we bought the 1000 4 seat limited a few months ago and im not used to all the body roll it has yet. i live near Tacket Creek trails in TN and have had it on some of the easier stuff but watching this video has given me alot more faith in the capabilities of it. We have a RZR turbo s too but i love the RMAXX.
Exactly the type of trails I enjoy! Slow, low gear, thinking type of trails. Would love to make it out to Colorado and to find trails just like this (or this one 😀).
I recently purchased a new 2022 RMAX2 1000 XTR. It's an awesome machine! I'm a Colorado native and currently live on the front range. I'm subscribed and enjoy your videos because I'm always looking for good trails to ride like this one.
I love your videos. I have a question. Does the cab get hot at all. I have a Honda pioneer 1000 and it gets really hot to where your legs feel that they are on fire. I’m thinking on getting a Rmax. Thank you. Frank
I’ve got a Can Am X3 RC (64” wide version) but if Yamaha would of had an RMax a couple years ago I’d of strongly considered one. Two totally different machines I know but that Yammy is a great combination of features and capability. I love my 30” Liberty’s here in the Ozark Mountains, you like them?
The longer wheel base length of the 4 seater does have pros and cons. The two seater does better in the short steep climbs. The 4 seater does better in the longer steeps. The guy in the green two seater is a great driver and can make some tough obstacles look really easy.
In my opinion the travel is much less of an issue than I initially thought it would. If I didn't have kids, dogs, etc I would have bought the 2 seater.
I believe it was Super ATV. It was for the 2020 wolverine and I had to modify it for the 2021 bolt pattern. It is too short IMO. It hit the tailgate and roof. I will be going with a bed extender shortly.
It's hard to see how steep and technical this ride is. The camera really compresses the video. This ride is the most technical we have within 150 miles of where I live. It's recommended that you have minimum of 34" tires to complete trail. We have 30". This trail really was pushing the limits of the Rmax......hence "pushing the envelope"
Just for the record I am not interested in advertising any trails we ride going forward. Social media is quickly getting trails closed through over use and abuse. It doesn't take much effort to figure out where these trails are.
@@jimscang I'm not concerned with what you're interested in. Keep them open through education about trail etiquette instead of secrecy and pretending they belong to you or that only you are allowed to access them. You should be more open to welcoming people that want to join the off-road community. If you're that worried, disable the comments or stop showcasing the trails.

If you were to pick one to only be able to ride what would you pick . I’m on the fence between a sport sxs and the rmax.

Nice work, the Rmax capabilities are truly second to none!
I love trail riding, but this is a little too extreme. Great job, I look forward to more of your videos!!
Are there a quieter aftermarket exhaust options? That thing would be annoyingly loud to ride all day, especially out exploring nature.
Best rmax video I've seen yet
Great vid Desertdweller.
I really like that trail!

Glad you like the vids. Let me know if youi want to meet up for a ride.

The front doesn't get very hot from the engine. The back seats can get warm, especially if your legs touch the center engine cover.
Great video! Could you please tell me what cargo net is on the green XTR?
Good job. How many Polarises were broken along the side of that trail?😁
All of them ! Lol
My kind of trail, beautiful senery and finally a challenging trail
Great video , this is my type of riding. Is the sway bar disconnected on the Rmax 2 ? It seems to flex pretty nicely!
All sway bars removed.
Good driving 👍
That area looks familiar....what state?

I really do like them. They are not verry sticky but they are wearing like iron.
Oh heck yeah, now we're talking
AIR DOWN fellas
What tires are on the blue Remax 4. Don’t look like factor tires. Size too?
Maxxis Liberty 10x30
Do you guys think the rmax4 is handicapped in any way compared to the rmax2 with with the longer rear suspension travel.

What size tires on the rmax4 and do they rub in the rear? looks good
Tires are 30 x 10. Wearing like iron. No rub. Will be upgrading to 32's next season.
That xtr is unstoppable
Lol I guess if I read the description before committing I'd know it's in Colorado. Cheers
You guys rock. I just subbed you
Appreciate that. We are having a blast. Snow is coming, time is limited.
Where did you aquire that spare tire mount for the
R max 4

Great video!
Still waiting for HD to process.
Why can't you say where this trail is? It has signs on it and it's frequently used.
It's Holy Cross OHV Trail
Very cool trail; where were you? And, you removed the front sway bar on both machines, yes?
Sway bars removed on both. Location: Holy Cross
@@jimscang it looked brutal in spots; nicely done!
Great video guys!! Quite the rock obstacles you hammered through. Where is this? I ride mine in Chilliwack BC Canada. Cheers
It's in Colorado near Leadville.
It's called Holy Cross
This is the Holy cross trail in Colorado? 🤔
Maybe....shuuuuush.
Have you done any modifications to the rmax xtr
I will speak for John. He put in 22 gram weights in his cvt and his custom cage. Other than that it's stock.
@@jimscang how does it do with the weights
Very cool!! Were you guys running sway bars?
Rear only.
@@jimscang Rear only?
How is the low range?
I spend 90% of my time in low. That coupled with the D-Mode switch set to crawl or trail it really works great. Plenty of low end torque.
Someone please teach lead driver to pick a line not placing tallest obstacles directly under the belly.
Nice! :)

This is Holy Cross... Not sure why you want to hide it. Tons of people attempt this trail.

You must be young Padawan. These videos are to enjoy. If you need guidance, direction or to be educated than I suggest watching someone else's videos.
