I had my eye on this waiting for it to become available and you have made me pull the trigger on it…Awesome review and TY for your hard work bringing quality content to us YT consumers 😊
Thank you so much and thanks for watching!
Chopin was love at first listen for me as well. I kept turning it up, and it kept sounding better - dangerous!! It remains one of my most used IEMs - I listen to it with the Mojo 2/Poly Combo and the timbre has me in heaven every time.
Thanks for your review! Amazing vid production. I’m trying to decide between this and the performer 5. I’m mostly focused on neutral and clear sound. I’ll use this IEMs for music production Anna play electric guitar sporadically. What would you recommend? Thank you! It’s been so hard to choose without being able to listen !! Thanks for your take!
thanks for the review! How's this compared to the Kato?
Kato has been around for a while now and still my top pic for 150-200 ish range and also I'm just wondering how's this set compared to the Kato
Eagerly awaiting the review of the Quintets about which I have been hearing a lot ....
Lucky you, you don't have to wait since he already reviewed it
Man absolutely love your overall presentation and production. Can’t wait to see a Simgot EA1000 review from you
i'd be really curious about a comparison with ea1000 with the chopin if you have them
Great review :) I agree that this hobby is highly subjective, so some bias is bound to happen.
Agree! Thanks for watching!
Great video. Does anybody know the name of the track playing the background at the start of the video?
Dave, if you were to have one, in sound quality, what would your choice? Chopin or Performer 5? Only one...
How is it compare to EM6L & Celest PHEONIXcall. Especially staging and bass quality.
See the akros review, he says Chopin is a little better
@@1fareast14 yeah I have seen thanks
Have the yume II already love them with ss tips and shio dac tho don't know if it's worth it to buy Chopin and not a different Type of tuning in this price range.
Same boat, but I have a performer 5 and mangird tea 2.
@@Hijynx87 guess I wait for the upcoming tanchjim oxygen 2 since knowing the original one has a different signature than yume II .
@@Spike626721I'm wanting to pick up the Yume II but I havent seen much about them. I'm a metal head so I have to be cautious with the iem's I get
How does it perform against Aria ?
WOW!!!
is it good for gaming?
How about BA timbre?
Just a small amount, for those who are sensitive to it, they may hear it. Thanks for checking out the review!
does it have any warmth?
Its not what I would consider warm. Thanks for checking out the review!
Get the em6l or falcon ultra if you want a great warm set. I’ve heard good things about tangzu fudu as well, but that set lacks a soundstage and detail. It makes up for it in musicality though.
Nice review. I love my P5 and the look of it. Chopin's tuning was very good but the look could have been better. Thanks, Dave.
Thanks for checking out the review!
Thank you ! Wish to see comparison CHOPIN with EA500LM
Hi very fair and unbiased review 👍 Timmy has done well 2 out of 2 can't wait to get a pair.
Thanks for watching!
$200 is a lot of money for many of us but i hope one reviewer will finally have the courage to say that a chopin+$10 apple dongle will sound better for a total of $210) than a good $90 iem such as ea500lm+$120 dac such as ka17 for the same $210 total
It’s all about what you find worth it. You could always get these and get the dac later for an overall even better experience. Or just the cheaper ones. Sky is the limit
Not for rock. That mid bass tuck is not for me.
Ea1000 it is I guess! I thought the Chopin has midbass though, hmm.
Have you tried the em6l? That set is great for rock and metal. I haven’t heard kiwi ears melody, but based on the graph it looks like a good time. I heard a demo from dans audio reviews and it sounded terrible though, but most bassier sets sound like crap on his demos.
@@Hijynx87 above 200hz. Flat. Great for low volumes. For higher. Nope
@Hijynx87 yes I did. Great with the low end. But the treble amd upper mids is too much when volumes goes up to 80 dB and above. All about the volumes
@Hijynx87 I have over 80 sets of iems. Been Into audio and I was a music producer for many years. Some times I laugh about what reviewers says. All the time I head mud the mids with miss bass when in the fact the impact for a drums for example starts from the mids then into mid bass frequency and then the resonance of that instrument finish in the sub bass. So when you see an iem that the sub bass glides down from 80hz to 20hz then they know what they doing, but reviews talk about that matter always in a wring way thinking that the 60hz is the bass and the 300hz is the bass guitars when its nothing to do with that. Theb the fact when volumes goes up by 10db the think elements to sound like uppers mids and treble increase by 3 dB so an simgot 6 can be brutal in spark when volumes goes up. But I love the fact that has tuning nozzles. Because I mod with sponge filters,, not filter mesh, note that, to change the tuning with high density filters. Then I can play high volumes without sparking my ears, so yes. Reviewers should rate by the volume. Every iem has a volume point that's perfect. If I buy the chopin . And listen to medium volumes. Perfect. High volumes you needs more mid bass and less 3k to 10k to be less to give meat to the tone.
Chopin ….😂😂😂😂 so pretentious .avoid
