Right off the bat, I’m confused by the use of the phrase “launch day” when ACX doesn’t inform you of the date the audiobook will go live.

Thanks for the interview Jessica. I am a new author. I write long sci fi novelettes (vignette(s) (one so far). I noticed you mentioned that you write with audio in mind. I noticed I do that too. I tend to think my writing style is more for the listener. . Audio does better for me than eBooks. I have no traction ( I have not been at this long on the promo side either). ROI is likely two years out from now especially if I continue to write. But writing is a hobby. I have my eye on ROI. But to be read and liked is the goal. If ROI ends up small that is fine. It is a hobby in retirement. Do you have any advice to us (and there is a lot ... even for aspiring writers ... this seems more a hobby with little traction especially in the eBook arena.) You have MANY more reviews on the audio side vs. the eBook side. Is this a result of writing with audio in mind? Seems so. Looking to hear your thoughts if you have time. Thanks, Frank.

I’m sure she is a good writer but in this video she says “um” and “eeeyund” a thousand times and her vocal grinding is intense. This is your guidance video??
