- I cannot believe this happened. I remember sitting in my house in my small town when I was in high school, WISHING, to make dresses for red carpets, and today my dream came true. After all the trials and tribulations, persistence and believing in my craft paid off! Never give up , and never stop dreaming!

Do they still ask that? I remember a few years ago when people were pushing interviewers at these red carpet events to ask about more than or something besides "What/Who are you wearing", and I wasn't sure if they started doing that or not.

I, however, am not gonna dox her history bc y’all are upset that I’m proud to see someone I knew since high school get out of Appalachia and be on the red carpet of the Grammys. That’s hella impressive to see that girl succeed, and I’ve always been a fan of her talent, even 16 years ago. Chill. It ain’t that deep. I was just excited to see her pop up on my favorite designer on here AND see her attend the Grammys.

Your mint green gown for the Grammys is amazing, but the gown you created with flowers that changed from green to blue in the sunlight might always be my favorite. It was truly genius.
I am sorry that looked horrible, Ill fit and incomplete. It looked like someone wore a corset and forgot the bottom part. Nice colour though. The orange tape needs to go as well

looks pretty cool. only thing that’s super odd and looks out of place is the orange stripe. it kinda looks like tape that someone forgot to take off and with its alarming colour it really takes the eyes away from the rest of the stunning dress. I adore the dress colour though as it reminds me of mermaids/seafoam and the floaty part is like a jellyfish.
Thought the same thing. A pastel purple sash would have complimented the colour of the dress better and tied in with the flowers. The orange strip looks so odd, really want to know what inspired him to choose that colour.

I don't know who the Grammy artist is, so that makes me a person who has no preconceived notions about her. Personally, I don't like the gown. I like the parts of the gown, but not once it's all put together. It's missing something. Also, I don't think that it flatters the grammy artist's body. The gown does not make her body look better. I think it actually accents what she doesn't want to be accented.
I love Sierra! She has the voice of an angel & the vibe of a mermaid! The dress is stunnnnnnning!

I have a playlist of saved things (long form videos and shorts) and that list is called “crafty bitch”. Not only am I a musician who feels she has failed and stalled and plateaued over and over again, but I’m also a fiber artist who LOVES to create and wants to create both for myself and others - however , I’m filled with doubt stemming from struggles along the way. There are little victories though! Every little victory has the most incredible, self affirming, winner feeling and your video just gave me the chills and a happy hopeful tear as a reminder to keep going.

I remember when I made my prom dress and was very very nervous but when I read the comments on my mom’s Facebook of ppl complementing it i literally broke down sobbing it was the proudest moment of my life. I hope that’s exactly how you feel right now!!

Like if there was a way to hide the corset from waist-down, I'd love it that much more! (This is NOT a knock to your obvious talent though, just my personal preference.) If I was her, I'd be thrilled to wear one of your designs no matter what. Nonetheless if it was me though, seeing the corset from waist-down would make me feel very exposed and look rather unflattering on me* 😂
