Having recently binged most of his videos, the thing that is amazing to me, besides of course the knowledge and skill in auto repair, or amazing cinematography, is that he doesn’t freak out and swear when stuff goes wrong. I’ve worked on cars and other stuff for years and when you make a mistake that wastes time, or stuff you buy doesn’t fit, or fails, it’s aggravating. Maybe he’s just really conscious of being on camera, but that is so hard! I am so emotionally invested in my car repair stuff because it’s generally fixing up old cars that family will drive, I can’t help but get emotionally angry. So I have the utmost respect for this guy. Even when his project caught on fire! “I just gotta let it go…” AND he was out on the ice?! Call him Elsa Fordman!
You need a Merch shop with a tee that says Let It Go, with a arctic cat on fire

I saw you blocked the overflow pipes on the bottom of the carburetors they should have long pipes going away from the engine to the outside then if a float sticks it doesn't put fual in the airbox and set fire just goes out the overflow and you smell it before it sets on fire hopefully i love your videos also sorry you lost your snowmobile

So much love and care went into this machine. Sometimes we question ourselves and our capabilities. From experience I can tell you I too caught my rig on fire once but was lucky enough to have access to a fire extinguisher. You have balls for not only fixing the Cat but posting the video. A real man isn't afraid to admit when an honest mistake is made.

Wow! What a video! I know I can only echo what everyone else has said “These Things Happen” (to almost everyone whoever put a hand to a wrench and over torqued a bolt/stud/nut, etc… ). Forgive me, but out of the “Ashes” comes knowledge, more experience, wisdom you pay for, but can’t be purchased with money directly. What you take away from this very much human error, is perspective on every job you ever do or attempt. Will something like this ever happen again? My money is not very damn likely! 👍😎. Sometimes we pay to learn in cash, sometimes in time & effort, sometimes in flesh & blood. Thank God none of the last items. You are so talented, hard working, your videos are just so good. Thank you for sharing this with us, your viewers. Everyone says it, you are not alone in these things, we’ve all had things like this go off the rails. It happens, you learn huge amounts of perspective, you mentally kick yourself a couple of times, and get back up, and keep moving forward 😎😇👍. Thanks again for your great videos.

Damn. Sorry your experience was amplified by your inexperience but you did good work. Glad you're ok. It happens from time to time to the best of us.

Look at it this way at least your Chevy Camaro never caught on fire! Then again I don’t think you drove it, but I still enjoy watching your interesting choices of projects. Thank you.

I'm not sure when the last time I cried watching a UA-cam video was... But sweeping the remains out of the truck bed got me right in the feels.
It's a terrible loss, but I'm sure you will find a way to let her beating heart live on in memory 💔

I knew an O.P.P. (Ontario Provincial Police) officer who was on the diving unit. Glad you're okay as it could've been much worse. Looking forward to Part II.
