I did this hair style and I just love it. I had to add some marley hair to get the fullness and it came out great. This style is so versatile, I wear the two strands in a pompadour, a side roll tuck and pin and I leave the two strands loose and in a bun. Wow, that's four hairstyles. Thanks for the tutorial.
VERY PRETTY! you and the hair. Thanks for showing how you started the flat twists! Now I know how to start my twist directly from the scalp, instead of having some loose hair at the root first.

This style is the BOMB! I love styled that I can wear for a week to work. I'll be trying this one when I get just a little more length. I want my pomp to be BIG! I get so frustrated when I flat twist going upward though so I will have to practice more.

I absolutely love the color you have in your hair I was thinking about getting a red like that but a more brownish red! I have been trying to do flat twists the longest and just can't get it but yours are beautiful I love it so elegant and cute! This makes me anxious to be completely natural.
Just keep practicing, watching video tutorials on here, and don't give up. I thought I'd NEVER be able to flat twist. I kept trying, trying, and trying some more. Then, magically about 2 months ago I did it! You can't tell me anything now. haha My next mission is braiding. I can plait, but braiding is a whole other story. Good luck hun!
TOO cute and creative. I gotta get my two strand flat twist together!! Been struggling with that for EVER!! I can cornrow but for the life of me can't seem to get the steady concept of flat twist... grrrrr... I will keep trying!!!
i did a style like this and loved the results, however, maybe I am just slow but you are right parting is essential to those type of styles and it usually takes me two hours to complete a style like that!
This will be next weeks protective style for sure! Love it! Now my hair isn't as thick or as long as yours, so I'll need to pick up a pack of Marley hair to use for the front and maybe to pack/create the pompadour. It'll be my first time doing anything with Marley hair, so I hope it works.

I love this hairstyle! It definitely goes of my list of styles when I get more length. My hair is currently about 5 inches long and I have been natural for about year. (It is growing rather slow). My hair length goal is 7-8 inches past my shoulders.
