Tier Bracer + Hungering cold to tanks first (single largest increase to raid DPS as it lets MT use GoA)
Tier + Kiss to Rogues first
Slayer trink + Gressil to DPS warriors first
Honestly, I would argue that if your Horde LC, you should prio Gressil/Kiss to Warriors.
Why? - Because rogues whilst rogues are competing for the full tier sets in naxx, they also have multiple dagger options, neck and rings. Whilst horde warriors (due to edgies not working on maces for example or whilst there's 1 axe, there are 3 potential dagger drops) have a lot fewer viable opportunities for real upgrades. And if you're going to argue that it brings more damage for rogues. Remember that warriors bring more for raids both in terms of DPS output and usability for off-tanking roles... and in theory, if you did want to really min/max a naxx speed run.. you would bring all dps warriors and zero rogues... Either way, it's the end of classic and share loot to make people happy

Hm kinda disagree with u at dat cthun belt thingy, cuz as alliance sword u wanna swap in t3 belt and just stay with t2,5 chestpiece -> sims better than cthun belt and t3 chest, dunno about horde swords
With kings/ZG yes. Without the ZG buff, T3 chest and cthun belt are better.
Theyre both very minimal dps differences
warrior 2 set is very worth it for tanks, not the 4 set. It increases revenge threat by a shit ton since it has a huge threat modifier
Finished watching the video, again I say just grab what you can get, before people quit and you don't have enough people to do naxx anymore. I hope even though I'm a dps warrior, I would love to have tier 3 set for tbc. Most likely have to either reroll or tank as there will only be 2 or 3 warriors in a raid instead of 8+
The Reel is enough for horsemen
Reel with Challenging shout as back up
Reel with Mocking Blow as back up
and if your super worried take 2/2 improved taunt and go in 1 second earlier to allow 2 taunts before a swap is mandatory.
Now i can understand our Fury prot wars wanting 2 set (chest/bracer) as its a TPS + Mit increase but anything more than that and anything more than 2 warriors max with it first over rogue is a big no no for competent dps. saying that i would prior Bracer/Chest to your MT/OT simply because Bonescythe chest is not as good as death dealer once world buffed and the Bracers your going to give to your MT/OT anyways might as well get them the revenge increase from 2 set.

Much less rambly and quicker to the conclusions than Skarm's loot prio vid, but he touches on more points overall, such as "X class got Y item in AQ, so they should be lower prio for Z item in naxx". Both are good, but different.

with world buffs and kings, alliance sword rogues will use T3 belt over cthun belt and use T2.5 chest for more stats rather than AP.

Guess Ill be going for the T3 rogue belt since cthun only dropped a single belt of never ending agony in all our runs and it went to our feral tank.
Belt is only good on horde, on alliance you skip on the chest.
So why aren't you going for THC in OH with your TF MH? It's a bigger DPS increase for you as a non-human than Gressil MH TF OH (Unless you are planning on getting both swords eventually)

Slavemaker is 3dps uograde for most melees. Most of the 1handers that Hunter wont be able to get is more then a 3dps uograde. So if u wanna gear for effiecent raids use ur brain fist wep off saph is Hunter prio first since we pass Ibiss

I would put bear druid and war on same tier of need for kids of the spider, but if warriors dont agree thank god I'm in a dkp guild and naxx only has 3 other upgrades for me only 1 that I have contentions for
why is cthun cloak better on humans?
Blessing of Kings on alliance side makes stats-based items better. A lot of non alliance players assume you'd go human if you're melee so they conflate the two pretty frequently.

For Kiss, I think Ally tanks should not be top prio. Horde tanks have a real case. Especially the bears since they have no weapon to incease their threat from Naxx.

I wish Sarthe had a better knowledge of Hunters. T3 gloves are better than rank 12. Leggings of Apocalypse are BiS. And he didn't even talk about Eye of Nerub or Corrupted Ashbringer being our 1A and 1B weapons.

quick question about The Hungering Cold. What if there is a warrior who is not orc and without edgemasters and still pumping in the raid? Should they get prio?

Hunters don’t want Kiss of the Spider. For much the same reason they don’t want DFT. Both have hit, which is irrelevant, so you generally try to ignore the hit on both ESPECIALLY if you’re doing trinket swaps. Kiss of the Spider is good, yes, but as with DFT, it is sooooo much better in the hands of melee.
The hit cloak is alright, but hunters that want hit on a cloak will use the AQ20 set cloak, especially with kings/wbuffs
Actually thats not the real reason. The problem besides the fact that they can swap trinkets is the haste itself. Kiss for hunters is closer to Earthstrike in value compared to other trinkets. Hunter scaling with haste is pretty shit.

Hunters can trinket swap, so they shouldn't be overlooked for trinkets.
Hunters can trinket swap yes, but they barely get half the benefit than your melee will. In our guild, our two veteran hunters got prio on jom gabbar (we've seen one so far) but they won't get prio on slayers crest, kiss of the spider or the KT trinket at all.
Hunters are overlooked because there damage is so far behind,a T3 fully BiS hunter will never beat a phase 2 BWL/MC geared Fury Warrior.
Im a Hunter main i agree we wont Beat war/rogue Even with the new world buff upgrade we should get jom gabbar and bagde couse afk warrrios dont do much dps on trash like we do when pulling and trinket swapping also fist wep from saph is 100% Hunter pro first same as t3 on horde side

Kiss is meh for hunters, cloak of the fallen god > shroud of dominion with wbuffs, leggings of the apocalypse are better than t3 for us, and we probably will compete on the band of unnatural forces if we're going for the eye of nerub (8.8% hit set). You really should study up more on our class before releasing a prio video!
Also Slayers Crest sims at a ~31 dps increase for hunters since we can trinketswap, 10 more than rogues. So by your logic we should have prio, not rogues :)

The only thing I don’t like about this video is not everyone is a speed running guild, so survival is important, and mitigation is still kind of a important thing. Also you forgot about enhancement shamans 🤣 good video though man!! Love your stuff!

Horde DPS Warriors should not use fast OH as it desyncs Heroic Strike queing with Off hand
TF is the best off hand for Alliance Warriors
Hungering Cold becomes the best off hand for Horde as Gressil outweighs the Desync penalty
for all Fury Prot TF main hand Hungering Cold off hand is the best for both Alliance and Horde (though slightly better for Horde by comparison).

Tbh, I am a feral tank (main tanked everything) and to me it's merely a sidegrade if I ever want to go full on mitigation. You are already managing your gear around armor cap at this point and if you have accuria and dft, hit is also not really all that valuable. So my verdict is pass... I wait till Kiss of the Spider and only take it if it gets disenchanted anyway.

Kiss of the spider is a hunter item. Sure in sims it does great for other classes. HOWEVER sims are not players and some players just suck.

Well other trinkets are better for us hunters. It sims even not as good as for example earthstrike - which is also a liitle above mediocre for hunters right now in Phase (ES is stronger for other classes). Badge, Jom, Slayers and especially the KT trinket are the better choices. Regarding personal and raid dps - kiss of the spiders should go to rogues and warriors first.
just hope people even take hunters to Naxx, Bench mafia

It sims crap for hunters, lower than ES, and will just make weaving even wonkier
F for us Enhancement Shaman mains, being excluded from every single Loot Prio list on UA-cam.

@@xirzx9028 A well executed Enhancement shaman with good gear can actually pump damage if he knows what he's doing (600-1200dps). of course not as hard as warriors or rogues, but he brings about 50+ dps to every warrior/rogue in his party if he's totem twisting. So if he's doing 900 dps, brings 4 members in his party 50+ dps each, that means he's pumping an effective 1100 dps. If he gets lucky WF procs it can go up towards 1200 + 200, so 1400 effective dps. Wouldn't be calling it a meme at that point tbh.
@@stebbZv Why would a guild take enhancement shaman when it can have a resto shaman or even ele. Enhancement is a meme spec in PvE in Classic. Enjoy TBC 😉
Elemental is actually a top 5 DPS right now overall, Enhance however is just a PvP Montage joke. now if you want to be Elemental Enhance thats fine either way nothing ever touchs Warrior > Rogue in terms of loot prio for all of Classic.
@@jasonu3741 That's a good point Jason. Elemental is doing good now in AQ40 but was bad in earlier phases. Yeah in top 5 in this order 1. Warrior 2. Rogue 3. Mage 4. Warlock 5. Elemental
Man... off the bat... honestly seems biased towards rogues for tier pieces. Also saying feeding 1 rogue or other class is honestly a bad idea. Been through this as a warrior where people just quit after getting their bis. If people get ALL their bis off the bat, "hey I beat the game. Taking a break until TBC".

Immediate rogue bias on warrior t3 even though warrior taunt hit chance. Reel wont cap it and every speedrun guild will have warriors using t3 4pc and reel together. Spoken like a true rogue main.
Everyone is in agreement that the odds are missing a taunt with Reed that will cause a wipe are so small T3 on warrior is literally useless. It'll be dead before you know it.

using the reel, you'd have to miss 2 taunts in a row for it to be a problem, HIGHLY unlikely.
@@MMA-mh9uv the chance for it to happen on any given switch is 0,49%, but you gotta multiply it with the number of times you switch. Lets say you can get backup-tanks once mograine is dead (which is generous, IMO), so we will count the first 4 switches, for a total of 16 tank-swaps. Now the chance for a failed tank swap to happen is over 7%. If we say we gotta have Thane dead as well before we truly can have backups (probably 20 tank-switches?), you'll have a taunt-fail almost 1-in-10 attempts, which is starting to get pretty scary.
I've told my OTs, especially the ones on blameaux, and zeliek, to farm one item with stam and +spell hit, such as the soul corruptors necklace, zanzil's band, or the shroud of arcane mastery. (especially the shroud sacrifices very little tanking stats), to make luck be less inclined to screw us over.
@@haldir108 with the dps we output, I just dont see it being a problem. They'll get nuked before tanks run into taunt resist issues. Prioritizing 8 tanks 4 pieces of T3 is gonna piss off your rogues, since they wear T3 100% of the time vs warriors wearing T3 for one fight. Like every fight so far in classic, players are so much better today and bosses die extremely fast. None of our melee even wear NR gear for Huhu anymore because we just nuke her down so fast.
