- The Corsa E debuted at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The basic chassis architecture of this fifth-generation Corsa is the same as its predecessor’s, so exterior and interior dimensions are identical, give or take a few millimetres, but every exterior panel is new. Led by Brit Mark Adams, Opel’s design team has taken various style cues from the brand’s latest models and distilled them into a supermini shape. Interior space stayed the same, as has the 285-litre boot, but every part of the instrument panel and dashboard is completely new. All of the exterior sheet metal (except the roof) has been revised, but the underlying chassis and body structure (especially the glasshouse) is carried over from Corsa D.
IntelliLink infotainment system can be connected up to Apple or Android smartphones via USB or Bluetooth. The newest iteration of this will "mirror" your phone onto the touchscreen, allowing you to use things like your Google Maps or Spotify through voice command as well as use Siri voice control.
A reinforced, stiffer front sub-frame and new front suspension geometry, plus a new speed-sensitive electric power-steering system, have been designed to sharpen the handling and provide more front-end bite. Two types of suspension - comfort and sport - will also be offered.
It has been revealed that a new Corsa (likely named the Corsa F) will be released in 2018, with the Corsa E finishing production that year.

This worked for me - sourced from Vauxhall Corsa (2012) Owner's Manual-page 20. The problem with this car being that the remote did not lock or unlock the driver door while locking and unlocking the passenger and boot doors. >> 1: Ensure the car is locked prior to steps 2 to 7. 2: Take note which way up the remote battery is facing then completely remove the battery from the remote fob for about 60 seconds. 3: Replace the battery. 4: Take note - Once the battery is replaced do not use the remote to unlock the car. 5: Use the key to open the driver door. 6: Insert the key into the ignition and switch on. 7: Switch off and test. * * * Note: This will not solve the problem if the locking solenoid (an electro-mechanical device) is faulty. This can be tested by locking the doors from inside the car via the internal lock button - insure the lock button is illuminated - then opening the relevant door window. Now test if the relevant door can be opened via the the external door handle. If the door opens while the internal lock button is illuminated and the external door handle is operated then the locking solenoid is not engaging and either needs replacing or determining if an electrical fault is at cause. 1: Insert the key into the ignition switch without switching on - the ignition must be off and no lights illuminated on the miles display.
2: Pull the signal and wiper levers towards the steering wheel until a confirmation beep is heard.
3: The miles display will display a P(+ number) follower by off or on.
4: Pushing the signal lever up or down will scroll through P1 to P7.
5: Pushing the wiper lever up or down will toggle the relevant P(+ number) on or off.
6: The P(+ number) customisation are as follows:
7: P1 - ON: Switch on the external lighting using the remote control.
8: P2 - ON: Automatic rear windscreen wiper when reverse gear selected.
9: P3 - ON: Lane change indication: three flashes when the lever is moved slightly. If the lever is held longer the indication flash is - as normal - continuous until automatically or manually cancelled.
19: P4 - ON: The driver door will unlock with one press of the remote but the passenger doors and tail-gate will require an additional press of the remote to unlock. This security feature will prevent unauthorised entry to the vehicle via passenger doors and tail-gate when the driver door is unlocked.
20: P4 - OFF: All doors including tail-gate will be unlocked with one press of the remote.
21: P5 - ON: All doors will automatically be locked a short while after unlocking if no door has been opened and will automatically lock all doors after the car is driven as short distance provided all doors are completely closed.
22: P6 - ON: A particular maximum speed can be assigned. When this speed is exceeded a warning buzzer sounds.
23: P7: Adjustment of the volume of the acoustic turn signal.

Just bought a corsa, 1 click unlocks the driver door, 2 clicks unlocks all doors apart from the front passenger door. I can open it from the inside only, yet once opened from the inside if I then close it I can then open it from the outside - anyone else had this issue?

When I bought my car the main key looks like a new replacement and although it is coded with the immobiliser it won't work the central locking and displays insp3 even with new remote batteries. I have tried the steps you have shown but it still doesn't work, do you have any ideas?
Here's what worked on my Vauxhall. Put key in the ignition and turn to position II. Hold down either door open or door closed button for at least 30 seconds. Turn off ignition and remove key. I notice that many videos did not emphasis the need to depress the button for at least 30 seconds but this is what worked for my key. Hope this helps.

So I bought an 08 plate Astra twintop. The key fob did not operate the central locking. I locked the driver's door and left the passenger side and boot open. But tonight I decided that I would lock the doors and leave a window open. First i opened the drivers door with the key. I put the key in the ignition and turned it so I could operate the drivers window. I then got out closed the door. Leaned in pressed the internal door locking button and removed the key. A neighbour was passing and said you have left your window open. I explained to him that I have to leave it open to lock the doors and boot. I have had the key fob tested at a key cutting place and they said the signal is fine. I said the car mustn't be receiving the signal look this button does not operate the central locking. I pressed the button and the central locking was working LOL 🤣 I felt a right plonker. Must have reset itself using your basic method. 👍🙂
