    I have dark blonde hair and I dyed it with crazy colour ruby rouge without using bleach since I wanted a dark red and it was lovely. However I want to remove it now without using bleach so I can go back to my natural hair colour. I tried shampoo and baking soda and some of the dye did come off but my hair is still dark red. What do I do 😭😭. I thought semi permanent dye would rinse off within a month it so .

      Ahh that's a tricky one! Red likes to stain the hair and is notoriously hard to get out! It's good your not using bleach as you'd loose your natural colour underneath and of course damage your hair, if it were me I'd probably try colour remover even though they are supposed to just work on permanent dye.. humm maybe you could use a semi permanent ashy shade to tone down the red but if you do It won't make it lighter, will just tone the shade you have. But remember I'm only guessing too! A lot of my hair is trile and error! Good luck with what you decide x

      @@minnaminnaminnaminna yes!! Took some work but the best solution I found was using baking soda and shampoo. It took me around 3 or 4 times of this hair mask to get rid out of the colour completely but it’s a cheap alternative. Baking soda is relatively cheap and just use a cheap shampoo or the one you already have. Mix half shampoo and half baking soda in a bowl, depending on how much hair you have and apply on dry hair. Leave the hair mask on as long as you can so it can really work. I recommend around half an hour or so. Then rinse with hot water and repeat the process till the dye is gone. It doesn’t damage you hair or anything so don’t worry and with every wash the dye will start coming off. I’m so happy it worked since I tried all sorts of methods. I hope this helps 💞💞

    So if i understood right, the color you had on before remover was Direction? So the remover is not just for the Crazy colors dyes?

    wow, great results!! so you used diluted orange semi-permanent hair dye to go over the minty hair color and then you used anti brass shampoo/conditioner to remove the orange-y shades? bc I'm stuck with faded teal hair dye and nothing really helped so far to get it all out, now I'm thinking about using the Crazy Color Back to Base remover. so in case I get a minty tone like you did, the orange dye and then purple shampoo menthod works? 😍 thank you!!

      Hey 😊 yeah exactly that.
      well it worked for me but my ends were left with a slight grey/green tinge so I cut them off and now have a bob! (see latest video) but might be fine with yours as everyones hair is different.. If you look at the colour wheel, go for the opposite colour to neutralise what you have, diluted with conditioner and don't leave on for long. Remember im not an expert... Good luck! All the best x

      @@eleanorslay87 thank you sooo much!! I don't have much of the bleached and dyed blue hair left, most of it is outgrown roots, so if it ends up worse I'll just cut it off 😋 trying to save the blonde to dye it another color, tho 🌞

      @@eleanorslay87 as I'm planning to go for a warm yellow I'd be okay with my hair being still a bit orange, but greenish/tealish hair would be less-than-ideal 😬 thank you so much!! 😍 xxx

    did it damage your hair?

    • @eleanorslay87
      @eleanorslay87  3 роки тому

      Unfortunately all chemical processes damage the hair, by how much is due to the condition of your hair to start with, how long you leave it on for and the strength of the product.
      But yes my hair was damaged but not as much as it would be if I used straight bleach.
      Hope this helps!

    did you use crazy color when you dyed your hair? i thought it was semi permanent and was supposed to come out 🤭

    • @eleanorslay87
      @eleanorslay87  4 роки тому

      Hiya I used directions hair dye that time but the principal is the same.
      If you apply semi permanent hair dye on bleached hair it can stain the hair due to the porosity of the hair after the bleaching process.. It sucks because your right they do claim to be semi permanent.. I hope the method I used can help you. Also there are many other methods you might want to try also.. Check out ua-cam.com/users/AkaAislinn channel she has some great colour fading advice.

      Of crazy colour? Depens on the thickness of your hair but i'd get two to be sure as it's important to really saturate your hair to prevent patchiness.
