The discussion will delve into the ways in which filter context impacts the authoring of DAX measures, including how it can affect the behavior and results of measures. Furthermore, Mitchell will explain how advanced measures can be created by overriding or modifying the default filter context in order to achieve more sophisticated and precise calculations. This session promises to provide valuable insights and techniques for mastering the nuances of filter context in DAX, empowering attendees to create powerful and flexible measures in their analysis of data.

Absolutely sensational tutorial on filter evaluation context. I am at earlier stage of my power bi journey and I am glad to have found the stuning tutorials on the daunting DAX and evaluation context by Michell Petersen. Now, on creating Total US Sales measure, mint 24:17, using calculate(), Mr Business Enginner, " is suggesting using the Sum×() instead, in creating table" . Where does this fit in? Could you kindly write the equivalent expression showing how it works and produce the same results?

Is there a way to get a completion certificate, some kind of acknowledgement of attendance?

Seems to me the total row issue with YTD is a bug in powerbi. I think it’s reasonable that this is confusing because it is poor implementation
