Unbelievable what work was done with this classic Mustang. Great passion and perseverance. Thanks for this really great documentary; fascinating, impressive, inspiring and finally very well staged and filmed - Thanks 👍😀
Props for taking on a project like this. That thing was rotten. Your welding needs some work. Replace the nozzle tip (should be there) then try to dial in the wire speed and voltage on some scrap metal or you might be doing all of this again down the road.
Congrats Tom! it's been a long road and i've enjoyed watching you along the way. How much more do you have to do? Hopefully it will be ready to roll come spring time! can't wait to see that first drive.
*maybe* I will drive it in my driveway by summer, but it won't be street legal for awhile yet. Still gotta do: rear frame rail repair, gas tank, suspension, body repair (at least enough to pass state inspection). And then there's still plenty to do after that, ha. Glad you like the videos.
holy SHIT man wow ,,wow wow,, thats amazing .stuff sir, great hard work , love it.. wonderful , job , thanks ,,man ,Looking foward ,like you ,,to see you drive IT,
Thankful they don’t salt the roads here in the PNW. My project is a 65 with the cheapest Falcon running gear: anemic 6-cylinder with a floor shift 3-speed. The entry level, sold for about $1900 when new. This will be my Granddaughter’s daily driver when I’m done…
I recommend you going back in the interior and putting foil sound deadening matt in whole car and trunk it's a must those mustang seep moisture a lot in panels
I had one of those locking shifter handles. The black button broke off. Called the company and talked to the designer, he sent me 3 new buttons. All 3 broke also! This was during one summer. Called again, number out of service! The adds in Ford & Mustang Magazine also disappeared. Flop! Went back to the original handle. Just beware, bud.

This video made my latest project look less poopy and life ruining... thanks for the boost. You're doing an awesome job.... Cheers from the Shed
"I tried 2024" Thanks for making me smile.

Found rats nest in my frame rail too
After the last 60's Mustang I restored , I was ready for a mental health facility.
Make America beautiful. Restore a Mustang.

I noted the button looked a little cheap. I'll keep my original handle in the trunk as a backup. Thanks
Great work. Did you use flux core for all of the welding?
Yep! I'm still learning.
@ no judgement here. Strictly motivation. I’m going to start on my projects now that I see flux core can actually do sheet metal.
Check out @bondobilly UA-cam channel. He does surprisingly clean work with flux.
I have a set of 68 kick panels if you need them, gladly send them your way
Well ok
I want to buy your music
