What an amazing time, as far as vehicular technology goes, that we live in. In a relatively short time we have gone from the Hellcat, to the Demon, to the horsepower wars between the Challenger, Camaro, Mustang, to changing the Vette and giving us the C8, to this TRX and a “green “ Hummer with 1000hp. It’s been a driving enthusiasts’ wet dream! I can’t wait to see what’s next.....
Your cinematography and music choices are always top notch with your reviews, especially this one. As for the Ram TRX itself, it's extremely impressive and I'm really happy to see a true Ford Raptor competitor now. Keep up the good reviews while staying safe out there, SavageGeese! I'm eager to see your next reviews on other new vehicles like the new 2021 Chevrolet Suburban, Ford F-150, etc whenever you get the safe opportunity to borrow one of them for a review.
The comments are awesome on this one guys! When off-roading usually you would be going slower (smaller engines, in low range), with deflated higher profile tires 38" on 16" rims, aftermarket monster suspension & travel, then it's a bit more tolerable (as in not requiring Depends for Mark). The TRX want's to be a trophy truck with twice the weight and 1/4 of the suspension travel.
I LOVE IT!!!! It looks like so much fun!!!! I LOVE THE METALLIC BLUE!!!! SUGGESTION: Please consider building a 2WD version and call it the TRX REDEYE. Just like the REDEYE Challenger. With a T-56. option.
The caveat of “if you have a warranty if you buy it or lease it, you’re gonna be so happy,” is that in reference to long-term reliability? That’s the one thing I’ve been mulling over...I want one, but plan on keeping it for 10-15 years and over 100,000 miles. I wonder how it’s reliability would be over such a span? Never owned an FCA product, but seriously digging the TRX!
Awww fuq yeah! Looking forward to that 718 GTS 4.0 content! If I had another $40K and didn't have to wait till Jan/Feb to order one the way I wanted I'd grab one of those over the M2C!
Random Craigslist Detroit ad: "2017 Ford Raptor for sale 60k miles, $40k. First with cash gets it." Never offroaded. "Meet me in the parking lot of Chrysler Dr in Auburn Hills."
Why? The v6 is much better. The only thing that would be better than the v6 would be a 4 liter v8 with twin turbos in a hot V configuration. Purely just for the v8 sound. Not necessarily performance. OR what would be TRULY amazing is if they just put a huge 7.7L high compression natually apserated high reving DOHC V8 in it. Massive torque from the displacement and high hp from the high revs. Win win.
I'm really waiting for the press video.. one of my top channels with magnificent efforts and a treasure of informations I'm really appreciate your Work working guys, love from kuw🔥👊
FCA deserves some credit here. They could have just mated a Power Wagon with a Raptor and called it a day but instead they went all out with a truck that shouldn't exist. Can't wait for the full review.
"If I didn't have to take a shit before, this will jar it loose." That's the kind of hard hitting journalism you're just not going to get anywhere else.
0:12 Fast enough to chase down teens in a STI and with the bed capacity for the entire chainsaw collection. Its Dodge Demon and Forestry Truck Todd all in one package.
It's cool seeing FCA recognizing that having flagship performance models is good for branding. Before the Hellcat/Demon lineup I never understood why anyone would purchase a dodge/ram new because the brand just didn't have anything exciting about it. While these top end models may not sell incredibly well, I feel like just having them in their lineup definitely helps sales of their lesser cars. The brand isn't just any old boring car company anymore, there's something exciting and youthful about them because they're willing to produce cars that they know might not sell that well, but are crazy and fun nonetheless.
Nice to see a company compete against Ford's Raptor. (Agreed - Huge mistake to place a V-6 in the raptor). I would like to see a smaller, lighter truck with a 5.7L V-8 also. Great review as always!
Really a great truck. Maybe nobody really needs it but that is to be said about so many expensive products. At least it will make some enthusiasts happy!
The truck is just flat out bad ass. Ram did not just jack up a Ram Rebel, throw on some 35s, and call it a day. The TRX is so new that it could qualify as an all-new vehicle(at least under the skin). Being large and in charge took some guts from Ram, but they certainly backed it up. She's thirsty for sure(however, the 6.2L Raptor was 11/14 with only 411hp, so Ram offering nearly 300hp more returning the same mileage is an astonishing feat), but the trade-off is an astonishingly powerful truck with many tricks up its sleeve. I can not WAIT to get my hands on one.
Be kinda interesting if Ford and Ram would make base model versions of their trucks with the same offroad components as these top-tier offerings. The prices are just so damn high

8:59 mickey mouse laugh Jack makes, all overlaid with the face Jack made at 8:30 jumping the truck.
Love the videos, great work as always!
I love the refined cabin, the sound deadening is super impressive for long road trips, there's no need for the reviewers to question that because people will buy aftermarket exhaust if they want more exhaust sound
"...I gotta take a shit!". Words we've all said and heard before. But coming from Mark was unexpected, and thus made my soda sip come up through my nose! Thanks, Mark!
The cinematography is on point ☝🏻
Definitely the best review of the TRX thus far.
I laughed my arse off when Mark said " I gotta take a shit".......Hilarious video, but still so educational and informative. Thanks guys and "g'day" from Warwick in Queensland Australia!
It's fun to watch you guys do something that 2 people will possibly do once after buying it and realizing how much they are paying for it. Then it's just smooth roads forever.......
You are slowly but surely becoming a first class comedy act.
Gee Whiz! These videos keep getting better & better. Thanks for this.
I'm so glad you guys got to go to this press release and share with us. It's a car I'll never own but enjoyed every second of your video
Wow what a great first look! This channel has original top gear vibes.
Speaking from east europe, this is the product wich makes America great place in my eyes.
You guys are awesome... been watching your reviews forever. You always offer the perfect blend of humor and information. =]
Speed academy hoodie. A man of culture I see.
Whoever does the camera work ❤️❤️❤️ absolutely gorgeous.
Mark and I swap off. This time mark did the drone work and i got the slider work done. Thanks for the kind words.
@@jackholmes8105 all the shots are just crisp and clean. I appreciate you guys! Keep up the amazing work!
Awesome photography/video editing.
“If I didn’t need to take a shit, this thing is going to jar it loose now.” That will be in the TRX brochure.
Y’ALL NEED MORE DAMN SUBS! Excellent video as always.
You guys produce the best videos!!!
Gotta take a $h1t! Epic review. Loved it!
Probably the greatest offroad review of all-time
Can't wait for the next vid! Keep up the great work as always!
I LOVE IT!!!! It looks like so much fun!!!! I LOVE THE METALLIC BLUE!!!! SUGGESTION: Please consider building a 2WD version and call it the TRX REDEYE. Just like the REDEYE Challenger. With a T-56. option.
Your videos are amazing. I love all the technical analysis; really looking forward to part 2. Also, that Cayman GTS 👀
7:29 most epic vehicle review quote ever!
Definitely a fun truck. We enjoyed driving it!!
Random Craigslist Detroit ad: "2017 Ford Raptor for sale 60k miles, $40k. First with cash gets it." Never offroaded. "Meet me in the parking lot of Chrysler Dr in Auburn Hills."
“If I didn’t have to take a shit this will jar it loose now” love that line lmaaoooo 😂😂
You two make a great team. Don't miss turbokowski at all.
I really hope this makes Ford put the V8 back into the Raptor.
I love competition
I think they are actually. 2021 maybe.
Win win.
@@followthegrow108 the v6 is for men who are very sexually secure and have small pp
Love the honest reaction when off road ing
One of the more succinct review comments I've seen: "I imagine this is what it's like if you're angry and you own a ranch"
I'm really waiting for the press video.. one of my top channels with magnificent efforts and a treasure of informations I'm really appreciate your Work working guys, love from kuw🔥👊
It’s hilarious watching guys who spend all day in Mercedes and BMWs try off roading for the first time
they use volvo and corvette
@@valpanig Yes but they review a lot of German cars and luxury cars
FCA deserves some credit here. They could have just mated a Power Wagon with a Raptor and called it a day but instead they went all out with a truck that shouldn't exist. Can't wait for the full review.
"If I didn't have to take a shit before, this will jar it loose."
That's the kind of hard hitting journalism you're just not going to get anywhere else.
0:12 Fast enough to chase down teens in a STI and with the bed capacity for the entire chainsaw collection. Its Dodge Demon and Forestry Truck Todd all in one package.
I am interested in its chainsaw carrying capacity.
Cannot wait to see your full review!
Hilarious video as always, thanks guys!
I was sooo happy... until you squished the snickers bar. Appalling.
Keep up the good work, boys! 👍🏼
Hopefully this is a turning point in quality and longevity for FCA because this is one cool truck.
I was not expecting jumps, this thing is wild
Nice to see a company compete against Ford's Raptor. (Agreed - Huge mistake to place a V-6 in the raptor). I would like to see a smaller, lighter truck with a 5.7L V-8 also. Great review as always!
Yes, people do that stuff for fun. I'll be 68 y/o next month and I still do that after 35+ years of it.
Cant believe they did this event by my hometown. These videos make me want to move back.
13:40 Bluetooth Device "I HAVE A MICROPENIS." I'm dying.
Mark’s “if my civic has 4WD it can do this” comment made my day.
The sound problem is easily fixed with a $500-700 exhaust swap or $200 muffler delete. Can’t say the same with the Raptor.
raptor sounds like a weed eater
"Let's move on to final impressions because I gotta take s💩it!" CLASSIC!🤣
For those curious, the song at 6:51 is called "Struggle in the Jungle" by Kikoru
Wow. What a great episode. "If I didn't have to take a shit, this will surely knock it loose!"
Be kinda interesting if Ford and Ram would make base model versions of their trucks with the same offroad components as these top-tier offerings. The prices are just so damn high
For long drives on the road, between desert running, what you want is quiet, comfortable and refined.
