Millerton Lake Bass Fishing May 2024

Took the new boat out at the local pond to break in the engine and of course do some junk fishing. Lacking some electronics but that will be sorted out soon. Caught fish with a variety of lures and baits on this day. Father in-law did most of his damage on a rattle trap. Mine was mostly on drop shot and a few on reaction/moving baits. The boat did come with a Fish finder but we use it mostly for depth and a bit of bottom contour, other than that we pretty much go by site and gut instinct on where fish might be holding. Targeted the 10-25 foot depths most of the day. Hope you enjoy the video. Nothing fancy, just straight up fishing and talking like we know what we're doing..

My father in-law did most of his damage on a lipless crank bait (1/2). I got most of my bites on a drop shot (morning dawn Roboworm 4-1/2”- 6”). Between 15-25 feet of water. Good luck!
