I did some research on that webbing and apparently when its cut into the material like that it is stronger and can hold more weight than the original webbing system. The company that came up with it called it MOLLEminus.
I'm not into back packs but that is a nice looking backpack. definitely different looking than others I've seen. very sharp. thanks for showing us that and giving your honest opinion tim!
Tim- Awesome pack! Perfect features, and I agree... I don't think a waist belt is necessary, but it's great they have the allowance of that option. Do you know if there is any packs out there that are "known as" 3 day bags that have the same types of storage that this one has? I really love the laser cut MOLLE webbing! I know these guys have a 3 day pack, but it lacks a few things this one has. I would like to see a review by someone using this pack for a 3 day outing, if possible. Thanks for the review, my friend! Take care!
Timinator B The only other brand that I'm aware of that makes a pack sort of like this one with laser MOLLE cutouts is Direct Action, they have a pack called the Ghost, I think. It looks really nice but I have no experience with one.
It looks amazing let out the straps or make straps with a bungee strap material that gives if someone as I said in the previous comment to form with someone's body that works out and has a big chest I can't put the straps on my chest or at least put the whole bag on I have to use it as a sling back which is not comfortable and not mobile to deal with.
Could you recommend this pack over the rush 24?? Hello again, you might remember me... But I decided not to consider the maxpedition since I feel it's too overly priced for what you get. Although, the vanquest ibex 35 is really nice although a bit too expensive for what you get
Hi my friend, Even though I do like the Tactix backpack I'd go with the RUSH24 myself. It's made really well and I love it's simplicity. Not sure if you've seen my RUSH24 videos where I dress up the 24 with some pouches from BDS Tactical... it's such a great versatile backpack.
@@GearReviewDepot ok thank you! I will one day possibly buy the vanquest ibex 35 But I think I will go with the rush 24 Thanks again! Your videos and your responses helped me make a decision! I'm glad I found your channel !
Brandon Hill Its a first impressions video, not the full review. The full review (already released) shows everything there is to see. Thank you for watching.
You could do with having #FirstTactical in your title. I wasn't sure it was the same pack but clicked to be sure, I thought when reading your title that it was a TACTIX Branded bag, the only reason I was not sure was the inclusion of 1-day Plus Tactical in your title. To be honest, is the brand Tactix that you can purcahse from #FirstTactical website? or is it #FirstTactical brand?
Xuan Hung Hoang The 24 is a 33 liter pack and the Tactix pack is 40.5 liters. Having used both they feel like they have the same amount of room even though the numbers show the Tactix is larger. I do plan on doing a comparison video of the two but it won't be for about 3 weeks.
@@arncj18 First Tactical makes great backpacks but they’re nothing compared to a Vanquest pack or a 5.11 pack. For me personally, I use primarily Vanquest gear and 5.11 is a close second. To answer your question, I’d take the RUSH24 over this pack any day. 😉
@@arncj18 Absolutely! I have the 12, 24 and 72 original ad well as the 2.0 version and they’re almost the same except for a change in a couple pockets. The same great quality as the original version. I’m not happy they did away with the sandstone color but the new Kangaroo color is pretty nice. I have a UA-cam shorts video showing it.
Yeah those straps are great but if you are built big chest like me I have a 58" chest it just will not fit good . if the guys want to build something great for us Men who work out that are big muscular yes then I will buy it .
Tim, to you and your love ones. Have a great, safe, and healthy Thursday . Good review.

KevRunsOnDunkin This isn't MOLLEminus, it's different but thanks for watching nonetheless.
They just so happen to be running a 50% off coupon as of 11/22 on this bag
goddamn dude, this is the bag that im looking for. damn I want this!

Nice review Tim. Wishing you and your family a great Thanksgiving. Can't wait to get into the Turkey. Then maybe some hiking. Take care.
John Trujillo And also with you brother! I've been training all year for this one day, ready to eat way more turkey than any one man should. lol

It looks bigger than 5.11 rush 24, right?
