- Arjen Lucassen has brought together another pantheon of talent for the latest Star One album, including the angelic voices of Michael Mills and Ross Jennings. This intro to the new Star One album for me has the two singers figuring out how to stop their doubles after a time travel snafu. You HAVE to check this out!
Join professional opera singer Elizabeth Zharoff, as she listens to Star One for the first time, performing "Prescient”.

Wow Ross Jennings! Finally! I really think that Haken deserves more attention!
I'd love to see her reaction to Cockroach King, Pareidolia....
Would love to see a reaction to Cockroach King or Crystallised by Haken! There are live versions of both available and I think you'd have a lot of fun with either of them!
Indeed, a haken reaction would be GREAT!!! the muppet version of cockroach king is also really nice. Btw, Visions, Atlas Stone, Celestial Elixir and the Architect are also great songs to react to...
There is one Crystallised live version that is amazing with a special guest appearance at the end. ProgPower USA 2016. I still can't believe the entire band does the accapella section so well.
If you do "Cockroach King", don't use the official video, because it's an edited (shortened) version of the song. There's an unofficial video at ua-cam.com/video/x7wwYmgQAmY/v-deo.html which takes the original audio, and uses clips of the official video in sections where possible, and fills in concert footage in the sections that are edited out of the official video.
@@gwooledge She usually reacts to live videos so I figured it could be the L-1VE Cockroach King (or the L+1VE Crystallised)
@@maanvis81 Maan she would loooove that muppet version HAHAHA
Is there anything on Earth more uplifting than the smile she gets when something musically excites her? 😁💕
Yeah I’d say a box of cute puppies
Yes! Michael Mills lyrics are truly one of a kind! Check out "How do ghosts work?" where he manages to combine a hilarious song about ghosts with a tragic story about fighting your destructive habits. Also kudos on getting the pronounciation right on Toehider this time around. 😉
I remember back when I worked at Tower Records, 20ish years ago, and discovered one of their CDs. The back of the case said "FILE UNDER SPACE METAL". I went and created a space metal section in a rack, and it was the only cd in it. XD "Intergalactic Space Crusaders" was probably one of my favorite songs from back then.
Clever!
Nice, but you should have had at least a Hawkwind CD in there too. I've long been into space metal! 🎸🌌
Some record stores had "fantasy rock" sections, Hawkwind and Yes often filed there. Rush sometimes too.
Arcturus - Sideshow Symphonies.
God, I miss Tower Records!
I saw "Michael Mills" in your title and instantly pulled up the video. Hands down, one of my favorite vocalists! He is a flat out genius with his musical compositions. Michael, you NEVER let us down. Arjen never ceases to amaze me with his albums and this teaser is no exception. I'm an old Yes lover, and the stereo and surround sound brought me back to my days of putting my headphones on and listening to songs such as "Awaken" and hearing all the instruments and layering, and vocals and nuances that you just don't hear on a tape deck or straight off a record player. (Tee hee Am I dating myself?) I was watching this on my computer, but got my cell phone out and my ear buds, and I was hearing things that I didn't even know were in the song on my computer. I even played it back to double check. Just WOW. Pure magic. Elizabeth, thank you thank you thank you for your expertise and all the things that you teach and things you point out that make everything so much more interesting. Since I was young, I have been in love with music, and I've wanted to know music theory. For 3 years of my life, I was deaf, and it was one of the most heartbreaking, frightening, depressing times. I'm so thankful to have it back. I appreciate it every day.
@thecharismaticvoice all that being said-- can you listen to Yes' song, Awaken, and analyze? Have headphones on. :)
Really enjoy the Ayreon and Star One projects, Damian Wilson and the Jansen sisters are my favourites but Michael Mills has one helluva voice.
Ross Jennings is by far my favorite male vocalist. I'd give a listen to some Haken, maybe "Atlas Stone" from The Mountain or "Eternal Rain" from Aquarius!
LOVE IT
Atlas Stone. So awesome
Ross is awesome. Got to see him with Haken in Nashville. Spectacular performance
Easily the best live performances I have ever seen. Seen them 3x over the last 5 years or so and they only get better with age.
@@goforthandeattacos they are going to be touring with Symphony X in a few months in the US
@@goforthandeattacos I saw them follow Leprous and they still blew up the place.
The band is Star One, one of Arjen's many projects. This album is Revel in Time. Star One's songs are themed around science fiction media. The first two albums had the same set of core vocalists (Damian Wilson, Dan Swanö, Floor Jansen and Russell Allen), this third album had the core singers and several more.
If anyone hasn't listened to Space Metal, Star One's first album, or watched any of the Star One live album Live on Earth, I HIGHLY recommend it.
Hi Elizabeth, this is my first time listening to this song off the Star One album, and I loved the performance. The complexity of the vocals and instruments are really impressive, and the harmonies between Michael and Ross were amazing. Thank you, Elizabeth!!! 💙
It was my first exposure, and it was totally great.
You're welcome! I'm realy enjoying music from Arjen and want to listen to more of his songs. Thanks, Kirby! Have an awesome day! ❤️
This video and the interview with Arjen bookend a great Friday! Thanks, Elizabeth, for having us join your fun!
Another great song from Arjen's project and with an amazing singer is Twisted Coil, the live version with Damian Wilson is spectacular.
Please please please do Haken, Elizabeth!!! It looks like they're finally getting some votes in the comments. Cockroach King is such an amazing work of art!
And so is their whole album Visions? The concept album of the guy who travels in time who witnesses someone getting shot and it’s him?
Ross Jennings is a splendid singer. His first solo album is just out, you should listen to it..
Such an amazing piece. Looking forward to some Haken reactions in the future. Ross has a distinct and beautiful approach to singing IMHO.
So fantastic you had Arjen in your show, And this song is fantastic.
"Primer" is one of the best sci-fi movies I have ever seen. The writing with the timelines is just impeccable. What an amazing surprise to have my favorite progressive metal musician do a song about it!
The first t Star One album was about sci-fi moves as well. Arjen did songs about "Alien", "Dune", and "Stargate" to name a few. That album mainly used the incredible vocalist Russell Allen.
I love Ross's voice, he also recently made a solo album with just music he wanted to make (instead of with his bands). One of the video's where he really shines is Ross Jennings - 'Words We Can't Unsay' - Acoustic (Live at AfterLive Music) , it only has 1000 views and deserves more :)
Arjen... The Best Genius in Metal Music!!! ...Ed Warby one of the best drummers and I think little recognized...
Agreed Ed Warby is a fantastic drummer.
@@andystrange7405 👌
Would love to see you do one of Toehider’s songs, so that you can see Mike in full flight! He’s literally the best.
Michael Mills aka Toehider is one of the most diverse and talented singer/song writer/musicians Australia has ever produced.
Impressive breakdown. And another brilliant song from Arjen!
The more I listen to it the more I love this song. Your analysis is spot on!
I REALLY enjoyed this song, your analysis of the vocals and the arrangement, and now I NEED to listen to the original in full!
Phew, I can finally stop hitting "refresh", waiting for this to show up! The song that has been playing in my head most mornings when I wake up. I love how well their voices work together on this and the crazy counterpoint, layering, etc.
Michael Mills is just amazing. Thank you for introducing him to me, Dave!
@@TheCharismaticVoice Can't wait what you think of Ross Jennings! One of the most versatile vocalists in today's progressive metal. His band 'Haken' is just mindblowingly good!
@@11mandylion Yep, we need some Haken on this channel! :D
One of my favorite bands of the last decade.
And after this you have to do Haken because Ross is such a great singer and Haken is such a great band :) so glad Ross and Mike did this together. Now i wanna i whole album with them to and.. Arjen ofc :)
I think she Cockroach King would be a good start
@@nickreed2028 much agree, fantastic track (and video too)
@@ultrazineSWE Not the edited version.... Misses so much good prog sections.
@@Arrow2theACL indeed, they are some really good live versions out there you should hear first
Because it's There....I think Elizabeth would melt.
I love music, it's a huge part of my life, and I could gush forever about my love of songs and singers and instruments and whatever. But I don't have the slightest bit of knowledge or education as to what actually goes into making it, so this is really, really fascinating to me! Hearing a song I love get broken down and have parts I knew were cool but didn't have the vocabulary to explain why get carefully analysed like this!
Really cool video, thankyou for making this :3
Great reaction Elizabeth! Your comments are always very insightful and make me appreciate the music all the more. You should do a reaction to Toehider! Mike really shines in his live performance of "Whatever Makes you Feel Superior"
Woo! The new Star One is going to be amazing!
It's really quite impressive how well this song follows the plot of the one of the most confusing movies ever made.
Another Star One song that would be very much worth covering would be the 2003 live performance of "Eye of Ra." The Ayreon Universe version has a stunning finale, but the 2003 version has an excellent vocal performance by Russell Allen and features Arjen on guitar. Both are wonderful.
What movie is it based on or inspired by or whatever?
@@justdave9610 Primer (2004). I don't think it's available to rent anywhere, but you can watch it here in standard definition: ua-cam.com/video/XfPTbUDOBa8/v-deo.html
You may also need to watch this after the movie, to understand just what the heck was happening: ua-cam.com/video/tUzy-xPf0MI/v-deo.html
My favourite concert is Star One 2003 live with Arjen playing and singing, Damian Wilson and the Jansen sisters for all female singing including Valley of the Queens.
Eye of Ra is based on the Stargate movie
It's 10:30AM (CET) on a saturday here. I must thank you again for directing me towards the Adam Neely channel. I see so much i can learn about time signatures. *(and other technical music stuff.) See you all on Monday. greets and love Night Music
It took me ages to define a word to sum up Mr Jennings' voice after listening to it (for long enough believe me) and you say 'sentimentality' - thanks for one of the brief descriptive validating moments in my life
Ross Jennings (Haken-Cockroach King would make you giggle) has teamed up with Nick D'Virgilio (Big Big Train) and Neal Morse (Spock's Beard, lotsa other stuff) on a project - 'D'Virgilio Morse Jennings' and the Harmonies would blow you away, highly recommend checking out their single/video 'Julia'.
Savatage is another band you should put on the list. "When the Crowds Are Gone". Pure magic. ;)
I agree Savatage with Jon Oliva is something you need to try. Hall of the mountain king is classic as well as Gutter ballet. Jon is phenominal.
Liking the song. I cannot wait to receive my copy of the album when it is released!!
Loved the jumping sound. As soon as the synphs began I was transported. Keyboards very much put me in mind of the amazing Rick Wakeman. 👏
Ross sounds great in the upcoming D'Virgilio, Morse & Jennings "Troika" - they released 2 great songs : Julia and "Everything I Am".
I am all about music and how it makes me feel. This is something you may not have ever heard, but I find myself listening to this song over and over again, singing along and just enjoying it changes and distorts. Sturgill Simpson, It ain't all flowers. I would love to see you react to this song.
Hi! I'm excited for this!
if you ever react to Haken (Ross Jennings band), their video for "Cockroach King" will be your favorite thing. There's an even better video someone made that doesn't pointlessly remove a bit of the jazzy parts from the album version, in a smooth video edit, but I don't know if you can use that one.
I need to listen to this. Throughout your video I kept being reminded of Yes.
What? That's so great! Absolutely love it
I'm 58 and just heard R.E.M and have to say I can't believe I missed out on their music. Would you please react to their music like, Whats the Frequency kenneth, Night Swimming or Everybody Hurts. I enjoy this channel! Thank you and God Bless!!
Ross Jennings has an amazing voice... I really hope you react to a A Haken song. I am recommending "Earthrise"
hi yes i totally agree with you. in terms of emotions. emotions with the most important in song and music, and you give it to me completely what I feel. and only by the feeling of looking at you and your facial expression. that's absolutely great. you are really great. you entertain me. I really enjoy your appearance and emotions. let them touch you you are just emotionally exciting. please stay alone don't change yourself. your smile is a balm for the soul.
I highly recommend to listen to Star One - Lost Children of the Universe with ex Black Sabbath singer - Tony Martin
Great reaction as ever Elizabeth. Love all Arjen’s work and am so looking forward to the new album.
Might I continue to recommend Eivør’s live performance of “Falling Free” and also Myrkur. Amelie is so creative, with an amazing voice and she combines black metal and folk and often has Maria Franz as one of her backing vocalists on her recent acoustic performances.
I know I'm late to the party here but a cover of Haken's Nightingale would be truly epic. It's still fairly recent and most certainly one of their best songs in every regard. I'm super stoked that you reacted to this song in particular though, thank you! I only discovered Arjen's epic work a few months ago but this is definitely my favourite so far.
Thanks for giving us double the Arjen pleasure for this week!!! Kirk might get jealous but I could kiss you right now :D. And what a wonderful song, with Mike Mills and Ross Jennings. Mike mills, I believe the term 'binary pavarotti' was coined here on this channel, is such an incredible singer. And Ross Jennings, lead singer of Haken, is also in my top 5 of vocalists ever. So to see them on the same song, written by Arjen (with lyrics by Mike IIRC).. Well, it was just before christmas that this song came out. So I thanked santarjen on my bare knees for this ofc :).
Looking forward to you reacting to Damian Wilson, especially Twisted Coil from the Electric Castle live Show.
@The Charismatic Voice: Please could you react to the band "Porcupine Tree"? Maybe to their song "Strip the soul"?
I think Heart Attack In A Layby by them, for the vocal harmonies! It would be perfect for her to react to. There is a live rehearsal video shot in an empty arena with huge sound, though I miss John Wesley's great backing vocals from the studio version.
You know what I would love to see?
A breakdown of Andy Cizek's one-take for Monuments - Lavos.
Please and thank you ☺
AWESOME breakdown Ma'am...! I know it's confirmation bias for me, but love to hear it!
First crack at Ross? Time to dive into Haken!
I'm guilty of having watched the interview first. But happy with that!
I think Arjen said that Michael wrote the lyrics to this one. And how he just gave Michael minimum guidance about what he wanted. Since you're reading so many comments on everything about your music, this might make you blush, Arjen.
This song is really fantastic. And it reminds me of Steve Jobs, who once stated, that he doesn't have to be the most brilliant mind in his own company. But that he has to find the most brilliant minds to work in his company.
I think that is exactly, what we see here.
20 years ago I bought the album space metal with star one on CD, just because Dan Swanö was one of the singers, I knew pretty much nothing about the band. It turned out to be a gateway to a ton of awesome music in the future.
Swanö's 2016 Northern Sanctuary by Witherscape is my favourite
@@mposh I´m a bit more into the older stuff, Edge of Sanity and such. I do enjoy witherscape and nightingale from time to time though.
@@randomstuffzofdoom still in my "To Listen" pile
When the first Star One album came out, I was already excited because I was already very familiar with Arjen, and having Dan in there was the cherry on top.
Swanö's Nightingale album The Closing Chronicle is also amazing.
So, I had to listen to this AFTER the second half of the Arjen interview, bcs I was out and about for all of this.
I love your vocal analyses so much. I've watched more than I can remember. Back in October and March, respectively, you did the Alter Bridge songs "Blackbird" and "Watch Over You". They were tremendous, as were the live performances you selected to review. I'd like to encourage you to review the studio versions of one or both -- "Watch Over You" especially -- to see what Mr. Kennedy can do when he's not dealing with live sound and trying to project to carry through the arena. And if you like the transition from the first two choruses to the third in "Watch Over You" live, I think you may love what the instrumentals are doing with the full band playing. Either way, whether you decide to check those out or not, thank you and keep up what you do. I've discovered new music thanks to you, and learned to appreciate music I already listen to that much more.
My wife Phoebe and Mike recorded a metal cover together of Mariah Carey a few years ago for xmas. Man he blew me away.
Sounds awesome. Is it available??
@@TheRandalHandle ill find out mate. Until then, this is her here if you're interested. Shes an incredible singer too even without my bias 😉
ua-cam.com/video/mqhtbonR5w0/v-deo.html
Definitely voting for "Somebody" by Haken. The harmonies and layering are masterful. If you do end up listening to "Cockroach King" then I'd recommend the music video for lols.
There is an horological pun in the panning of the tick-tock, as that sound is made by a mechanism called the escapement, which of course can be taken as in the middle of an escape into the music or into time itself.
Mr. Lucassen has SO MANY projects, and all of them are super creative high quality stuff. His Star One project has a special place in my heart however, so I jumped when I saw that there was going to be a new Star One album. Jumped again when I saw that E will be analyzing this song. Then my knees blew out from too much jumping. How may times will I watch this reaction? Try 01011001!
I ❤ this thumbnail. That really makes me curious. I don't have absolutely any clue, what's the deal with it. But I won't do any investigation before the premiere, instead I will enjoy following your footprints into a whole new world 😀 I trust in you - you cannot be wrong with this choice!🤞 By the way, I love learning from TCV: my new favorite is snafu! I think I will use this now interchangeably with WTF while digging through my company's source code.😁
Arjen,if you read this...you have to watch Netflix's "DARK", an entire series about time travel and the best tv series I've ever seen(wich hurts to say as a total X-files nerd). It takes time travel storytelling to a whole 'nother level..
YES!
Thanks, Lucas! ❤️
Primer is one of my favorite movies, Mike’s lyrics were perfect, huge fan of both him and Ross
Gotta Say, have loved all 4 songs released on this Album and am so looking forward to the rest, get giddy when iTunes lets me know another song is avail. You really need to react to Fate of Man ft Britney Slayes and Michael Romeo, and Lost Children of the Universe ft Roy Khan and Tony Martin
Reminds me of Yes ....very much. In both their sound and show...guess that's the visual. I like it.
PreOrdered this albume couple months ago.. have the other's except the live one
beautiful, the various well known mathematical formulas shown in the video ;-)
Hi The Charismatic voice . I started tuning into your show 3 months ago ! Really Loving your take on all of these vox , your breaking down . Appreciate your skill and knowledge .
Would be interesting to hear you analysis of Paul Rogers . ( Free , Bad company , Queen and his solo stuff )
Thank you so Much
Cheers Rich from Australia
Really have enjoyed all the releases from this album so far. I can see why you went with this one for a reaction given the complexity of the vocals and the catchy instrumentation. My favorite is Fate of Man followed closely by Lost Children of the Universe. Was hoping you would react to those as well but sounds like from the interview with Arjen that you have already watched them. Interested in what you thought of them. I especially loved the incorporation of the terminator displays in the video for Fate of Man and the display readouts at different parts (Metal Assault Imminent and Tall Hippie Dude, No Threat).
So late but star one master of darkness is a vocal masterpiece. Oh man...
To say that I am looking forward to the star one release would an understatement
I would love to see you do some analysis on Pagans Mind with the fantastic Nils K. Rue on vocals with a group of absolute virtuoso musicians from Norway, and some Tony Martin era Black Sabbath, a couple of spectacular vocalists who don't get nearly enough recognition in this world! I think the way you do these videos, with your knowledge and experience is enlightening for the viewer in that you both educate us about singing techniques, and highlight artists that may be new to some of us and bring them some new fans as well, great work!
You should react to the Metal by tenacious D live at Seattle, jacks voice is unreal
I put on my headphones and enjoyed the video one more time this night. Good headphones are mandatory to get the full aspect of the arrangement which is definitely no light fare IMHO. I think I need to dig into it a couple of times. The operatic part captivates me currently the most. And the ticking of the clock is really nice😄, it reminds me of Pink Floyd "Time" - this is epic. Did you already give it a try? Somehow the whole arrangement of "Prescient" reminds of a mixture of Marillion/Fish and Pink Floyd. A very interesting song. Thank you for introducing it, Elizabeth.
Arjen did a cover of Veteran of the Psychic Wars that is soooo good. I can't find a live version of it, but it's a great listen.
Cool you are covering Mike!! He is a treasure from my city Melbourne, probably the best singer I can think of in the country right now. Got to share a bill with him with my band he's a lovely chap. Oh and just a small I think his name is spelled Micheal just for your your title :)
27:50 there starts the Gentle Giant reference Arjen mentioned in the interview. Nice little homage!
How cool is this? Michael and Ross in one song and this written by the living god of whatever he is doing ( for me it always seems to be a kind of magic , what Arjen brings to reality).
Btw. You really should dig deep in the World of Haken , dearest Elisabeth, it is worth every second.
If I am not wrong , You already did " The Cockroach King "? If not I would recommend it as a first glimpse of what Haken is.
Back to Star One , I am so exited for the whole album , thank You for a little "relieve" and your wonderful teatime with Arjen.
What a guy! I immediately wanted him to be my best friend and hearing both of you speaking Deutsch made me really laugh ( in the most positive manner possible).
Btw.my Vinyl-Version of "Star One" is preordered and now I feel a little bit guilty for being one of the guys delaying the Release...but I know it is worth it! Have a nice weekend alltogether!
Yes, more Mike Mills! One question Elizabeth; can't you hear some André Matos in Mike's style?
I thought I could and the fact he covered Wuthering Heights recently, like André did in the first Angra Album (or the second, not sure) is kind of a hint.
Please, react to Michael Mill's "Toehider" project. You will be amazed by songs like "You and I both loose" or "Concerning Lix&Fairs", "The thing with me" (vocal masterpiece), I'll put my money where my mouth is ! You can find on UA-cam his album with all lyrics in real time ("What kind of creature am I").
Let the weekend begin, 2 and a half hours of amazing content should be a great start. Kirk better make you a great breakfast 🥞
hey Elizabeth!! You have GOT to listen to some Yes music. Their vocalist, Jon Anderson, is so unique and interesting - I don’t want to spoil anything, but he’s truly got a voice unlike any other. Would highly recommend you listen to something from the album Fragile, Close to the Edge, or (if you’re feeling super brave) Tales From Topographic Oceans or Relayer. I would love to hear your insight on his voice, because it just blows me away every time I hear it.
I read Yes has a new album out last year. Do you recommend it? I didn't know about Yes until they sang the closing credits for the game Homeworld. I guess, since I must've been 17 or 18 back then, that that was my actual introduction to prog. :)
@@maanvis81 Honestly, I wouldn’t suggest you start with their new album. It is perfectly listenable, but it’s nothing mind-blowing, and they currently lack a few band members who I consider to be super crucial to their overall sound - chiefly Chris Squire, their bassist who unfortunately passed away in 2015, and Jon Anderson, their singer who I shouted out in my first comment. If you’re looking to get into the band, I would highly recommend their album entitled “The Yes Album” (not to be confused with their first album, called “Yes” lol), or the subsequent “Fragile.” These two albums have singles that you may have heard on classic rock radio stations, but aren’t as experimental or out there as some of their later albums like “Tales” or “Relayer.” They do, however, have a huge discography spanning 50 or so years, so I’m certain that if you wanted to get into the band in earnest, you’d find something you liked! :)
First time hearing, this so reminds me of Rush…the time signatures, storytelling, etc. I feel like it's the 80s again. 😂
Now we need some Haken on this channel!
“WWWHHHEEEEENNNN”
(citing lyrics from Invasion)
I highly recommend reacting to "Drag Ropes" by Storm Corrosion. Its a collab between the singer of opeth and steven Wilson. It has some really cool rhythmic vocal layering and harmonies.
Yes! This channel definetily needs some Steven Wilson.
Ed Warby is such a musical drummer...
And of course he sometimes sings ;)
I just got done listening to Song of Durin by clamavi de profundis and surprised that I can't find a video of your reaction/analysis of it. But I thought to my self hey you know which channel would like this song and immediately had to comment on your recent video.
What happens if you put two musical geniuses together? Magic.... magic happens. Since the release this song is on permanent loop.
Who are you excluding from that definition?
How is it possible that nobody suggested you to do "Dracula" by Iced Earth? Or at least "Melissa" by Mercyful Fate? Anyway, I love what you're doing here, you're the first vocal coach/singer I've seen whose videos are sincere. And by that I mean that you really listen to suggested stuff for the first time in your life, you just can't fake those reactions, and that's kinda the most important thing about videos like these. Or at least it is to me. Also, you have this childlike/cute way of doing it which makes it even more interesting, 'cause after 20 years of listening to rock and metal I just can't incite such a reaction in myself anymore, but it takes me back to when I first heard those songs and that's more than enough. For instance, when I've found out about your channel (yesterday lol) and saw your reaction to "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, it sparked this warm/fuzzy/funny feeling inside, being 12 years old and hearing that "cool intro" for the first time leaving you stunned for days. Thank you for that. Now, I don't know what your plans for the near future are, being new to the channel and all, but I would like to suggest quite a few gems for your reaction&analysis videos, I think we'll all have a blast out of them. First one being the upper mentioned - ua-cam.com/video/tOd-1XAWN3A/v-deo.html
Thank you once again :)
P.S. - "COOL intro"? Hahaha, adorable.
I would love to see an analysis of really any song of your choosing from Ice Nine Kills. Spencer Charnas has an incredible voice. Both with screaming and singing. An album I would recommend is The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood.
One of the vocalists has moments reminiscent of Geddy Lee vocals.
In the theme of time - Rush - Time Stand Still
Hey, Elizabeth!
You should check out "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" by Crash Test Dummies. Love the channel. Keep up the great work.
Hello, Elizabeth and Marc... may I make a recommendation as to one band for you to give a listen, an analysis and a critique of?... Emerson, Lake and Palmer... I leave it to you as to what to use for analysis... I may add that anything off their first three albums would be an excellent choice... thank you again, for such wonderful vids that you present, always a bright part of my day and I fully enjoy them... take care and stay safe...:)
Ross Jennings' band Haken is incredible. Theyre like Dream Theater but have more fun with their music. All their songs would be great to listen to, but i would start with Celestial Elixir or Falling Back to Earth
I would love to hear your take on
Hell Yeah "Hush". Hell Yeah is a very aggressive combo of Mudvayne and Pantera. After Dimebag was killed his brother Vinny got together and formed a very loud and aggressive sound. But Hush is a very strong emotional song.
Thanks
