My favorite Civivi. I have the micarta/blackout & micarta/damascus model. There are no faults for the way I use a knife. Love the handle, love the flipper, love the button. Thanks for your cogent and well presented review.

I have the green and black conspirators. the blade is a great knife for skinning and breaking down big game to back pack out of the bush. light weight, hold the edge long enough if you do not cut into bone. yes they are hard to clean up vs fixed blade but the weight savings in all the other stuff in a day pack. it's just a tool but it works for me. great content !
You have convinced me to buy that Nova and this. I’m going with it for sure now.

Thank you Stassa23! I really appreciate your helpful reviews. I actually considered this one against the Honoris and decided to try the Honoris because I think k could like the liner lock better. Have one coming tomorrow. It’ll be my largest knife to date. Looking forward to trying it out. Peace!
Honoris is an awesome knife, my favorite spidey flick. But it's so snappy you have to lock tight it because it doesn't have a locking pivot.

This is a great knife - I have the green micarta/black blade with black milled Ti clip. The action is free-swing/glassy (I disassembled, cleaned and used some nano-oil 10), the ergos are good for lg hands, no button stick and gets very sharp. If I lost it, I wouldn't hesitate to replace it.

@@elde667not necessarily. If they use s35 it'd be closer to 199.99 or so. Either way that's a fair price. $300 maybe if it was in 20cv and had some inlays but even that's steep for we knife now. Since the pandemic hit they haven't been releasing nearly as many models in the $300 plus dollar range.
Closest thing would probably be WE Subjugator. $225.
@@commandlion8667 it's similar, but with a frame lock and thumb studs, and I think the blade is a little less tall. I'm about to order a Conspirator, can't wait to compare the two. Love my Subjugator.
I'm glad now that I did not buy the Altus , I do like the knife but this Conspiritor is much better and more my size and style
Great review! I’d love to have this same knife with the green micarta. My hands are a bit small and my perfect blade is 3.25 inches…
Did I miss the Kizer assassin review? I saw this review and the Civivi Altus' and wondered how the assassin compares. This conspirator does look good.
Definitely my favorite civivi. Stonewash not bead blast, micarta not g10, and lockup and action is great. Just wish the “detent” was stronger. (I like stiff detents)

Looks awesome. I knew right away you hated the elementum before you brought it out. The reason you hate it is the reason I love it. Wish the elementum came in nitro v. Love this channel and your testing as well!
14c is a great steel on any knife under 100$ nitro V is great too. Id probably take 14c though
Thanks, good to know. I'm 56 and still not great at sharpening. It seems easy enough if I keep up on it. Dirk pinkerton is making a tangram brevis for me in nitro v and upscale 10 percent. It will be my first nitro v knife. I also own a joker avispa in 14c flat grind I like.
This reminds me so much of a skinny scaled shaman.
I wasn't sure about this one because of my Cogent. The only thing that would get me to get it would be to find out that the action is better. I've had my Cogent apart several times and never had any problems with centering. Still, I might consider this in the future. Thanks man!
I have 2 of each model. If you’re looking for the better action…stick with the Cogent which is much snappier. The Conspirator is just as slick but softer and slower. I prefer the Conspirator for the handle which is perfect for my grip, and it has that tall drop point blade.
@@davidmathews2124 I love my Cogent, but I carry my Chevalier every day because the blade shape works better for my work.
If you can have 1 EDC and you have to choose between the Civivi Conspirator and NOx, which one will you take and why? Would you go for a Damaskus blade or a stonewashed Nitro-V?
I bought my first Civivis and Wes ever with a Baby Banter and carbon fiber Banter. That Baby Banter is not bad. I cannot wait to receive the carbon fiber Banter this week.
I also bought Civivi Mini Elementum. That’s a great keychain knife.

Hello! Was wondering if the artisan titanium clip you put on your elementum would fit on the conspirator? I see there are different styles, so if so could you tell me which one to order? Thank you for all the great content!

Please test the strength of a button lock. I have questions about the strength and durability of them.
What's your opinion over all of Nitro V? This will be my first knife with it.
Wish it was in g10. Micarta is ok, just don't really like the way it looks. G10 just looks cleaner imo
Is there a milled clip that fits on Civivi knives? Maybe the CJRB milled clip?
I think I'd heard that they do. I swapped clips with my Kancept Main Street so my Conspirator has a black milled clip now

There is a civivi titanium pocket clip listed on Amazon, and even a bundle for the knife that includes the clip
How would this compare to the somewhat less expensive Xtouc button lock knife you reviewed?
Or the Sencut Sasche for that matter. I am torn between the 3 knifes. I initially liked the Civivi Praxis, but I think I like the Conspirator more. So I will just buy all 4.. 😂😂 but which would you buy first lol

I bought an Altus. What's better Cogent or Conspirator?
I've got both and I prefer the Cogent. Super snappy. Opens at quick as my Protech TR3. I've had it and used it for several weeks. Sharpened up nice after I dulled it with use.
I like the g10. Nice and grippy. Flipper is perfect and detent is good too.
This knife in m390 would be perfect. Don't really have any experience with nitro-v
I honestly think the super steel fade is overrated. Most people use a folding pocket knife for easy simple non abusive things. Nitro V is much easier to sharpen then M390 and more corrosion resistant. I think nitro V as far as a regular user folding knife is better.
@@SMS2884 I see both sides. Nitro V is more than enough for the type of knife users buying this knife. Because it's mostly going to be a fidget toy and the once in a while of opening a package or cutting a apple. But who would say no to a better steel. Anything but Luke warm m390 though.
@@SMS2884 M390 is more corrosion resistant than Nitro V.
@@sheltermonkey6065 well I own an m390 blade that I carry. I also own a nitro V folder that I carry. Only the m390 has ever shown any signs of rusting
@@SMS2884 Have you tested that it is actually M390? M390 is much more corrosion resistant than Nitro V. knifesteelnerds has a page on Nitro V.

This knife is trash I bought it along with a miguron AKRI and a sitivien 124 ....they're both the nicer knives compared to the conspirator ...horrible lock stick and the blade is heavier than the handle...all in all it just feels cheap and poorly made and the others feel and operate like I spent over 100 bucks on them ....I like civivi knives but this being my first one 😂 I won't buy another ....don't waste your money. These UA-camrs get paid by these companies...even when they tell YOU that they don't
First off I don’t get paid anything from any knife companies and second I actually test the knives on video if you haven’t noticed but I’m sure you probably didn’t watch. I own several Sitivien knives and MIGURON and I’ve tested and reviewed most of them. I haven’t received a single Miguron that didn’t have issues some worse than others both there high end and low end knives and Sitivien there not bad but non that I own are anywhere near the quality of the Conspirator but who knows maybe all the ones I own and tested were just duds are maybe you got a bad Conspirator but either way if you watched my channel you would know I tell it like I see it after testing and carrying the knives.
