For example, when the companions went to the Prophet’s (şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam) grave at the time of drought and asked for his help. (See Ibn Taymiya’s Iqtisa Şirāt al-Mustaqīm, p. 373 and Fatĥ al-Bāri, chapter on Istisqā.)
