Every time I watch this live performance, I think "HOW?" How can four musicians on a stage sound this good? Freddie channels every song through his entire body. You can see it. And that instrumental section is out of this world. The only thing I always wish is that they had Freddie and Brian on a split screen as the piano and guitar jammed. Roger's performance here is so tasteful and beautiful. Adds so much. Can't forget John Deacon. He is awesome. They are all perfect together. Great reaction!
I totally agree with you. This is amazing and the guys are beyond incredible with their playing . As a huge Roger fan I really love his beautiful drumming in this especially. They are all brilliant though. I’m not mentioning Freddie simply because I can’t put into words how his vocals affected me.
Having the honor of seeing this band, with the incredible front man, Freddie Mercury, three times, I have to say that he sounds as beautiful as he does on any album. I still get chills remembering watching him from the front row at the first concert (as he sang a few feet from me) absolutely memorized at what I was witnessing! My young heart was lost to Queen from that moment on!
I think this is my favorite live performance of any band that I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot! The musicality was perfection. His voice is a gift from God. I’m really enjoying you’re reactions. Thanks for your excellent choices.
I saw this twice of the 3x times I was lucky enough to be alive and to see them live. Believe me, the whole audience was quiet, staring, mouths open, like you Patrick. Even sitting right there, it was so different than anything we'd heard before, so ethereal-- hard to believe it wasn't a dream. You're both right, nobody compares to Queen, especially Queen live. I'd give anything to see them, with Freddie & John, just one more time, just one more. Great reaction guys, as always.
This is the quintessential ‘70’s rock song,to me. The reason Queen is so versatile is that they each wrote songs, each from their own direction. But,the band worked on them together to perfect the final product. And then Freddie will sing someone else’s love song with as much passion as if it were his own.

Whenever I listen to ‘White Queen’ I can’t help thinking of a movie soundtrack. Freddie Mercury’s voice is simply perfect for any required style of music. Doesn’t seem to me there’s anything they cannot do. Thanks for this reaction 👏👏👏
I guarantee you'll have chills when you listen to this song decades from now. I do. I've been a Queen fan from the beginning. White Queen is a favorite of mine. Your interpretations of their songs are perfect. I agree with everything you've said in all your queen reactions. So happy to have discovered you two!
One of my favorite songs and that 1 min 45 sec instrumental portion was just outstanding. Brian was absolutely shredding it on the guitar and Freddie's piano was on point, it just doesn't get better than this. Thank you for reacting to this beautiful song from Brian May.
Queen wrote songs in more than 20 different genres:) Arena Rock - "We Will Rock You" Ballad - "Love Of My Life", "Who Wants to live forever" and many others Blues - "Sleeping On The Sidewalk" (with Brian on lead vocals) Dance - "You Don't Fool Me" Disco - "Back Chat" Dixie Jazz - "Bring Back That Leroy Brown" Folk - "39" (with Brian on lead vocals) Funk - "Fun It" Glam Rock - "Killer Queen" Gospel - "Let Me Live" and "Somebody To Love" Heavy Metal - "Death On Two Legs " (album version is the best one) and "Flick Of The Wrist" (live performance at the Rainbow 1974 is the best one) Jazz - "Dreamer’s Ball" New Wave - "Calling All Girls" Punk - "Sheer Heart Attack" (best version is live at Montreal 1981) Power Pop - "Coming Soon" Prog Rock - "Liar" Funk Rock Disco - "Another One Bites The Dust" Rockabilly - "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" Soul - "Pain Is So Close To Pleasure" Techno Pop - "Radio Ga Ga" Thrash Metal (considered the first thrash metal song in history) - "Stone Cold Crazy" (best version is live at the Rainbow 1974) Waltz - "The Millionare Waltz"
This song is extraordinary from the first note to the last. The vocals and musicianship of the whole band is outstanding. It's amazing how well they all play together. The interplay between Freddie on piano and Brian on guitar is nothing short of exquisite. It just takes you on journey to wherever. It just takes your breath away. This is one of the very best Queen live performances ever. Thank you so much for your great reaction. You guys are awesome. Love you.
Yes, Lasuna -- everything you say - one of my absolute favorites... as extraordinary as Freddie was - he was NOT "Queen" - that included amazing contributions from every member - from their technical instrumentalism to their songwriting and timing! Never been - or likely to be - anything like it! We'll remember .... forever...
Yes... please do both version, I would start with the live one at Hyde Park with just Freddie on Piano,,, Then do the studio version. Freddie is just so.... mesmerizing!. Thanks for your reactions, they are fantastic!
Bad sister is a good description. I always call The March of the Black Queen BoRap's crazy drunk uncle which I never realized messes up the pronouns. Love Black Queen.
They are definitely the most diverse. They have songs in so many genres: rock, pop, ballad, jazz, gospel, blues, rockabilly, folk, ragtime, light opera, madrigal with fugue, disco, funk, anthems, power ballads… I’m sure I’m missing some. All four members wrote hits, sang and played multiple instruments. They introduced music videos. This is their 50th anniversary and Brian and Roger are still filling stadiums and arenas with Adam Lambert as their front man. Just an incredible story.
Your reaction was one of the best from all the YT videos about this particular performance. Why? Because you were real and didn't say obvious stuff. Bless you and your channel. Wish you many subs.

I’ve followed Queen since the beginning and owned every album growing up, my favorite band. I’m so glad you guys appreciate them as you do. This is one of the most underrated songs, and the live version is so good; it’s one of my favorites. I’m sure because all 4 wrote music, it contributed to their diversity, and they weren’t afraid to try new things. New subscriber! React to “Who Wants To Live Forever” live at Wembley.
Didn’t we tell you? Watching you guys reminds me how dumbstruck I was when I first watched it. I immediately had to watch it over, and over, and over again. Utter perfection from start to finish.
The reason Queen is so diversified, is the influence that all of the band members had with the music they grew up with. They learned from so many different types of artists and so many different genres and you can hear all of those influences, as you learn more about the albums and music they created. This performance, this concert was Christmas eve 1975. This was a legendary show, you should watch the entire show, but this song in particular is nothing short of miraculous. The timing, the musicality, the power, the passion and the haunting element of this song is unmatched - period. No other band could have done this song and no other band, especially during this time period, could match Queen's competence, style and live performance abilities - and although that might sound like a bold statement, it's just a simple fact. I was fortunate to see Queen three time live in the 1970s and I saw many other bands as well. These guys could not be touched, they were absolutely in a league of their own.
I don't want to keep repeating myself, but I seen this in concert...and it was fabulous. You two obviously agree. Thankyou, it's been awhile since I heard this song.😊
Mercury The Winged Messenger. This is sublime. Freddie and Brian are amazing, but no one ever mentions Roger’s drumming in this. It’s so subtle yet so intense at the same time. I’ve been hoping you would do this song, knew you’d love it, your reaction didn’t disappoint. Please, Live Aid next?
Roger’s drumming in this was absolutely exquisite in every way. Intense, controlled, and highly musical. John’s bass was impeccable too. An all around amazing performance from all 4 members.

Thanks for doing more Queen. You have to do early Queen to appreciate later Queen. Suggest 2 more “Liar” official video it’s live, then “In the Lap of the Gods” @ The Rainbow 74. These will blow your mind. 👑👍

I really like Keep yourself alive I would love for you guys to reaction to Queen - In the lap of the gods Live at the rainbow 1974 Please It's such a great live performance I love It just wish it was longer
Nice reaction. The studio version is a different composition, so no comparison can be made and this is a breath taking performance. One of many from them. The quality is likely due to it being recorded while live broadcast on tv. 👍
Thank you. This is the song to come to when you need a few minutes of absolute, incomparable beauty in your life. Notice the wings on Freddie's heels...Winged Mercury, Messenger of the Gods.
Seriously though, can never get enough of White Queen live in ‘75. Of course I never saw it until UA-cam came to be. Clear in the States waiting for Rolling Stone magazine to show even ONE photo of Queen in concert! I was 17 then!!!! Never ever stopped listening/buying albums, cassettes, CDs/streaming music of Queen. 👑👨🏻 Love your comment: “For me, most diverse band ever.” YES
This is a masterpiece....No matter how many times I see this I get goosebumps. Also, this is an instrumental masterpiece....I was raised on Queen. It has been so refreshing to see young people appreciate great music....Judy D
Great reaction to one of my most favorite performances!! Another great, great performance is You Take My Breath Away live at Hyde Park. You might also try Love Of My Life, Live at Wembley 1986, or Love of My Life live at Rock'nRio in front of almost 400,000 people.
Beautiful performance !!!! Best voice God gifted to us to enjoy. Please react to Who Wants to Live Forever live at Wembley 1986 and Now I’m Here live at Wembley 1986 Also, when you have 20 minutes please react to the number 1 rated live rock and roll performance in history. It’s Queen performance at Live Aid in 1985. There were 60 groups and Queen stole the show.
I saw this tour live....it was Queen at their peak....it's an absolute sin that the camera did not switch to Brian May during that majestic and epic guitar solo.
Lucky you. I have wondered why the camera didn't give Brian some time. It would have been awesome to see him playing his guitar. Not that I don't just adore Freddie but a little Brian time would have been the icing on the cake.
@@ProgBartleby I bet he did. He's such an amazing guitar player. It always amazes me the sounds he can make with that guitar. Such talent. And lucky you to have been at a live concert.
This live verson is the absolute best. They loved their fans and wrote in different languages. Some examples: Mustapha, (Arabic -like), TeoTerriatte (Japanese), Las palabras de Amor (Spanish), and they sang a Hungairian folk song when they performed live in Budapest...they are all so beautiful. Another song that showcases his voice is: MADE IN HEAVEN...so beautiful..he wrote this one...he had just found out he was sick and talks about in the song... Made in Heaven also refers to people always telling him that his voice was made in heaven, that it was so beautiful.
Love queen, seven seas of rhye, now I'm here, death onto legs, yourself alive, and here's two that will surprise you 'nevermore' (1min 15 seconds long,,and 'dear friends' (1min 04 seconds long)...and '39'with Brian may on leaad, freddie and Roger on backing vocals PLEASE. CHEERS GUYS....
Thanks, BroAction - but you may like to know that this song was written by guitarist Brian May -- this is one of their best live performances, but I wish the videographer had paid a little more attention to Brian - and also Roger (drummer) and John (bassist) - this was an amazing collaboration - especially between Freddie on keys and Brian on guitar - I do so appreciate YOUR appreciation of Queen -- and always look forward to more... cheers!
You should try react more 70s Queen songs such as The March Of The Black Queen, The Prophet Song, The Fairy Fellers Master-Stroke studio version. And about live version you can hear & react You Take My Breath Away & My Melancholy Blues (even both live & studio can make us chills)
Thanks again for this one guys, my absolute favourite, and I’ve loved your reaction so much I’ve watched it about 4 times already! ❤️🎹🎶. Now can I request Who Wants to Live Forever. The Wembley one is great, but Live in Budapest is even better. Freddie is flexing his stuff, and his charisma is off the charts. You’ll love it, I guarantee.

Thanks for doing more Queen. You have to do early Queen to appreciate later Queen. Suggest 2 more “Liar” official video it’s live, then “In the Lap of the Gods” @ The Rainbow 74. These will blow your mind. 👑👍
It's nice to see the younger generation enjoying the music I remember from the first time around
This is the reaction I was searching for!! Yes! I've listened to this song countless times and still gets chills and teary eyed every time, it's absolutely amazing, beautiful, stunning!! Right on guys 👍👏❤️❤️
I was 11 years old in 75 watch this on television on new year Eve and I remember been so blown away by this song I adore Freddie and queen the greatest band ever to me I saw queen in 1986 in slane ireland 🇮🇪 what a privilege it was an amazing concert I was so lucky as Freddie only did Wembley and one more concert before sadly he passed away in November of f 1991 it devastated me what a lost to the world he was but so happy people are finding out what a gem he was and queen as a group love and miss you Freddie so glad to have been around at this time
This song is one of my favorites. Everything about it is perfection! Freddie in his 70's glam, he was so
beautiful....I miss him.
,Dr. BRIAN MAY wrote this in college about a girl he was too shy to talk to.
I always wonder how that girl would feel if she knew this was about her.
Oh, if only I were that girl...-- been in love with Brian since 1975 -- sadly, that didn't work out... but unrequited love is still love, right? lol.
@@GinMae Absolutely.
It was about Mary Austin who later started dating Freddie.
@@WisdomKeeper11 nope a girl Brian liked in college not Mary love if my life is about Mary
One of my favourite songs and performances! It made me cry when I first heard this ...
Queen are outstanding when you watch them Live. I love your channel and your love and appreciation for what I think is the greatest band ever Queen. like you said and I agree Queen are on a level of their own, Queen are my Favorite band of all time & will be till I leave this earth. 70's Queen is also really good this concert was awesome I watched it on youtube. I really like Keep yourself alive
I would love for you guys to reaction to Queen - In the lap of the gods Live at the rainbow 1974 Please It's such a great live performance I love It just wish it was longer
Love this to see Freddie Mercury Jamming on the Piano wow mind Blowing love you LEGENDS
Nice reaction. The studio version is a different composition, so no comparison can be made and this is a breath taking performance. One of many from them. The quality is likely due to it being recorded while live broadcast on tv. 👍
Queen Best live song ever
This is my go to version of this song it’s better than the studio version and that is really a testimony to how good queen are live.
Steady on! Queen II best ever, and my favourite album and cover! I’m a bit protective over the songs on it! Both versions are genius!
Thank you. This is the song to come to when you need a few minutes of absolute, incomparable beauty in your life. Notice the wings on Freddie's heels...Winged Mercury, Messenger of the Gods.
Yessssssss! I’ve been waiting for this one, and you guys did not disappoint. Love your reactions. Thanks 😊 ✌🏽
Please react to In the Lap of the Gods & In the Lap of the Gods revisited live at the rainbow 🌈loving your Queen reactions ❤️❤️
yesss please!!
I love you Freddie❤R.I.P. Beautiful One
I gets chills each time I see and hear this song.
❤❤❤❤
La suma de los cuatro ,es el todo.❤
Que grandes son 33 años despues de su marcha continuamos enamorados de Queen❤❤❤
Seriously though, can never get enough of White Queen live in ‘75. Of course I never saw it until UA-cam came to be. Clear in the States waiting for Rolling Stone magazine to show even ONE photo of Queen in concert! I was 17 then!!!! Never ever stopped listening/buying albums, cassettes, CDs/streaming music of Queen. 👑👨🏻
Love your comment: “For me, most diverse band ever.” YES
Beautiful, Thankyou guys! Much love❤
This is a masterpiece....No matter how many times I see this I get goosebumps. Also, this is an instrumental masterpiece....I was raised on Queen. It has been so refreshing to see young people appreciate great music....Judy D
Just showed my 78 yr old mom " Who wants to live forever". She was so happy.
Queen is the best. This is a beautiful song and the live version is great. You really feel the emotion of the song.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Great reaction to one of my most favorite performances!! Another great, great performance is You Take My Breath Away live at Hyde Park. You might also try Love Of My Life, Live at Wembley 1986, or Love of My Life live at Rock'nRio in front of almost 400,000 people.
I will never get enough of Queen. Especially their older music. Phenomenal!
Great song! Thanks for your reaction!
Beautiful performance !!!! Best voice God gifted to us to enjoy.
Please react to Who Wants to Live Forever live at Wembley 1986 and Now I’m Here live at Wembley 1986
Also, when you have 20 minutes please react to the number 1 rated live rock and roll performance in history.
@@lasuna7792 I was five rows at the Music Hall in Boston...right in front of Brian May. Oh man did he put on a guitar playing exhibition that evening!
The GOAT !!!!!!
Thanks for finally doing this one. You have to trust us 😉 Next listen to We will Rock you going in to We Are the Champions live at Montreal 1981.
Nevermore and Dear Friends. Most beautiful two songs under one minute twenty ever written! You my friend, get it. You really do !
Thanks, BroAction - but you may like to know that this song was written by guitarist Brian May -- this is one of their best live performances, but I wish the videographer had paid a little more attention to Brian - and also Roger (drummer) and John (bassist) - this was an amazing collaboration - especially between Freddie on keys and Brian on guitar - I do so appreciate YOUR appreciation of Queen -- and always look forward to more... cheers!
You must watch 'Love of my life, live, Wembley 1986' that one especially is wonderful and will blow you away! Loving your reactions guys :)
I don't know how I never heard this before. Beautiful.
My favorite song, Freddies amazing on the piano.
Freddie's voice is just so WOW!!!!
You have to do queen at live aid its an amazing performance
You should try react more 70s Queen songs such as The March Of The Black Queen, The Prophet Song, The Fairy Fellers Master-Stroke studio version.
And about live version you can hear & react You Take My Breath Away & My Melancholy Blues (even both live & studio can make us chills)
This is my FAVORITE live Queen performance!!
(And Guys... I live in the U.S., and the video is NOT blocked here!)
Queen - White Queen (As It Began) (Live at The Rainbow 1974) is the version you SHOULD have went for.
Any version is the right one, and there's always tomorrow!
@@deborahallen3318 Fair point, but some are more 'right' than others.😀
My favourite! No matter how many times you watch this, chills everytime. Thank you for reacting to this 💕💕💕
Thanks again for this one guys, my absolute favourite, and I’ve loved your reaction so much I’ve watched it about 4 times already! ❤️🎹🎶. Now can I request Who Wants to Live Forever. The Wembley one is great, but Live in Budapest is even better. Freddie is flexing his stuff, and his charisma is off the charts. You’ll love it, I guarantee.
I watch you guys over and over. Enjoy your reactions so much. Again, thank you for your enthusiasm.
I love watching you express your pleasure... funny! I totally understand your feeling.
