In this vlog we check out everything that this family theme park has to offer including on ride POV's from many of the different rides. This includes Dingo Racer, a fantastic family spinning coaster and SX 360, a well themed thrill ride located at the top of the park. Recently introduced my 86 yr old mum to your Channel. She loves it and every night she asks if there are anymore videos. Thought I recognised space shaker, it used to be on the top floor of the Myers Centre in Brisbane. I went on it when I was 8, so nearly 30 years ago. Nice to see it still around, although the location isn't quite as good. Used to dangle over the centre which had food court at the bottom - 4 or 5 floors up.
I was never brave enough as a kid to ride it at tops glad its still about tho
Space shaker was actually an indoor swinging ship ride at the top of the Myers shopping center in Brisbane. The location was fantastic as every swing you would see the full height of the multi level shopping center....It must have been 4 or 5 stories.. the ride itself was made to shoehorn into that spot, and is not intense, but was great simply because of the crazy height when swinging. Obviously, being moved to a ground level location really shows how uneventful the ride is.
The one thing I take away from Aussie World - bin bags 🤣 Thanks so much for taking us all on this epic journey, you both deserve it!! Keep on ridin’ !

Super proud of Charlotte going on all the water rides which she not a fan of . Boost her confidence up to have more rides on Popeye if u go back to Florida this year.

Thanks for sharing your honest thoughts and opinions of Aussie world it means a lot from a theme park enthusiast as I went passed this several times during my family Aussie vacation, oh my days that maze was bizarre with hidden rooms also the log flume ride what a soaker of a ride Aussie world is a cute unique park, As for the food it was quite expensive the fish and chips are amazing could you taste the chicken salt on your chips? 🍟 Aussie food is incredible, great vlog both of you

I really like Aussie World it isn't huge but has some really fun items like
that maze.
It's too bad some things were closed, but it's well thought out and family nice..
Too bad there weren't more people their this day, but I'm sure that's not always the case.
The dunny race made me smile, back here in Bellingham, WA we have a Bed Race every year as a charity event.
I play racing themed music with a small group called the Ebbtides and participants have to push Hospital Type Beds, with one person in the bed, around a course.
IT's a lot of fun!

Loved the fact you pair went to Aussie world … and loved it … it’s so AUSSIE..! … Shawn the space shaker was originally from inside the 6th level over the edge drop in the Myer center atrium in Brisbane city in the 80’s…. The scary thing was it hang over the edge of the mall ..

Great vlog, i'd have to say if I were to ever make it there, I think I'd be most interested in the illusionarium. Looked like a very unique cross between an old school fun house and a modern escape room!

Nice small family park. Dingo racer was a nice ride (I remember being scared to death on a mouse ride on the seafront in Southsea in the sixties. I thought the first drop was going to take more into the sea before the turn - 😂). I’m with Charlotte on riding SX 360. Charlotte is also committed to the wet rides on this trip. 😂. Serious looking fish & chips Shawn. Very trippy experience on professor boggleworth’s illusionariun. Nice pub outside the park. Did you visit the fudge shop? Off to watch you in the zoo now.

Loving your Australia series. Hopefully you are heading to luna Park Sydney. Possibly the best views from any coaster. Sad it was closed when I recently visited. Good reason to go back though!

So cool! I went on the mouse coaster back when i was 12-13 about 15-16 years ago
Well you are lying the wild mouse was torn down and replaced with a common Reverchon spinning mouse in the very late 2010's. This park isn't worth any enthusiasts time now as the sole thing it had going for it (the rare wooden wild mouse) is gone. I actually skipped this park on my Australia trip deliberately as its a worthless park.

That illusionarium looks really cool but I'd have to ask ahead to have a member of staff walk through with me. I got diagnosed as autistic and I def couldn't handle getting confused/lost - would love the illusion effects but not the puzzle. I'd have to see if they could skip me through the strobe light bit too so I wasn't in there too long.

It's that strong British £ brother, right now you can buy a Australian $ for 0.57 Pound sterling. Great time to be a Brit down under brother, enjoy... On that note, if you're planning a trip to the states you're in pretty good shape, One USD will cost you 0.81 Pound sterling. must be nice to be a traveling Brit these days. If memory serves, you still owe your faience and your bucket list a few nights at Hotel Breakers. Cedar Point's Opening Day is Saturday, May 6, 2023. Silverwood Theme Park will open on May 6th, 2023 that's five coaster credits which includes a RMC single rail, and several nice flats, oh, and if you were to contact RMC you may get a tour, it's just down the road about 12 miles.

ooh i love the illusion house, it was all great, but i did do research on why you cant film in the haunted mazes, is bcuz they dont want outsiders to film stuff and copy it all and take credit, if in case you were wondering why as well, i am sure you know

Hi Shawn, Looks like a great vlog, haven’t being able to watch yet but I have a question what app or website do you use to edit your videos? As starting my UA-cam channel back up I’m wondering how you do it.

I like the videos you create, but I honestly was a bit disappointed by what I saw via this video in this park as would of thought it had bigger and better attractions & be a park at the same size as Alton Towers Resort, being one of the main big parks for Australia. Think if invested a bit more with a major new development it could be like Merlin Parks, but yeah bit at the moment disappointed with what type of park I saw. Was expecting bigger types of coasters, rides and attractions like we see at UK Merlin Parks aswell Blackpool Pleasure Beach. By the way, park has some good rides, aswell staff are epic. But ride line-up is a bit bland, could do with more exciting line up maybe a new permanent type coaster for families to enjoy? To work alongside current rides & coasters, like a Wooden coaster? Runaway Coaster? Or something unique & different? But good vlog, really enjoyed parts of video, cheers. 😀👍

Just a point for the water not running down the drops on these water rides. The water effects at almost All Australian parks have been toned back a lot due to water saving measures. Even as you've seen Wild West Falls at Movie World, the water effects on that have been dialed back significantly unfortunately.
