Excellent discussion. I've learned alot thru the years from Focus on the Family and what friends have gone through with their children and grandchildren.
At 71, I have worked as a Lunch Supervisor in an Elementary school for now my 7th year. I love all the kids but especially the Jr High. I cannot tell you how much love I get from them, especially the boys. I definitely get after them when they are not following the "rules" because they know they're not and push the envelope. But, they also know I care about them and want them to be safe.
One big plus is I attend their games and events, Boys and Girls, as much as possible. They really appreciate it and ask if I will be there. I feel what I do has a higher purpose. Even when they get to H S, they love Miss Barbara,
because I will go to games there too.
    I do have 2 grandsons 6 and 4 that I
love being with and I retired at 65 so I could help out with them. It’s a total
    blessing.
Again, thank you for these thoughts
    about teenagers. 🙏 💪 ♥

Thank you for sharing your story, Barbara. It's very encouraging to hear that you're out there supporting these kids. What a blessing you are!
