Great video! Now, it makes sense if I'm asked what or where do I want to eat, I usually respond with it doesn't matter or I don't care. However, if asked in a yes or no format, I have no problem answering. I've had some people try to make me feel like I can't initiate suggestions but in reality I'm waiting to respond. I used to always say I make things happen or I specialize in results. What a light bulb moment! 😃

Thank you! This makes so much sense to me! I’m a Generator and very much a “people pleaser” and sometimes I feel guilty if I cannot help someone (I end up with an overwhelming amount of work or people to see). I realised in this last year that I need to cultivate my energy before I give back and also stop saying yes just to please someone. When I’m asked an open ended question it can be/or used to be confusing for me to answer and I would feel stupid because I didn’t have a good response. It’s silly but now I know it’s just not the way a generator responds😆

Omg this was life changing! I always thought i was a “bad” decision maker. This makes it so easy. And now relationships make sense too like why i prefer a man with a plan who initiates, BUT i want veto power lol

This makes so much sense with the YES or NO answer. I'm GREAT at following my intuition of whether I want to do something.. but when my husband asks me "What do you want to do for dinner?" I can never answer, I thought it was because he's picky and always doesn't want what I suggest... but thinking about different areas same type of response. I'm happy with whatever.. I'm not picking, what would you like to do. Etc.
Yup, exactly! I felt this same and it has been so important in understanding even my own personal human design type as a generator, it's not that we "don't care" - we are simply designed differently =)

I have a hard time with being lumped in with a huge group just meant to power everyone else and work. This sounds horrible to me and I am a pure generator. I am trying to understand this HD stuff but I feel really resistant to being boxed in to a 1 of 4 categories. I know there is a lot more to know so I will keep listening.
There is so much more than just this to every design! Though generators create their own energy and this energy gives energy to others we are all so much more than that, you are right! Even with the sun and moon transits happening in different gates all the time as well as how our energy shows up around other's vs. on our own. I am excited for you to learn more as it is quite a rabbit hole and no one video paints the FULL picture =)

Wow this is a great explanation. Thank you. I recognize a lot of things. Feeling abused and immediately guilty about that feeling 😅 I know that my gut tells me everything but when people need an infusion of me I find it very hard to say no. And then I hide haha 🙊.

Thanks so much for providing more information on Pure Generators. I can’t seem to find very much information about us as it all seems geared towards manifesting generators. Can Pure Generators still manifest for themselves??? It seems like we are just worker bee types. 😳
Absolutely we can! Manifestation has to do with our transformation arrows, throat, and specific gates and channels - I have A LOT to say on this and will be making a video on how all of us manifest differently, but the good news is we ALL can manifest, just we do so differently depending on a few different areas of our chart!
I'm a generator but I'm very decisive in most decisions. It took years though.

Hi Sarah. I have a do about RESPONSE for generators. I am a generator and as far as I understood, generators need to respond not initiate. Correct me if I am wrong. If so, doesn't a generator need to think of new ideas for example to scale their business or is it like they only need to respond to new ideas which comes their way?
Great question! Generators can STILL initiate even though their strategy is to respond, rather the way they initiate might be different, for example as a Generator you are only going to want to work on / start something that truly excites you - if a new idea that you want to implement feels exciting and like a big “YES” you will create your own energy to go after it :-)

I just discovered I'm a generator. I get bored with any jobs. What exactly is generator 4/6 mean?
Hi Cindy! Thank you for responding, I have the same profile (the 4/6), which I will link an instagram post to it. If you are before your Saturn Return or have gate 15 (located in the G-center) this is not uncommon, as you may be trying out a lot of different things until you get into that "6-profile" energy which is explained more in the post. If something is boring or not exciting, that is usually the universe nudging you to try something that excites you and gives you energy, otherwise you might feel that not-self theme of frustration and a bit drained! instagram.com/p/CJEaInpjM0_/

No! That is incorrect I’m a generator supposedly and I am not designed to respond to yes or no questions as if I didn’t have a brain of my own like a scarecrow
When I respond to is energy so when I am picking up energy off of someone because I’m a health psychic I feel the need to respond to that by addressing it but it does not apply in the way that you’re saying it does
When I’m finding is that most people who are involved with the human design are extremely confused they cannot clearly explain anything because they don’t understand it themselves
And that leads to more frustration oh wait a minute that’s right frustration is my language apparently and that means I’m onto something no it does not it means that nothing is happening I’m at a standstill I’m repeating the same day over and over the same experiences and nothing is moving forward that’s where frustration comes from from not feeling like I know the next step and am I getting signs from the universe or from other people outside of me no I’m not and if I were I couldn’t say that that was me trust in my intuition and that is not something I’m willing to compromise because someone said I’m a generator
Sorry as you can see I’m frustrated I’m starting to feel like this is kind of Moot to be completely honest I’d rather go back to the way things were before I ever found out about this nonsense

Human Design is not one size fits all as there are billions of combinations and we are constantly growing into our charts with age as well as experiencing sun and moon transits that change daily. I took a free quiz n it spit out--'Generator. Your description to me is laughable, I am not a ppl pleaser, I can answer open ended questions and when ppl can't make a decision around food that annoys me. I don't say yes, when I mean no.
Hello, thank you for your thoughts! There is a lot to Human Design so not everything will resonate, that is the fun in it - our Human Design chart shows up differently as well based on our environments meaning you may be a "generator" or perhaps a "manifesting generator" in some scenarios, etc. At the end fo the day I always encourage that everyone do what feels best regardless! I am curious though as there is no quiz for HD, rather there are charts you can pull - did you use these? Also, some of the chart sites use military time vs. AM/PM, so you may potentially be a different HD type! I have linked 3 different free options in my description box.
