on the Gandalf. Maybe I shouldn't have featured it here? I can tell you there will not be another 11hr+ wait in line this go round. You headed to Long Island again for RSD?
Well done, enjoyed your take on RSD '24 picks. The Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros debut and one of the other Jackpot release, Wall of Voodoo, might be nice additions.
The Gandalf is the reason I’m getting in line this year, I also want the Willie Nelson Phases and Stages deluxe reissue not that I need it lol since I have an OG and the VMP reissue from last month. Happy RSD hunting to you sir.
I am grabbing that Paramore remix album. Really love the reworking on it. Also trying to grab the live Death Cab and a he 2nd volume of Willie’s birthday celebration.
Sweet! Any interest in that David Byrne/Paramore 12”? It’s unique enough that’s it on my “B” list (ie could easily “jump” in my stack before I check out 😂)
Good luck with the Gandalf mate... hope you secure a copy. It's a unique lp I think. Dreamy ethereal psychedelia without in the main having the usual psychedelic traits, if that makes sense. Good luck with the Parliament lp as well... classic record. One of my first, if not first funk purchases back in 90/91. Cheers...Nige
@@ConcertBuddie It's not something I do to be honest Chance although I have several local shops that partake. I think I've got a total of 2 RSD records which I bought after the event. I was by accident in my local shop when the very first RSD happened and I bought a rare hip hop 12" for way under market value...so I have find memories of RSD 😁. Cheers Nige
Guilty as charged. A thrift find in Austin I meant to give to a friend as a gift…the forgot I still had it. I like the Corey Feldman idea better, haha. I’m a Bobblehead > Funko kind of guy anyhow. Have a great RSD Buddie!

@@ConcertBuddie my main go-to store is Mile Long Records, in Wheaton, IL. I'm friends with the owner, and I'm usually there every Saturday afternoon with a group of friends that I met there many years ago. Are you going to Axpona this weekend? I might go for the first time just to check it out.
I haven't decided if I will even go out this year. I saw the Parliament and Gandalf titles, which made me think twice. The Gandalf is an RSD first so there are plans of more reissues down the line. Parliament is an exclusive. So I might need to get out there?
I'm north of Atlanta. I typically go to Sweet Melissa's in Marietta or Comeback Vinyl in Alpharetta. Mojo Records is in Roswell. Those are probably the 3, I visit most. I rarely make it out to Criminal or Fantasyland in Atlanta.
For Record Store Day, check out “The Bodysnatchers” EP on RidingEasy Records. Remastered from the band’s 1978 release. Austin’s first recorded punk band. Great songs, powerful sound. Recorded and mixed live to 2tk analog tape at Pecan St. Studios.
