Personally I thought legacies missed out many opportunities to expand the TVD universe we could've had for example a being that claimed to be nature itself because in the series they make many references to nature being responsible for many things like the creation of doppelgangers. We could've had the final villan be the living embodiment of nature (with a name like Gaya) and would possess people to manifest itself and would seek to destroy hope for being a creature too powerful to exist and that her existence would threaten to throw the world out of balance. This would also have been a better way to explain the origin of the witches who first contacted Gaya. We could've also had stuff like *A Bennett Witch In The Salvatore School *The return Of Henrik Mikealson( the necromancer could've brought him back since he died human)
I 100% agree that they messed up legacies. Heck hope was so nerfed that it made no sense. As the first Mikaelson witch of her generation she should be stronger than Freya and Dahlia, who has better feats than Devina, yet she was struggling against some fodder witches. It became too much of a high school drama than a fantasy series. And having Hope fight "Gods" was too much of a stretch for the series.
One of Klaus' best moments in the entire franchise (and I love the character) in addition to his line... If thats the only way to keep you sane you have the perfect father ^^ He just rolls with it and still loves her... Like he does with all his family... I think he even loves his mum and mikael but is to angree about their actions to show it...
The way she said "dad" and he knew he could take it because she needed to let it out was so beautiful. He loved her so much the immortal all powerful hybrid died for her 😭😭😭 this show made me sob
Daniell can do 2 emotions very well: crying and emotionless-face. Sometimes it feels like there is no inbetween. The only character i like in the show is Elizabeth, everytime she is on screen she is a treat to watch. She doesnt have sonichu style evil versions of herself and her character flaws and strengths are always 2 sides of the same coin. Loyalty - codependance. Emotional maturity - years of theraphy because of anger issues. Is willing to take charge - infeority complex. List goes on And I feel like because of the actor is like 30 years old her acting has a certain selfawareness lacking in other characters.

They built her up to well, she is too op. There is no character in the series that can be a threat for her, but I feel her breaking that seal and becoming a tribrid may have opened our plane to something older and more powerful then the big three races that run the supernatural TVD universe. I truly think this new guy that all the malivore chimeras lol are trying to kill is a god. I believe the old gods may be entering the picture with malivore gone and hopefully activated.

That they have this incredibly powerful TRIBRID for a character, and instead of making the show about her journey they make it about her relationship with one useless guy (yeah I lowkey hate Landon and think he’s a complete dumbass but well everyone in this is show is dumb to a certain extent) and it’s frustrating because instead of focusing on a girl who is powerful beyond her control and dealing with it, they focus on a girl so hung up on one guy she practically gives up a massive chunk of her life to him, literally couldn’t continue watching this show midway through season 3 becoz the way they changed hope’s character just hurts

Hope's situation is very complicated. She suffered a lot, both her parents died and her uncle too. She feels guilty for it, she feels sad and lonly but the problem is she never really dealt with it. She just sufocated all her feelings, her guilt, her sadness. What she needs to do to feel better is to allow herself to suffer, to put the grief and the guilt out. She needs to cry this pain out and then start slowly oppening up again. It is a long process.

Hope using magic transmit herself easily into a prison world on her own without any trouble instantly puts her above season 6 of tvd Kai when he was the leader of the Gemini coven. Hope used magic to ressurect everyone's Malivore memories more than once which is in by itself a strong feat. Hope casually deflecting Kai with magic when he tried to bullrush her with vampire speed instantly puts her above the witch in 5x10 of to who made beast Marcel a helpless damsel in distress binding him with magic and was killed by Josh who bullrush snapped his neck despite being attacked from behind. And while Bennet witches like Bonnie couldn't harm vampires as old as Katherine without a massive power source Hope knocked out Aurora out and bound her as if it was child's play.

This again, shows so well how good they are at depicting the link between Hope's mental health and her powers. The magic outbursts she had in that one episode were a constant for her before the years of therapy. And they had simmered down, but were never really gone, like during the Miss Mystic Falls pageant, where she was in a very complicated situation for the first time in a long time. She only grew stronger through everything that she endured in Legacies and I am confident she will be able to deal with what she has done when her humanity is back on. It will take time, but she will just grow and, step by step, physically and mentally, become what she was meant to be. I honestly hope Klaus is watching. I have a feeling he will be proud.

They should've showed us what she was goin through as being the original Tribrid and the pain from both of her parent's death not on sum nigga who is very much useless. Yeah we expected the romance hell we might wanted sum romance. But as time pass by during the show they just kept playing wit Hope's story and that's aggravating. I like hope Mikaelson with no humanity better. Its showing what she could do if she ain't have landon.
I love the change of pace that the show is having. It’s really starting to feel like TVD or TO. And the fact that the weekly monster thing is over simply brings me joy. It’s not that it wasn’t interesting, it’s just that the Malivore storyline would’ve been great if it had ended after season 2. And Hope is really growing into her own. From my good guy pov I think that she’s being insufferable, but as just a viewer I love her villain dynamic. And, seeing as she’s the tribrid, she’s supposed to be the most powerful being in the world (Still waiting for Marcel to take his shot at trying to defeat her, seeing as he’s supposed to be stronger than an Original) so she’s pretty much supposed to be overpowered. And Hope and Landon has been stretched out way longer than it should’ve been. At this point I’m waiting for them to break up or kill him off (for real this time). Like, seriously, it’s like their trying to create another Damon and Elena relationship and it’s not working. I personally kinda like Landon at first because in TO it looked like he’d be her first healthy relationship. But no, she is so dependent on him that she’d rather not feel anything than not live without him. On some level it’s sweet that she loves him so much but overall it’s so unhealthy, especially because he’s broken up with her like 3 times so that dependency isn’t mutual. Honestly, they just need to wrap up that relationship or at least just make them friends. Ok that’s the end of my rant
Im a bit late but all ima say is, klaus did his best for his daughter, tried his hardest to change. klaus was deep down a really good man. Elijah and klaus will be remembered for everything they did for their family. :D (Klaus is my favorite btw)
It wasn’t even really that it’s the fact he barely got to spend time with hope as a baby yes but not as a child or a teenager the minute he was in her life something came crashing down to force him away like the hollow or the witches. We didn’t get enough of klaus being a good father that was the problem in my opinion and when he was in her life he tried hard to hide even though hope knew what he was and was capable of.

I did not like Lizzie at first. She's still not my favorite. But the bond she and Hope have is crazy and unexpected, yet works so freakin' well. Definitely underrated best friendemies for sure! haha

I’ll go ahead and say it. It’s as clear as day that the writers for tvd and even TO are not the same as legacies. The budget for legacies is crap and we all know this. I’ve been a huge fan of this series for a long time and because I’m loyal I’ve kept up with it but it’s all gone downhill. Realistically the cast for legacies isn’t bad.. but the writing is so cringe and so amateur and nothing like it’s predecessors that it’s ruining it not only new fans but the loyal ones. It’s just sad to see so much potential for another spinoff of a iconic show to be great and take things into another direction yet the show hasn’t stepped up like the it should’ve .

This week we finally seen Hope act like a Mikaelson and a being who is so strong she once held the Hollow all by her damn self. Still unimpressed, her upgraded Papa Tunde blade was at least finally worth watching. This show clearly lacks budget, it could have been great.

It's funny cause first Dahlia WANTED Hope and said that she "belonged" to her. Now Inadu WANTED Hope because of how powerful she can be. If both were to still be alive, I'm pretty sure they would fight for Hope, this making Dahlia train harder and trying to actually fight her or maybe even "Kill" her, but I'm sure that Inadu is more powerful than Dahlia because she is 100-200 years older.
I notice all these guys with their UA-cam channels running videos complaining that female heroes/villains are "overpowered." I've never seen a video saying that Superman or The Flash or Aquaman or whatnot are overpowered. Hope casually deflecting Kai with magic when he tried to bullrush her with vampire speed instantly puts her above the witch in 5x10 of to who made beast Marcel a helpless damsel in distress binding him with magic and was killed by Josh who bullrush snapped his neck despite being attacked from behind. And while Bennet witches like Bonnie couldn't harm vampires as old as Katherine without a massive power source Hope knocked out Aurora out and bound her as if it was child's play.

This again, shows so well how good they are at depicting the link between Hope's mental health and her powers. The magic outbursts she had in that one episode were a constant for her before the years of therapy. And they had simmered down, but were never really gone, like during the Miss Mystic Falls pageant, where she was in a very complicated situation for the first time in a long time. She only grew stronger through everything that she endured in Legacies and I am confident she will be able to deal with what she has done when her humanity is back on. It will take time, but she will just grow and, step by step, physically and mentally, become what she was meant to be. I honestly hope Klaus is watching. I have a feeling he will be proud.

I love the change of pace that the show is having. It’s really starting to feel like TVD or TO. And the fact that the weekly monster thing is over simply brings me joy. It’s not that it wasn’t interesting, it’s just that the Malivore storyline would’ve been great if it had ended after season 2. And Hope is really growing into her own. From my good guy pov I think that she’s being insufferable, but as just a viewer I love her villain dynamic. And, seeing as she’s the tribrid, she’s supposed to be the most powerful being in the world (Still waiting for Marcel to take his shot at trying to defeat her, seeing as he’s supposed to be stronger than an Original) so she’s pretty much supposed to be overpowered. And Hope and Landon has been stretched out way longer than it should’ve been. At this point I’m waiting for them to break up or kill him off (for real this time). Like, seriously, it’s like their trying to create another Damon and Elena relationship and it’s not working. I personally kinda like Landon at first because in TO it looked like he’d be her first healthy relationship. But no, she is so dependent on him that she’d rather not feel anything than not live without him. On some level it’s sweet that she loves him so much but overall it’s so unhealthy, especially because he’s broken up with her like 3 times so that dependency isn’t mutual. Honestly, they just need to wrap up that relationship or at least just make them friends. Ok that’s the end of my rant

Im a bit late but all ima say is, klaus did his best for his daughter, tried his hardest to change. klaus was deep down a really good man. Elijah and klaus will be remembered for everything they did for their family. :D (Klaus is my favorite btw)
It wasn’t even really that it’s the fact he barely got to spend time with hope as a baby yes but not as a child or a teenager the minute he was in her life something came crashing down to force him away like the hollow or the witches. We didn’t get enough of klaus being a good father that was the problem in my opinion and when he was in her life he tried hard to hide even though hope knew what he was and was capable of.
When Hope turns her humanity back one and the guilt gets to her the power that will come out of her will be explosive. Now that she is a full tribrid

They are potraying her like she's only powerful when she can't control her emotions rather than showing that she's powerful enough to control her very powerful magic! We see her being very powerful during these clips here, but we only see her stronger than they potray her when her humamity's off or she's emotionally unstable. If there is a new seasom, i hope we get to see her reach full potential even with her humanity on, being badass and powerful and learning to control her powers & dealing with her grief/being independent, explore her friendships rather than landon, also bcoz of s4 maybe trying to earn forgiveness for the stuff she did in s4..

I’ll go ahead and say it. It’s as clear as day that the writers for tvd and even TO are not the same as legacies. The budget for legacies is crap and we all know this. I’ve been a huge fan of this series for a long time and because I’m loyal I’ve kept up with it but it’s all gone downhill. Realistically the cast for legacies isn’t bad.. but the writing is so cringe and so amateur and nothing like it’s predecessors that it’s ruining it not only new fans but the loyal ones. It’s just sad to see so much potential for another spinoff of a iconic show to be great and take things into another direction yet the show hasn’t stepped up like the it should’ve .

I am glad people are waking up to this cause for what feels like since the beginning of the show all we've heard from some fans is how underpowered she is when in fact its the exact opposite, the writers completely ignored her struggle with magic as teased in the flashback with dahlia and freya, but lets not pretend its just legacies even in the originals she was overpowered since she was a baby.

This week we finally seen Hope act like a Mikaelson and a being who is so strong she once held the Hollow all by her damn self. Still unimpressed, her upgraded Papa Tunde blade was at least finally worth watching. This show clearly lacks budget, it could have been great.
