i hate to be this dramatic but my god was klaus a once in a live time "villain" i have yet to encounter a character with such a complex story arc. Joseph Morgan deserves all the awards!!!!!
Klaus was such a good villain that they couldnt kill him, eben when they had the white oak, the numbers. Even when witches had the power too, he only died because he wanted too, because he knew it'd save hope.
Joseph is AMAZING!!!! The Originals made me love Klaus. He still had his moments of recklessness and paranoia but we got to see that under his facad he's more emotional and broken than all of his siblings
Yes, same ❤️ He only lashed out due to the pain and betrayal he had experienced, so ended up getting in first rather than being vulnerable to let others hurt him. The way he was with Caroline and Cami made me get a crush on him 😁 and of course the accent and dimples didn’t hurt either 🤣💋
Well I don’t understand why people think he’s so bad I mean if I was that broken without that much power I would do much more worst things than this. He’s fine for me
Joseph Morgan is a phenomenal actor. I am constantly searching for new things that he is in just to be able to see him again. The cast of TVD and TO are incredible, but he is definitely at the top tier.
I love Joseph Morgan.... I'm watching The Originals for the first time, and I've watched The Vampire Diaries several times, and the one constant for me is that I absolutely love Joseph Morgan as Klaus (and Daniel Gillies as Elijah)
People find Klaus's dying scene the saddest but I think the scene where Davina breaks off Klaus's link to his sire line, the most depressing scene ever. That scene more or less seals the downfall of Klaus and the despair in his eyes upon realisation of his impending fate!
Klaus will always be my favourite❤ No one else comes even close to bringing this character alive than he does👐 And his language/pronunciation is perfectly enticing👌

This just popped up in my recommendations and I have to say that I am a huge TVD fan and Klaus wasn't even my favorite character but every time Joseph Morgan was on screen he stole the show. His acting was hands down the best out of any of them.
Honestly, all the actors and actresses casted in both The Vampire Diaries, The Originals and Legacies were perfectly casted. Joseph did amazing as Klaus. In TVD he was a Big Bad of several seasons of the show, and he did so brillantly. In TO, he showed the true depth of his acting and showed a humanity to what was in one show, an unredeemable monster. He was Amazing. Can't wait to see what else he achieves.
#2, The scene with Mikeal is absolutely heart breaking. For him to say he doesn't know why he treated Klaus so badly while he sobs is so earth shatteringly depressing. #5, (TVD) - #7 (TO) TVD: When he sees Kol d!e , Joesph Morgan did NOT hold back for this one, the way he punched the shiel/ spelled wall, screamed "I was going to make him suffer ON MY TERMS", the way he cried. It was all just amazingly devestating because of Klaus. TO: For him to finally open up to Kol instead of fight and just say "I NEED YOU, MY BROTHER, TO STAND BY MY SIDE" is HUGE for Klaus. He would never kill him as he has seen him die and remembers that pain. So for him to finally tell Kol that, shows how much he loves him. #3, This is obvious but I wanna point how the SECOND Klaus brought out those Hybrid eyes and Rebekah stops grinning, drops the dagger and tells Marcel to pick the coin up or he won't stop until he finishes with Marcel was true defeat but also a true moment to show how well she knows her brother. & Last but not least, my 2nd favorite to his scene with Mikeal (#2) #4, Klaus and his mother have so many issues but for her to ask why he won't give her forgiveness and he finally stated what we were all thinking in saying (she came for Hope??? Hell no.) "BECAUSE YOU CAME FOR MY CHILD!!!! MY DAUGHTER!!! YOUR OWN BLOOD!!! MY. CHILD!!!!" & The fact he stayed standing and strong with such passionate anger over his littlest wolf up against Esther's magic is INSANE and SHOWS SO MUCH PROOF IN HOW MUCH HE LOVED HIS DAUGHTER & FAMILY. The fact he TURNED HER with the "I am my mothers son" was AMAZING.
He’s so damn talented I just hope he does more movies because he’s got the role in titans he’s gonna get the recognition he deserves and I know he’s already famous but I mean everyone should know him
Honestly, it's a great video, but my top 10 10. The episode where Camille died when klaus and her finally got things going, seeing him flip out with pure rage, is just so heartbreaking 9. Was with his father staking him in season 2 in front of Freya, Elijah, and Rebecca 8. When Hailey died in front of him knowing that he couldn't save her because of Elijah ( no hate ) 7. Him and Hailey arguing about how to protect baby hope 6. His last message to hope in legacies 5. Him, kneeling for Hailey in front of Lucian 4. The dinner scene where he confronted his mother in season 2 3. The final message before his death in the last episode in the originals to hope and the rest of his family 2. The episode with him and Caroline, where he gave her the drawing in vampire diares 1. The final episode of the originals, the death of the big bad wolf, the original hybrid klaus mikaelson himself
0:13 I remember the first time I saw that scene at first I felt bad for Marcel and thought Klaus was in the wrong and I actually even had a tear in my eye when I saw Marcel's lips come together which to me implied that he was sad over what his step father did and that he loved Klaus deep down but now I wish Klaus made Marcel suffer more. I felt bad until I realized what Klaus was going through because of him and what Marcel actually did: He called Mikeal to kill him, destroyed Klaus's empire which was much better than Marcel's, stole his city, claimed himself a king, demanded respect from the most powerful of all supernaturals at the time, hid secrets instantly, armed his men with vervain, had his guys follow him, killed someone he wanted alive, let Klaus mourn him for 100 years without a thought about him, acted all high and mighty in front of him, said Klaus started something when he didn't start he finished and created and Marcel destroyed it and then later called Davina too powerful for him and tried to use her to kill him only to cry like a baby on Klaus blaming him for her death so I hate Marcel and honestly when he returns in legacies Hope should make him pay.
Agreed! He brought Mikael to town with the intention of making Klaus leave. Mikael left Marcel tied up and burning in the opera house so of course the originals thought he was dead. He goes on and on about how they ran like b!tches and they abandoned him but it was all his fault. He played victim so much. He loved Rebekah but constantly told her "you never came back for me" but her never went looking for her. I had a love hate relationship with marcel
I'm not sure what you meant when you said Marcel called Mikael? I thought it was confirmed that Rebekah called Mikael which is why they fled New Orleans Klaus and his family also didn't come back for hundreds of years so Marcel taking over isn't stealing? Marcel also had perfect control over the witches and the wolves so from the vampires perspective how did Klaus run it better? Everything legit only got worse from The Original family being around. Marcel making them leave and them having to leave again when Hope took in the hollow did nothing but bring peace to the city Elijah literally tried to kill Marcel because the Original family can't stand to know somebody is stronger than them. Instead of having one of the most powerful creatures on the planet as an ally if they actually just treated him like a friend. Elijah tried killing him as far as I'm concerned they brought that upon themselves.
@@jwilsthem.c3780 Ok. Long comment so I will split my answer to you into multiple of my own. You would know what I meant if you had watched the show and payed attention. Mikeal being called started with Marcellus wanting to steal Klaus's city for himself in his fear of being in Klaus's shadow so he stupidly went to world war 1 against Klaus's demands and while away he called Papa Tsunde to town because he was stupid enough to think a witch especially one like him stood a chance against Klaus in an attempt to get him out of the city believing he could handle the Tsunde problem like how he thought he could handle the originals with Davina's help. Of course neither went according to plan so after Tsunde's murder he tricked Rebekah into thinking he did called him there so he could be with her and she was naive enough to believe him so she suggested the idea of calling Mikeal to New Orleans. Together they convinced Genevieve to help them which Rebekah instantly regretted and attempted to undo which resulted in Genevieve's death and Mikeal's arrival after several months. So in turn while Rebekah did technically summon Mikeal she is a child and children can be tricked into doing stupid things. Of course the children's misdeeds can be fixed and the Mikeal arrival was compensated eventually but that was no thanks to Rebekah or Marcellus. At any rate Rebekah did technically call Mikeal but it was entirely Marcel's fault. If he hasn't tricked her she never would have called him and New Orleans would have thrived and been prosperous something it has never since because Marcellus is not a capable ruler. So Marcellus technically did call Mikeal.
@@jwilsthem.c3780 Klaus and his family came back after less than a hundred years and it is stealing. So if someone steals a house from you and you somehow live for over 100 years and only then come back to take it back it wasn't stolen? 😂. It is stealing and if he hadn't called Mikeal they wouldn't have left.
@@jwilsthem.c3780 Marcellus did not have perfect control over anything. The vampires Marcellus sires were unworthy pests who didn't know better than to follow orders and even then they were rebellious repeatedly and would have betrayed him sooner or later which they technically did. If you wanna know how Klaus ran it better I suggest to read the canon originals novels the rise, the loss and the ressurection which take place 100 years before Marcellus was born when the originals first came to New Orleans and built it. Spoiler alert in a time span of 40 years the originals rebuilt New Orleans from complete destruction into far greater glory then it ever had before or since. They defeated and exiled both the witches and werewolves and later allowed them back in via deals and controlled them perfectly. Under Klaus witches, vampires and werewolves and even occasionally humans fought together side by side repeatedly and managed to overlook their hatred for each other where as Marcellus did nothing but exile and curse werewolves using a renegade witch, he temporarily controlled the witches through fear using a naive brat which would have ended with everyone's deaths if Klaus hadn't arrived and he at best controlled a bunch of weak, cowardly and incapable vampires who again would have turned against him eventually. The vampires that the originals sired were far more worthy and advanced as well as far more loyal. Let me tell you another story with relative spoilers. During Klaus's wedding an incident occured where his army of vampires (who were also proud guests might I add) were weakened and his home was surprise attacked under a very strong siege. Klaus immediately took charge to fight off the invaders before being told by both his siblings and vampires to stay inside and let them deal with it. Klaus's followers were so loyal that they wouldn't let their king dirty his hands on his wedding day and decided to fight for him instead against a massively powerful enemy they knew nothing about who outnumbered them and they still pulled a victory even though just 1 of those invaders put up a strong fight against Elijah who Marcellus and his whole vampire army couldn't touch in a fight. Under Klaus vampires, witches, werewolves, hybrids, originals and humans all lived and danced together while under Marcellus everything was always on the verge of war and he controlled pretty much nothing. Mikeal even specifically stated that what Klaus made was to be proud of and even the humans admired him while Marcellus was strongly disliked by the humans and needed to bride them with money for them to just look the other way and you call that control? Everything got worse from the originals family being around 😂😂!? What about Davina exploding? If Klaus and the originals hadn't arrived due you really think Marcellus would have sacrificed Davina? If he didn't she would have exploded and taken all of New Orleans with her. There would be nothing there left all because of Marcellus.
In vampires diary everyone hated him because they can't understand him, in originals people understood him but can't understand being the only hybrid, in the end we loved him because we finally understand why he did what he did, in legacy we loved his daughter 😅 lol
I feel a genuine connection to Klaus, his dedication and paranoia of family, his strength and cruelty to mask his true weaknesses, one of them being he truly has a kind heart, his fear of abandonment; all of it besides the fact my name is Nicholas and his is Nicklaus, he genuinely cares for his siblings but doesn't always choose the best words or actions to do right by them which I whole heartedly understand and empathize with
The thing about Klaus character is Joseph acted so well that when you started hating Klaus he will do or say something which will make you love him again. Not sure if my point made sense and it's hard to explain but there's something about him that you can't hate but love him again and again. Also he acted tough and strong but he's really broken inside. His character went through so much that he can't completely trust anyone apart from Elijah.
Klaus vs marcel's army was one of my favourite moments, the show of force is majestic. I wish they would've made it so Klaus would unleash his werewolf side and could transform
@@gbaex413 yeah but if he became a full hybrid he would’ve been able to transform. He just has venom. Even when he had his daughter and she was about to bind her werewolf side too he said he didn’t want that for her. So I’m guessing he still wasn’t really a full hybrid. Hayley could transform tho
@@gbaex413 bro klaus stops the binding ritual of his daughter in the later seasons of the originals. The mere fact that he has a daughter that’s born and grown means it’s way past tvd obviously. All I’m saying is we never seen him turn into a werewolf even tho he did break the curse since tvd. And btw he did like his wolf side, he said it was amazing in the only scene where we see waking up naked after a night running around as a wolf. That part of him should’ve been more showcased
oh u missed that one scene where Klaus break downs in the family dinner with fin and Esther. where he realises that the necklace Esther gave him made him weak. it was maybe in 2 × 03
Klaus was one of my favourite TV show characters ever, and Joseph Morgan was amazing. He was way too good for TVD/Originals, but I'm glad they chose him to play Klaus because he was the reason I kept watching the shows. He's a fantastic actor and you can really feel the love and emotion he put into playing Klaus.
This level of acting is just something else. I am not a movie freak but i been a freak for watching the originals. I don't want to see any other film...just kept on watching anything i am free..
number 5 is still unbelievable to me… like how tf did two teenagers manage to kill an original?? I mean, yes, that had the weapon to kill him but still, he had their strength combined times a hundred AT LEAST. Sooo much plot armour! Also, they call Klaus a monster, and then they just leave him there, in front of his brother’s CORPSE, without even bothering to cover it up??!! That is a level of cruelty I can’t put into words.
Exactly, elena and her friends killed millions of vampires around the world just for their own gain yet someone klaus is their great evil,it is how they can instantly act so righteous whenever their lives are being threatened that is sickening.

I really wish this included his scene with his mother. The one where he says “you are the author of who I am”
Yes! That one hit me hard!
that's the best
best acting scene over all these
And with his birth father and step father.
Yes that one should have been 3rd place in my opinion

I liked the scene with his mother at the table as the last harvest girl. “You’re the author of everything I’ve become”
That was the best scene for me. Although all Klaus' scenes are all good.
I watched that scene today 😊
Klaus' interaction with Mikael before he killed him made me cry because as a child all we ever wanted was love from our parents. Sure we say we want all those material things to be loved, but at the end of day all those petty things never last, but a parent's love is forever.
This is why a lot of us are now grown and have developed severe hatred and resentment for our parents. And they wonder why we don't call them anymore.
What's even more telling is the fact that he was shedding a tear in front of the man that hated him most. He was THAT hurt
Uff the way he teared up when cami was describing the paint, didn't notice before.

CAUSE YOU CAME FOR MY CHILD MY DAUGHTER hits so fucking hard low key my favorite moment of him standing on business
watching this years after the series has finished, made me think how they didn't do him justice in the end.
That number 3 scene.. the way it happened in the movie.. it's one of d greatest scene i have ever seen in a movie..
Klaus vs marcel's army was one of my favourite moments, the show of force is majestic. I wish they would've made it so Klaus would unleash his werewolf side and could transform
Klaus became a full hybrid because he absolutely hated becoming a werewolf
@@gbaex413 yeah but if he became a full hybrid he would’ve been able to transform. He just has venom. Even when he had his daughter and she was about to bind her werewolf side too he said he didn’t want that for her. So I’m guessing he still wasn’t really a full hybrid. Hayley could transform tho
@@fantasma8253 He was... The Originals happens after TVD
👏 thank you.....this was awesome. Most especially for #1....I was hoping it would be here 😭😭😭
He's the most moving actor I've ever watched.
Damn! i have to watch The Originals again ❤
Joseph Morgan is too good in this role.
7 is one of the best scenes
It's my birthday today... happy birthday to me...
Oh yes I love Klaus Mikaelson. He's my Fav.
Happy Birthday
@@sharifrancis9826 thank you love...
Niklaus Mikaelson is My All Time Favorite Character and Joseph Morgan is My All Time Favorite Actor.
The more u see these scenes the deeper his acting skills seems..
The clip of Klaus facing Marcel’s army is so damn good, the second Klaus looks up with his wolf eyes, I’m just like “fxck yeah” 🔥
Klaus is on of mine favourite
oh u missed that one scene where Klaus break downs in the family dinner with fin and Esther. where he realises that the necklace Esther gave him made him weak. it was maybe in 2 × 03
I’m mad at myself for forgetting that when doing this, you’re totally right
@@theherowithnofear1424 bro waht is the name of the song in the first scene he meets camille with the painter please🙏
Joseph Morgan for house of the dragon 🐉
The scene of the final episode of season 2 where he talk to Cammie in the bar is a great scene
Wow good collection and very impressive, iam amazed 👏
Great actor Brilliant
Joseph Morgan IS Klaus Milaelson ❤
Chills. So much chills. Every. Damn. Time. 💜 4:50
This level of acting is just something else. I am not a movie freak but i been a freak for watching the originals. I don't want to see any other film...just kept on watching anything i am free..
Niklaus mikaelson the thing that all lesser men fear
Brilliant
Thank you Paul for Joseph he always be our Klaus Mikaelson 😢😢😢
Klaus is one Best actor in this drilling series I have ever come across
Season 1 episode 22 when he said hope her name is hope I cried a river bro
Looking into his eyes when he's crying boy I died he is beautiful❤❤❤❤
For sure the number one scene is the saddest. My thoughts after Klaus says to them "yoiu can stay here and rot" were surely justified.
Klaus was The only reason i watched vampire diarys and then the originals ofc
The song choices at the end of each episode 😢just the perfect selection
Klaus still one of the greatest characters ever put on television
number 5 is still unbelievable to me… like how tf did two teenagers manage to kill an original?? I mean, yes, that had the weapon to kill him but still, he had their strength combined times a hundred AT LEAST. Sooo much plot armour! Also, they call Klaus a monster, and then they just leave him there, in front of his brother’s CORPSE, without even bothering to cover it up??!! That is a level of cruelty I can’t put into words.
Exactly, elena and her friends killed millions of vampires around the world just for their own gain yet someone klaus is their great evil,it is how they can instantly act so righteous whenever their lives are being threatened that is sickening.
An original that should be able to fight multiple vampires at once was killed by a baby vampire and a teenager
@@adedamolafadipe8709 fr!
He already made a deal with Bonnie
Love klaus. Best character in original and vampire diaries
Klaus is my favorite and Elijah is my second favorite
While Elijah is my favourite,I have to say Joseph Morgan IS Klaus as Klaus is Joseph Morgan...there's no guessing about that
Nah in number 6 he’s actually terrifying 😭
8:58 if kols angry about that imagine Finns anger after the endless pain and torture he suffered inside that box
i honestly wished we saw cami and haley waiting for Klaus and Elijah like josh and aiden.
Joseph Morgan is a fantastic actor
that hybrids scene on the time was one of the best scenes, klaus showed his truly savage side in that time
perfect
I love how Klaus asks "What did you do?" like he didn't just watch it all unfold 😂
Where's the scene of "Meet your maker"
That one was damn good
“ I daggered all of you” I felt that in my soul 😞
I almost pissed myself laughing when so many people thought he bought the painting cause it reminded him of Caroline. like, fucking hell.
