I am a Phlebotomist and I wear a mask 8, sometimes 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I don't smell anything weird in my mask. Maybe some of these people just need to brush their teeth more often.
I wear an N95 respirator for work for hours at a time and weirdly enough I have survived my own breath toxins.
And scrub that tongue.

I got my booster shot. I still have to follow infection protocol from my medical team which means wearing a mask, carrying and using hand sanitizer, carrying disinfectant wipes to wipe down tables and Chairs where I will be.

I think the host nailed why Jordan is so successful in his interviews,the power of the follow up question. Absolutely something that all reporters should be doing when BS answers are given or factually incorrect responses.
Problem is, there is a monied interest in pretending both sides are equal and this is all just a simple difference of opinion. Controversy creates clicks, clicks generate ad revenue for CNN. Imagine that, a teenager with zits. Never heard of such a thing. And oral hygiene might fix the funk issues. I worked in masks on my job on and off for thirty seven years. It was a uncomfortable but much better then breathing in asbestos or nuclear particulate. Jordan is very good at pointing out the ironic (and sometimes idiotic) stances of many of the people who fight the greater good of the public versus perceived loss of person freedom.
I developed adult acne probably due to wearing a mask… I just used acne face wash for a few weeks and it cleared up. I now actually take care of my skin, so mask wearing is great!

I worked as a dental assistant for almost 20 years wearing mask everyday a majority of the day. My coworkers and myself never had problems with wearing a mask, no negative effects from breathing our own "co2" all day. These were 10 hour days sometimes. I adopted wearing a mask earlier than most during the pandemic. Still here and still fine! This is the ultimate Darwin award. The only problem is breakthrough cases.

Personally, I think there is a difference between what Klepper does - asking people about their own choices and the logic dictating them - and setting up people with just blanket untrue statements, like "someone just killed the last triceratops", or questions worded to make people trip themselves up. (Like asking about "women sufferage" in a way that sets young people (who don't know the word) to confuse it with 'suffering', and thus make fools of themselves as they talk about how they're absolutely against that.)
Like you say, anyone can fool people into making mistakes on camera. Starting off with an untrue statement is an excellent way to do that because 1) people tend to want to look clever on camera, or at least not ignorant, so rather than saying "Tricera-what? No, I hadn't heard of that", they'll feign being "informed, and 2) most people are pretty bamboozled by having a camera stuck in their face, and will have more than enough with answering the question, instead of gauging whether the person is trying to set them up for something. Just because you and I were nerd kids who liked dinosaurs, doesn't mean EVERYONE likes - or knows - dinosaurs.
And of course, what hardly ever shows up on these things, be it on Klepper or your guy's show, are all the people who answer well for themselves... :)

What confuses some people who only care about themselves, is that they think masks are supposed to protect the wearer, as an input filter, when in reality, it is an output filter. That's why surgeons wear them. Once the air has been saturated with virus particles, masks obviously doesn't help all that much because your eyes are still open. So the idea with masks, is that we avoid saturating the air with virus particles to begin with. That way, we all protect each other. If you disbelieve this, then try to wear a mask outside when it's cold. You will clearly see a great reduction in condensation, because it is being picked up by the mask.

I work in the operating theatres and often even in NON COVID times, with the large cancer surgeries, we wear a mask/visor for the whole 14 hours to protect our patients AND ourselves WITHOUT DIFFICULTY! I also remember seeing a live stream video of a doctor wearing TEN masks and his oxygen saturation probe monitor stayed on 99-100% (perfectly normal).
There was an athlete (long distance runner) who put 100 masks on and ran a mile. He said that he felt the difference, but was still able to do it. And that was with 100!!! masks.
Also, I've seen several interviews with nurses who have severe asthma who said they have no breathing issues wearing masks and visors for 12 hour shifts. The complaints that a mask is harmful because they can't breathe is just an excuse to protest wearing them.

I would bet asthma suffers would have the same improvement simply because of the lack of irritants making it into your lungs (aside from also protecting from other people's spital I mean, etc.)

Nah, the "crazy" idea is to simply *wash* and change masks more often. Get a dozen masks, swap masks 3-4 times in a school day and a dozen masks last you 3 days before you need to wash. Not complicated at all and you always have a fresh, clean mask.

Wearing masks can contribute to acne or rashes on the face. It happens to my kid. We just wash the masks every day in free and clear detergent and if we run out, she wears a disposable one. Problem solved. You don’t have to eliminate mask wearing to fix it
