The biggest problem I keep having is it seems to take too many rockets to kill 1 vehicle. I hit this tank for 3 rockets and he still had 3/4ths hp. Then they just go drive off and heal. Same with choppers. They just drive off and heal.
It due to the fact they made the decision to make launchers available to everyone instead of only giving them to specific class like in bf4. So they had to make the rockets launchers shit since everyone is running round with them and it wouldn’t be fair on tanks.
Dude there's 64 people on one team. Have you tried playing objectives with a tank? You get hit with like 5 rockets simultaneously. Not to mention everyone having C4 as well.
I always equip emp grenades, they are really helpful. Sometimes I throw them at choppers when they are going low, or on a bolte when they charge up or other vehicles. So my them can destroy them. Only problem is, when u throw the grenade, sometimes it just explode infront of u for no reason..
I love playing Rao on vehicle heavy maps - or rather I would love to play him if hacking wasn't so goddamn' unrewarding. Hacking them and looking how players panic is so satisfying but not getting any points for asists is just getting robbed, giving that usually I can shot max two aa rockets and someone else hit that last shot. This needs to be patched.

ya man it's pretty funny... I like to troll the "battlefield is dead" sites because hating on the game seems to be their real hobby. we all know it's not perfect currently, but my m8s and I play almost every evening and we're really enjoying it.
honestly, bf4 had it right when it came to taking down vehicles. Like sniper, support, and engineer had the ability for annoying ground vehicles, while engie and skilled support had the perfect gadgets for air vehicles to shut them down
But hey it was fun when it had lasted and plus most of the time my team are just so useless when it came to using solflam and hacker for Rao where we get famed by a annoying chopper player and they don't sh*t. You forgot drone + C5 combo, I believe that is the most stealthiest way to take any land vehicle or even cluster of enemies. You literally cant see them coming before its too late.
It's not that challenging. Challenging is when your squad mate flies a mini and makes jump over the tank with c4 in hand. Most fun and challenging as they never see it coming. Plus there is no counter to c5 drone, has huge range and should be removed entirely
No stationary weapons in this Battlefield, but they have definitely given us the tools to counter vehicles. Although a towable Howitzer would be fun to drop around the map for your team.
If dice nerfed all of this anti vehicle I'm not surprised. They always sides with vehicles. Truth be told this battlefield has the most versatile ways to taking out vehicles. Not just RPGs/c4 back in BF4

Vehicles feel pretty overpowered when you play solo and only hope for others to play anti vehicle aswell. But let's say 1 full squad teams up against vehicles. Those 4 players can change the entire game. Especially in a game mode like Breakthrough where the action is not spread across the entire map. Only 4 players might be enough to keep the sector almost vehicle free.
Some of this stuff is pretty broken tbh (not to say that vehicles aren't broken either), like the EMP grenades. 8 seconds of disabled weapons AND countermeasures? Really? And it can be spammed multiple times by one player, and then by other players, too? If it just disabled weapons, then it'd be OK, but it disables countermeasures, too. 8 whole seconds for disabling weapons and countermeasures is far too long. Should be, like, 4 seconds instead.
Just use Casper with C5. Throw your C5s on your drone and fly the drone into any vehicle, it’ll detonate and you get the kills. Easiest way to solo ground vehicles in the game. You can lock on and EMP them with the drone before hand so they can’t smoke
I only do two primary things in this game. Fly the Nightbird and roam the battlefield with the .50 rifle. That rifle nerf was unnecessary and is now barely a tickle. I have emptied an entire magazine into the chopper and it still got 2/3 of its health.
I just spent most of a round firing off AA missiles at the Super Hokums on the enemy team (they had 3 somehow!?!?) and after firing maybe 30 shots in total only managed to kill 1. Even right after flares the follow up shots just half the time the missiles just disappear. It seems very buggy at the moment.
As someone who has been a serious tanker since bf1 having thousands of kills, if you are decent in a tank anything can be dealt with easily, including shooting down jets and copters if you got good predictions skills, the thing which gets my tank destroyed 95% of the time is C5 from enemies who hide well and wait for the right time to run out like when I'm in a firefight with tanks or something else, no doubt. Tanks vs anything mid or long range is easy to recover from by using obstacles to block vision and smoke to escape
Literally just Sundance and C4 from a high place. Tanks tend to stop to shoot (Don't blame them cuz the uneven ground shakes aim everywhere, I'm guessing the devs didn't research modern tank turrets very much lmao) So you can literally climb high, bring up the big map and look for a tank emblem, and then just locate it visually and decide whether it's engaged or just taking some pot shots, wait a few minutes and then glide in.
@@ethandonnelly1973 yeah true, I usually counter those with my regular smoke screens avoiding detection and the player had better throw the c5 before landing or id notice and prioritise them immediately
@@adam-jm1gq the trick is to swing wide of the tank and land at the 5 and 7 oclock positions and then throw the c4 from a few meters away. If you land too close you're noticed but if you fly in from those angles, as long as the enemy isn't checking around them every few seconds, you won't be noticed till it's too late. I carry a scar with AP gl rounds too anyway so even if you only have or or two c4 on the tank you can just it out and pop off the last couple shots needed to kill regardless
@@ethandonnelly1973 very true, but bare in mind tank sweats fake looks and angle so even though you may choose to drop at 7oclock, I will regularly be checking in 3rd person while holding left shift so my turret is facing towards someone else. So that 7oclock won't actually be where I'm looking and the turret swivel is surprisingly fast when not zooming in this game
Golden question; does that work on jets? Because for me NOTHING locks on jets unless they're too close, and then they don't remain close enough to lock anyways
On BF4 I practiced with the tank until I was able to one shot the air vehicles. Man that Shanghai map was brutal when the other team had an Ace heli pilot.
I hate they completely halved the damage to vehicles that the NTW had. I typically run infantry, mainly because I love the thrill of running through fields of bullets. I'm kinda more about supporting my team and the amount of vehicle spam is definitely ridiculous, even on PS4. I would have been fine with maybe a 25% drop in damage to vehicles instead of halving it's damage. Now it's only good enough to finish off fleeing vehicles and one-shotting infantry within around 100m. With the rechamber speed, makes it difficult for infantry if there's a lot of enemies unless you have a decent distance between you and them since there's so little cover.

I absolutely hate the scope on the RPG...just give us ironsight please, I mastered RPG ironsights on BF3 and 4, the scope really screws with my attempts to hit anything up close
Honestly... Something that just occurred to me, Why does the SOFLAM 'Break' A Lock... Because the Flares are IR projected and the SOFLAM is a Laser designator... So it's lasing the Target... I think the laser would likely still be effective regardless of the lock on...
Do you have a video that covers how to hit vehicles to get different malfunctions? Like disabled tracks, that wont allow vehicle to turn and just go forward and backward. Or generally loose speed. Is there even a way to predict result of damage dealt to a vehicle? Or is it just random.
Hey man u prolly know more than me but if u havent tried the ap grenade launcher it shred health off of tanks and almost more than half health if u direct hit the behind of them works perf cuz it wont take ur emp grenade slot and u can still have c5
I loved the NTW but I think the nerf makes sense. Not too many players have it unlocked yet. But later when most players are lvl 60 and more players use the NTW vehicles wouldn't stand a chance. I hate vehicles but if people would actually team up against them, they wouldn't be a problem at all. Before the nerf 4 guys with the NTW could take out a hovercraft in 0,1 secs by shooting at the same time.
Once everyone hits level 60 it will be overwhelmingly OP. it literally performs better than the ONLY dedicated anti tank rocket launcher in the game. Personally I think they should keep it the same for light vehicles ATVs/hovercraft/Boltes but make it do less damage to the tanks/wildcat/MAV. You're going to have 6 snipers on a roof yeeting a tank in less than 5 seconds once everyone has this thing unlocked lol

Its always the vehicle people that go 90 and 10 that cry about us infantry guys getting something decent. Excuse me if i dont want to be farmed. I'm totally willing to go head to head with some vehicles with that weapon pre nerf.... made it fun. But I guess because they could only go 90 and 20 it made it less enjoyable for them lol I like the idea of it hitting less hard on heavily armed objects. Should have reduced its drop since they reduced its effectiveness imo So nerf this gun... but by all means let a character with a riot shield take on c5, a tank and a helicopter and survive while he melees tanks to death. @@DefenestrateLogic I think they should buff the recoil and bullet speed to make it easier to use against fast light vehicles (bolt/hover/ATV) and little birds but like I said just less effective against tanks/wildcats/MAVs
What about Jets. Unlike BF4 there's only short range AA so Jets can fly in, flare, bomb and fly off with impunity. They can even hunt AA vehicles with ease. Without Active Radar AA missiles like BF4, Jets are invincible unless your side has a good pilot which often isn't the case. Jets shouldn't be totally immune to AA vehicles.
Honestly the best counter is to have good pilots on your own team to keep them busy, I’m a pilot myself and I only harass the foot soldiers when the enemy has no air support. The heli really isn’t that powerful if your getting wrecked it’s because they’re probably a good pilot.
I pilot the hokum or Apache myself and switch to the gunner to take out infantry got 72 kills last night it was amazing lmao no pilots were coming for me

Sky limit helis do almost nothing. Jets counter them. All the jet has to do is bide their time and they WILL kill the helicopter. It's kind of whack how little counter play there is right now. Attack helicopters are pretty useless in the current game build
Enjoy it. The rocket is getting a nerf. It’s bugged and when you use the soflam aircrafts can’t avoid it even when they use flares. They should leave it bugged. People spam helicopters a lot in this game.
Well flares are supposed to trick a heat seeking rocket to blowing up on them, not stop lock-ons, but DICE made them like chaff and flares combined (even though sometimes rockets will loop around flares, then go back to the helicopter).

EMPs are underrated. In a game were everything is based off technology it is extremely under used.
I freaking emp drone the shit out of enemy ground vehicles. Great for two man squad to take down things.

EMP is the bane of a vehicle player, because you make the vehicle completely defenseless so you can bully vehicles with impunity..

I loved what they did in BF1, if you did the majority of damage on a player you got "assist counts as kill"

They literally have a health bar when you hit them. Weapons do so much damage, you can tell if one more is shot is going to kill them or not

Yeah it can be fun, but I have also blown up many Caspers standing and readying their drone with c5 😂 It blew up in their face instead.

Don't forget about the good ol fashion C5 car. My personal favorite is the C5 Bolte.

I used the drone /c4 combo with land Vehicles. I put c4 on drone , have drone emp vehicles , then switch to c4 to finish then off.
If the vehicle is stationary, just crash your drone into it.
You re wasting time. Go down on that vehicle and get instant kills

I hate vehicles but if people would actually team up against them, they wouldn't be a problem at all. Before the nerf 4 guys with the NTW could take out a hovercraft in 0,1 secs by shooting at the same time.
64 players on the map, you want everybody in a team to play NTW? It s enough a 4 people squad do it and just pick up vehicles one by one.

Sadly that sniper is getting nerfed... only had a couple hours with it. Loved it.
Once everyone hits level 60 it will be overwhelmingly OP. it literally performs better than the ONLY dedicated anti tank rocket launcher in the game. Personally I think they should keep it the same for light vehicles ATVs/hovercraft/Boltes but make it do less damage to the tanks/wildcat/MAV. You're going to have 6 snipers on a roof yeeting a tank in less than 5 seconds once everyone has this thing unlocked lol

The drop off is so terrible on it that beyond a hundred or two it becomes difficult to gauge. Its always the vehicle people that go 90 and 10 that cry about us infantry guys getting something decent. Excuse me if i dont want to be farmed. I'm totally willing to go head to head with some vehicles with that weapon pre nerf.... made it fun. But I guess because they could only go 90 and 20 it made it less enjoyable for them lol
I like the idea of it hitting less hard on heavily armed objects. Should have reduced its drop since they reduced its effectiveness imo
So nerf this gun... but by all means let a character with a riot shield take on c5, a tank and a helicopter and survive while he melees tanks to death. Lmao
@@DefenestrateLogic I think they should buff the recoil and bullet speed to make it easier to use against fast light vehicles (bolt/hover/ATV) and little birds but like I said just less effective against tanks/wildcats/MAVs

What about Jets. Unlike BF4 there's only short range AA so Jets can fly in, flare, bomb and fly off with impunity. They can even hunt AA vehicles with ease. Without Active Radar AA missiles like BF4, Jets are invincible unless your side has a good pilot which often isn't the case. Jets shouldn't be totally immune to AA vehicles.
Honestly the best counter is to have good pilots on your own team to keep them busy, I’m a pilot myself and I only harass the foot soldiers when the enemy has no air support. The heli really isn’t that powerful if your getting wrecked it’s because they’re probably a good pilot.
I pilot the hokum or Apache myself and switch to the gunner to take out infantry got 72 kills last night it was amazing lmao no pilots were coming for me

Sky limit helis do almost nothing. Jets counter them. All the jet has to do is bide their time and they WILL kill the helicopter. It's kind of whack how little counter play there is right now. Attack helicopters are pretty useless in the current game build

They should leave it bugged. People spam helicopters a lot in this game.

Well flares are supposed to trick a heat seeking rocket to blowing up on them, not stop lock-ons, but DICE made them like chaff and flares combined (even though sometimes rockets will loop around flares, then go back to the helicopter).

EMP and Hack need an upgrade. EMP should completely take out the HUD for players and hack should flood the screen with false positive enemy markers.

Rao is my go to for annoying pilots. I’m super precise with tracking the hacking. And it leaves them a sitting duck if they don’t leave the airspace.
Well yeah but its pretty easier to get out of range of Rao's hack. Hacking range is very limited.
