Ironic, the best Halo was the one where the protagonist wasn't even a Spartan, and thats what i like about this game, this shows the true face of the war.

Dude i remember this game as a kid playing this, i was really scared every time it turns back to night time, searching for your partners at night, detecting their whereabouts, killing dozens of aliens. That feeling had me kept going.
I got the Xbox 360 bundle with this game so it was the only game I played for like a month or 2 until I could buy more games. I grew up playing halo 1 and 2 co-op over my friends house every week and this was the first halo game I owned myself. What a piece of art. The nostalgia is real
One part that I love of the game is when u play mission with ur team, it such a nice feeling to know that u still have a team after playing most of the game solo, u rly feel so lonely at the start of the game...and the eerie music doesn't make it any better😅

@@seanfreeman4514 Reach is a prequel to the entire Halo series. Without reach, Halo Ce wouldnt have happened. Halo 3 ODST takes place during Halo 2. Halo odst comes right after you defeat the Scarab in the city in Halo 2, and get on the infinity and chase after the covenant through the slip space
After Halo Combat Evolved in 2001, this is easily the second best game in the franchise. 2 and 3 were great as well, but not as memorable as 1 and ODST.
I'm starting to realize one the differences between ODST and the other Halo's. The soundtrack. ODST's soundtrack sounds pretty mysterious or suspenseful. I guess this reflects the Character's attitude towards everything. But on the other Hand. With Chief. You get very melancholy or uplifting or even laid back soundtracks. Like for Chief this shit is a walk in the park. Then Melancholy theme with Chief having to take on something much bigger than he is as one man. I wanted to share this. I think that might be what they were going for with ODST. I'd say they did a good job.
Now that was a fucking game. I haven't played it since its release and haven't played Halo since the Didact, but out of all the games, ODST is the one Halo game I seem to find the most memorable.

I remember before Halo 2 was out they released a video showing a supposed Halo 2 gameplay where MC is fighting in a city, when the game was finally released many people where upset that the actual Halo 2 game did not have a similar level to one shown on the trailer. What stage is that on 2:45? I never got a vsr intel alert to go 'underground' yet. My last 2 levels been locked forever. After unlocking kikowani I would think next stage unlocks, like the hive. Any advice is greatly appreciated

Loved how ot was so drastic from playing as chief just mowing them now. Now you gott sneak,hit and run, no 5v1 you wont survive especially when on the higher difficulty
15:40 This game has to have one of the worst first 'rooms' ever in an first person shooter; wandering around in the very first plaza for a half hour before giving up on the unreachable waypoint, looking at this walkthrough after seeing a bunch of forum posts stumped by the same problem, and seeing the unmarked security door (identical to all the other locked security doors) that the player is supposed to magically arrive at on their own. Even this walkthrough, the player stumbles around quite a bit before finding the magic door. My second time playing through the campaign, second time I was stumped to the point of needing help for this exact issue. Game should be patched to put a waypoint at this location.
Even though the face models in halo 3 dont age very well, theyre so animated and full of life (at least in the cutscenes) that it more than makes up for it.
Ahh good times. This is one Halo game where you can take your time playing stealthy and the closest to being an "open world" Halo Infinite never could be.
this gameplay is really useful since i am trying to remake the entirety of mobassa streets on fortnite and might make it a zombie pve map or a battlefield pvp game type.
