Aerospace weldor fabricator here; it appears you're dragging the tip of the plasma torch on the material, do not do that. Treat it like a regular oxy acetylene torch and keep your Gap to about an eighth of an inch. Rest one hand under the hand holding the torch and try and move with precision machine motion making sure that the orifices or the head itself is perpendicular in all directions to the material being cut, do not angle the torch.

Hello. I have the same torch, a PT31. It is meant to be dragged

@@reloadnorth7722 Blowback from dragging damages the tip and wears it out prematurely. Yes you can drag ANY plasma torch tip but it's not optimal.

What kind of air compressor are you using? I have a different plasma cutter and can't get it to run....

Do you still have the manual for this cutter? I bought a used one and the book was not included.

Para mejor resultado usa 220v y 120 psi (la presión del aire tiene que ser consistente)yo compre una no estoy seguro de la marca fue en amazon y e cortado hasta 5/8 con buenos resultados usando el voltaje y la presión arriba mencionados

Not clean cuts by no means so lot of clean up of the material after it’s been cut!
